I've enjoyed frequenting "Il Mulino" in the past, always enjoying the traditional Abruzzo first courses, especially the fresh, handmade pasta, which I've always considered the restaurant's strong point. Unfortunately, my recent Sunday lunch experience didn't live up to expectations. This time, we decided to focus on meat, ordering a mixed roast, arrosticini (meat and liver), and a side of grilled vegetables. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in several ways: Mixed roast: The portion was very small, consisting of only three small pieces of meat. Even more surprising, the sausage, an ingredient usually included in a mixed roast, was missing; we were informed that it had to be ordered separately as an additional main course. Arrosticini: The liver arrosticini weren't up to par, with a sour taste that betrayed their lack of freshness. Service and timing: The service seemed slow and inattentive to the needs of the table. The grilled vegetables are a prime example: they arrived significantly late, when we'd almost finished our meal, and they were undercooked (still raw). I'm sad to write this review because this restaurant has always had potential for traditional cuisine, but after this experience, I'm struggling to find the motivation to return. I hope this review helps restore the standards of quality and attention that once characterized this restaurant.

A family-run restaurant that can only be described as excellent. In my opinion, their first courses are unsurpassed, all handmade. The roast meats are excellent, and the arrosticini are delicious. Fabio, Rossana, and the entire staff make you feel right at home. Prices are below average. Just go. It's a shame I can't upload photos of gnocchi with meat sauce and ravioli with sauce via WhatsApp.
