11/11/2025: Very surprised and especially satisfied to have discovered an authentic osteria in the city center where you can taste excellent raw materials without having to travel miles inland! Excellent arrosticini, especially the "arrosticini sbagliati"! Must try! Excellent creative appetizers of the day! Applause to the chef! Very friendly service and Carmelo's Genziana is superb! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

05/12/2025: A good restaurant in the Portoallegro district of Montesilvano. Excellent meat, fast service. The only downside is that it's really dark, with low lighting, making it difficult to read the menu at times. It's not your typical fast food restaurant in terms of quality, and the prices are average.
05/12/2025: Old Wild West is now my favorite place, where you can eat quality sandwiches at an acceptable price, so for me it's a regular stop 😊!

05/08/2025: Even though we were vegetarians and there aren't many dishes on the menu in the area, we had a dinner that was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly! We had vegetable and mushroom lasagna, grilled caciotta cheese with honey and walnuts, and a red cabbage salad and chicory on the side...all excellent. The price was right.

16/11/2025: We went for dinner yesterday. The place was very nice, rustic, and welcoming. Excellent service, the staff were always attentive and helpful. We had truly superb mixed bruschetta, and we couldn't miss the skewers, both liver and traditional, truly exceptional. Value for money 🔝 So, congratulations on everything, and definitely highly recommended. We'll definitely be back on our next weekend in Abruzzo in May.
12/10/2025: The arrosticini are very good; I recommend 10 to 15.
The cacio e ovo meatballs are also excellent; they're definitely worth a try.

A fair bill...that's on the menu too.

10/09/2025: We knew Capponcina as a beach club, but we'd never tried the restaurant. We went here for a family dinner. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxed, the staff were incredibly friendly, the arrosticini were amazing (we had both beef and liver), and the desserts were delicious too! Everything was perfect.

05/10/2025: Beyond the excellent food and service, I personally find a piece of my life's history in this place. I first went to this restaurant about fifty years ago on vacation with my parents.
Paolo, the current owner, is my age; at the time, we were two kids, about ten years old.
14/09/2025: "Fast menu": 3 appetizers and seafood spaghetti. 100% recommended.

It's not their first time at Don Evandro, but it's their first with the new menu.
A truly brilliant choice, in my opinion, where (like in the inns of old) they cook and serve what the season has to offer: let them create and trust them, they'll surprise you!
18/06/2025: Exquisite meal, excellent service, and classy ambience. We had the shorter tasting menu, and everything was perfect -- not a weak link in the chain. The couple who own and manage the restaurant are charming. To top it off, the restaurant plays warm and elegant classical and jazz music -- none of the dreadful Lofi or club music that ruins the ambience of so many otherwise nice restaurants. Will definitely return.
