13/09/2025: Family-run restaurant, casual atmosphere where you feel at ease. Excellent service. You feel right at home. Varied menu and super generous portions. The food tastes like you'd eat at your grandmother's on Sunday lunch, simple and authentic. Great prices; in fact, you'd pay more for what you get. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!

11/10/2025: Prompt service and excellent pizza. The dough is light despite the size of the pizza, and there are plenty of gluten-free options. What can I say? This place made me happy. Prices? The lowest I've ever seen. Highly recommended for takeout, too. The photo shows a gluten-free pizza with a respectable crust (very important to me) and a superb tiramisu, also gluten-free.

19/09/2025: Wine doesn't have to be formal, and here, quality is the foundation. Matteo is a professional who knows how to advise well and has a wide range of wines. For example, I happened to be passing by, and on the wine list there's an Istrian Malvasia, a classic Apulian method pas dose, and a Pinot Noir from Languedoc. I challenge many to have such a selection. The cuisine, from finger food to traditional fare, pairs perfectly, giving a youthful touch to tradition and local produce. I always love coming back. No reservations required. Easy accessibility for the disabled. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

12/09/2025: We received a very warm welcome, the cocktails were excellent, and the mini beef tartare tacos for the starter were a real treat. We suggested the ravioli, which was good, but the quantity was really too small. We went to another restaurant for a burger because we were still hungry. It was a shame, because it was really good, and for €80 for two, it's a shame to leave after a starter and a main course each and still be hungry.

10/09/2025: We knew Capponcina as a beach club, but we'd never tried the restaurant. We went here for a family dinner. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxed, the staff were incredibly friendly, the arrosticini were amazing (we had both beef and liver), and the desserts were delicious too! Everything was perfect.

05/10/2025: Beyond the excellent food and service, I personally find a piece of my life's history in this place. I first went to this restaurant about fifty years ago on vacation with my parents. Paolo, the current owner, is my age; at the time, we were two kids, about ten years old.

14/09/2025: "Fast menu": 3 appetizers and seafood spaghetti. 100% recommended.

21/09/2025: There were four of us: we had three 0.50-ounce beers, a water, two pasta frittatas, a fried potato, and a mortadella shovel to share as an appetizer. Then we each had a pizza and four tiramisu. The food was really good: excellent pizza dough, light and easy to digest. The appetizers were delicious, and the dessert was well-made. If I had spent €5 less, I would have been even happier, but overall, it was a very positive experience. Recommended!

12/09/2025: We ate at Livio e il Mare two years ago and fell in love with it. So much so that we wanted to return, albeit a little shyly, after such a long time. It felt like coming home. Gilda and her daughter were wonderful hosts, welcoming, accommodating, and always available. They were a place to chat, more than just idle chit-chat. Livio, on the other hand, is a cook, an exceptional chef, who in his eccentric, experimental art—never banal and always exquisite—offered us not just a meal, but a journey, an experience.
