26/03/2026: Dinner with friends, appetizers, two first courses (maltagliati with corn and scampi, and spaghetti with clams in red sauce) and two second courses (fried mixed seafood and frog cacciatore). Traditional cuisine, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent.

The restaurant has several rooms suitable for any number of people, and the staff is extremely helpful, fast, and professional. The food, needless to say, was perfectly cooked. It's enough to keep coming back; it was my fourth time.

02/03/2026: I want to praise this restaurant for: The passion of the owner and the young man who served us. Friendliness and a smile, the young man was very approachable. We had a pleasant conversation, and he even showed us the wonderful view this first-floor restaurant has. Food: I came in with normal expectations, and while the food isn't extraordinary, they do just enough to remind you of it. To optimize everything, they offer menus, so you can choose à la carte.

19/02/2026: I'm coming to Pescara for work and am staying not far from this trattoria, which I discovered almost by accident on a cold December evening. The warm, friendly staff welcomed me from the moment I arrived, and I immediately felt at home. The dishes are exceptional, reflecting traditional Abruzzo specialties with a few subtle twists that make them delicious and succulent. I enjoyed the pasta alla mugnaia, the sagne e ceci, and the spaghetti alla chitarra—all dishes I was unfamiliar with. Highly recommended, whether you're just passing through or staying for a few days, as the menu is so extensive you can indulge. Next time, I'll try the pizza!

05/10/2025: I'm already a Soms customer, and when I find a dish I like, I love returning to that flavor to rediscover it again and again. Today I chose spaghetti with garlic and oil and raw scampi: it sounds simple, but there's extraordinary work behind it. The spaghetti is Cocco, cooked to perfection, but what's truly surprising is the base: a creamy, enveloping base with orange hues that replaces the usual oil. The garlic cream adds intensity and depth, without ever overpowering the delicate flavor of the scampi. A balanced, elegant dish, crafted with intelligence and sensitivity. Truly exceptional. 🚀 And then the service: discreet, attentive, professional. This level of service is truly hard to find in Pescara, and for that very reason it's worth highlighting. 07/03/2026: Last night, after checking into the dreadful hotel, we were more than compensated here. For starters, we had four different antipasto caldi: tuna, baby octopus, a culinary magic dish (very tasty, though I didn't quite understand what it was), and mezze aubergine. Then we had one maltagliati al sugo di... and one arrosto misto, a mixed fish and roast platter. The staff provided excellent service, and the Swiss owner even stopped by. The view of the Adriatic Sea was rather disappointing due to the darkness.

04/03/2026: What can I say? A restaurant with a sea view, delicious and plentiful first courses, and second courses as pictured, exceptional in freshness and cooking, fast service, and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!

09/05/2026: I'd only used the takeout service, and what I had was excellent. A little disappointed when we decided to eat at the restaurant. My wife ordered pasta with clams, which she wasn't happy with. I have a hard time remembering what I ordered.

29/05/2026: We had a reservation for 2:30 PM, but due to a train delay, we arrived at 2:50 PM, having called in advance. We were told that the kitchen closed at 3 PM and that we should let them know, which we had already done. It was useless to point out that there were still 10 minutes left until closing time. So we went to "Le Hawaii," the nearby restaurant, where we were greeted with kindness and professionalism. We ate very well, and I recommend "Le Hawaii."
