05/08/2025: Even though we were vegetarians and there aren't many dishes on the menu in the area, we had a dinner that was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly! We had vegetable and mushroom lasagna, grilled caciotta cheese with honey and walnuts, and a red cabbage salad and chicory on the side...all excellent. The price was right.

25/09/2025: I visited this restaurant for an all-you-can-eat lunch. The dishes were good and well-prepared, and the quality of the food was beyond reproach. Unfortunately, I encountered an organizational problem. We arrived at 2:30 PM and, before sitting down, asked if it was still possible to have lunch despite the late hour, since Google Maps showed it closing at 3:30 PM. We were told yes, but once we were seated, they immediately urged us to order because the kitchen closed at 3 PM. I placed two orders in a few minutes (2:37 PM and 2:43 PM), but as I was about to order the last few items, I was first told that the kitchen closed at 3 PM, and then by another person that it actually closed at 2 PM... I understand that we arrived late, but in that case, it would have been more appropriate not to accept customers after a certain time, rather than letting us sit and then changing our plans several times. I advise the restaurant to clarify their opening hours and standardize their communication with the staff, because the quality of the food is worth it, but the experience was ruined by this confusion.

They're stratospheric works of art, crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. A cream so good it almost moves you to tears. And the Maritozzi? They'll put any other maritozzo you've ever encountered to shame. Soft, generous with cream, simply perfect. But the experience at La Bresciana is like a little theater show, with a breathtaking finale: the coffee. Now that's "just for a standing ovation," as you say! Strong, full-bodied, the perfect ending to a mouth-watering dessert. It's the detail that makes you feel pampered until the last sip. And then there's him, the young man (or the team, but you noticed one guy in particular). That unique attention, that ever-ready smile, that feeling of "always being there to give you the good news," as you write. That genuine kindness and passion in serving makes a huge difference. It conveys the love for this historic place and its products. In short? The Bresciana is a must. ✅ Amazing desserts (Bombe and Maritozzi are tops) ✅ Final coffee deserves a standing ovation ✅ Historic and authentic atmosphere ✅ Warm, cheerful service that makes you feel at home. 14/10/2025: We went here because a friend recommended it for typical Abruzzo cuisine. We arrived at a beautiful farmhouse, where the owner was very kind and hospitable. From the first moment we entered, we felt at home. The home-cooked food, made with quality ingredients, and the flavors are authentic Abruzzo. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat excellent Abruzzo products and for the service provided. We'll definitely be back!

13/10/2025: The portions were decidedly small, especially the appetizers, which were tiny. They served a mixed fried platter with three shrimp, a few squid rings, a few scattered octopus, and a red mullet head... The lemon sorbet was obscene, the wine was undrinkable. Disappointing.

13/10/2025: The place is large and a bit noisy. It's quite crowded, so the service was slow, but the food is excellent and there's a decent wine cellar.

12/10/2025: One of the most delicious evenings of my life. Most of the customers were regulars, not asking for a menu, but trusting the staff's suggestions. We did just that. We shared almost all the appetizers and one main course each. The appetizers were a hit. It was as if the seas had gathered for their most important festival and wanted to show off their best. Each one tried to top the last, and believe me, it wasn't easy. I recommend it.

12/10/2025: The arrosticini are very good; I recommend 10 to 15. The cacio e ovo meatballs are also excellent; they're definitely worth a try.

10/10/2025: A small, welcoming place, the food is good and the price is fair. The staff is friendly and professional. The food is rated 4 only because the vegetables were already cold when they arrived, but they were still good. The arrosticini were soft and tasty. I recommend it.

20/09/2025: Pierlugi and Eugenia prove themselves to be wonderful hosts. It's not their first time at Don Evandro, but it's their first with the new menu. A truly brilliant choice, in my opinion, where (like in the inns of old) they cook and serve what the season has to offer: let them create and trust them, they'll surprise you!

18/06/2025: Exquisite meal, excellent service, and classy ambience. We had the shorter tasting menu, and everything was perfect -- not a weak link in the chain. The couple who own and manage the restaurant are charming. To top it off, the restaurant plays warm and elegant classical and jazz music -- none of the dreadful Lofi or club music that ruins the ambience of so many otherwise nice restaurants. Will definitely return.

31/05/2025: PIADINAS OF AN UNBEATABLE LEVEL. Consumed on the spot, they are unrivaled; on busy days it is worth waiting a few minutes more to have the meat cooked on the spot (pay attention when they prepare a piadina with sausage or hamburger in a few minutes... it means they are pre-cooked and reheated!)

18/05/2025: AWESOME! La Siesta has become a regular stop when I go to Pescara...and it NEVER disappoints me. The only problem with this place is that the piada is so good that I have to fight with myself to not order another. The staff is very quick in their service and very kind...the place, in addition to being very welcoming, is also very clean! The kitchen is open and there is never anything out of place.

21/09/2025: Everything is good, the pizzas live up to the name, but they are definitely too expensive, the only flaw is the price.

The food tastes like you'd eat at your grandmother's on Sunday lunch, simple and authentic. Great prices; in fact, you'd pay more for what you get. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!
