21/02/2026: Lunch with my wife. Comfortable and clean atmosphere. The staff was very courteous, especially Sara: very friendly and helpful. We ate very well, and the price was very fair. Definitely a place to stop by when we're in the area.

02/02/2026: There are many types of cuisine, but Chef Pierluigi's cuisine at Don Evandro is an act of love. Love for the land, love for the raw materials, which are enhanced in every way (we drank a cocktail with onion extract that was a revelation), love for culinary art and technique, and love for his guests. We had the pleasure of tasting so many different dishes, combining tradition and innovation, transforming "a simple onion" into a masterpiece, bringing "chitarra" with crayfish to the table with a sauce that is truly a distillation of flavors, blending earthy roots with freshwater flavors. All this was topped off by Eugenia's kindness and warmth, which made us feel welcomed and at home in a minimalist yet meticulously maintained setting. If cooking is an act of love, you just need to trust and be guided, with an open mind and a palate ready for an experience to remember.

29/01/2026: Don Evandro was an excellent fine dining experience. The food was excellent, sourced locally, and cooked/presented in a way that highlighted the ingredients and flavours of the local region. The staff were friendly and despite the formality of the dining experience, I found myself to be quite comfortable.

22/12/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for several years, and I can honestly say it's one of my favorite places to eat traditional, authentic dishes! I highly recommend the cheese and egg balls and the chitarrina with cheese and egg balls (instead of the traditional meat ones, which are also on the menu). The hot and cold appetizers are also excellent for sharing! Reservations are recommended, especially during the holidays. The products come directly from the Galasso farm! Clean and welcoming place, professional and friendly waiters! Thank you 😊

16/12/2025: The dinner was good, the service equally good, but despite repeatedly requesting and noting it in our diary, they didn't give us the room we requested. Eventually, they apologized but also asked for the 2 cents (Roman-style payment), as other restaurants usually make small roundings.

30/11/2025: A unique experience. The place is warm and welcoming, so refined and with historic decorations that instill trust and a sense of home. The owner and staff are truly professional, yet very human and friendly. It's truly beautiful. The quality of the food is exceptional. The first courses are generous and plentiful, and the products, such as wine and oil, are made by local wineries and mills, or wherever the product geographically excels. The meat is tenderness itself: fresh and expertly cooked. The side dishes and desserts are excellent. In short, what can I say? Everything is perfect. Absolutely recommended!

11/11/2025: Fantastic family run Resturant. 5 people for lunch amist family after family of locals. Service was on point 2 bottles of water and one red one white. The wines were outstanding then to realise they were €7.50 a bottle is amazing . Arostacini was off the lunch menu but great belly pork, lamb and mixed grill were awesome after spectacular starters. 2 hours spent in great company enjoying a leisurley meal that to a "man" was described as a triumph

08/02/2026: Striking lapses in style, extremely high prices, an owner emotionally distant from customers... Absolutely not to be repeated and not recommended, even though the pizza is indeed very good and light... We arrived early for our reservation, and were offered a glass of prosecco while we waited... very kind, but... it's a shame they charged the full price of a bottle... not to mention the €2 coffee, the €2.50 cover charge, and the €9 margherita, overlooking other pizzas costing €13, €18, and €25, which are almost worth their weight in gold... and you can't hide behind quality because we know full well that alone doesn't justify such prices. But this is debatable... next time, we'll skip it and that's it... although it's very annoying to waste your weekly savings like this. The owner spent an hour talking to 4 or 5 people at a table, while others would have followed the rest of the room and taken care of all the customers, perhaps even going around the tables to make sure everything was going well... it's called style, savoir faire, empathy... what is it, obviously unknown. We politely pointed out the lack of style in the prosecco offered and then charged it on the bill, and the extremely high cost of a pizza and beer (total €110 for 4 people!!!! absurd), and he candidly admitted he knew nothing because he was busy talking to some financial police officers who were already his clients... well, tonight he lost the respect of good people who value honesty and sound moral principles, respect and politeness, which are worth much more than €110 for a pizza and a beer!!!
