15/09/2025: Never again. Spacious rooms but '70s-style. Unpleasant odors from the bathroom (some rooms still have bathtubs). The real disgrace is the restaurant: the food is better in the hospital. The staff is uninterested and unprofessional. Plus, it's expensive: €100 a night plus €35 for an inedible dinner. A place to forget.

20/09/2025: I ordered the rubber pizzas! And they forgot the little girl's pizza!

10/08/2025: This evening we ordered pizzas but unfortunately they were inedible, the dough tasted like rubber.

17/09/2025: We discovered this pizzeria from an article in the newspaper "Il Mattino." It was described as excellent for fried pizza, so we came to check it out. Don't be fooled by the place, which, I must say, doesn't make you want to sit down. The place is very simple, a little chaotic, stuck in the '70s... but the pizzas and fried foods are delicious and light. The two owners, a husband and wife who serve at the tables, are very sweet and kind. The lady also makes the desserts, which are truly delicious. I recommend the excellent pastiera. I highly recommend trying it to believe it!

23/01/2025: Hamburger meat not good. Chickenburger made with fried cutlet from the worst discount store. Soggy and unsalted French fries. Totally failed. Good pizza and desserts.

11/10/2025: We stopped for pizza; the place was very simple and clean. We chatted with the owner, who was a nice guy. Good pizza, good service.

22/09/2025: La Tavernetta has a rustic, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We enjoyed simple yet delicious lunches, starting with Chitarrine al ragù and meat ravioli, followed by grilled sausages with a side of baked potatoes, all prepared with quality ingredients that are evident in every bite. In conclusion, this trattoria offers a taste of old-fashioned cuisine!

23/04/2025: In questa mia recensione la qualità del cibo(comunque di scarso livello) passa in secondo piano. La prima cosa che valuto in un ristorante è l'accoglienza e sotto questo aspetto La Trappola è uno dei peggiori posti dove sono stato. La scostumatezza della proprietaria è di un livello imbarazzante. Pochissime volte in vita mia ho avuto a che fare con personale di una tale scortesia. Ovviamente non ci metterò mai più piede.

05/03/2025: un piccolo ristorantino che offre cucina locale e pizze, molto accogliente, caldo e il personale è molto gentile. I piatti sono molto abbondanti e ci siamo tornati due volte, la prima abbiamo preso delle magnifiche pappardelle ai porcini e uno strudel e la seconda volta delle trofie con zucca, zafferano, salsiccia, ... tutto davvero buonissimo e ad un costo onsstissimo! ci torneremo.

20/07/2025: One of the worst experiences! Old hotel, room with cobwebs, lights out, dirty sink, and brown drops coming out as soon as I turned on the shower. Never again! On the plus side, the breakfast and clean sheets.

24/08/2025: The property is beautiful, and the owner and staff are incredibly kind! It's definitely a great place to stay in Sulmona.

03/06/2025: Excellent! Location that allows you to relax and dive into the past! Spacious rooms (fra giacomo and fra Pasquetto), comfortable beds and cleanliness everywhere… very friendly welcome! Excellent location, parking in Piazza Vittorio Veneto (porta Napoli) close to the B&B and free, two steps and you are in the historic center … I will definitely return, thank you!

10/08/2025: Not a good experience, dated room, bathroom shutter cord detached from the wall, smell of smoke and food in the corridors, breakfast poor to say the least with a sign at the back low but clearly visible from the breakfast room with scurrilous statements to say the least in response to closing the door.....

14/07/2025: I don't know where to begin with how disgusting this place is. The restaurant is not clean; the tables are covered with plastic and a filthy tablecloth underneath, and then set the table with tablecloths with holes in them. The food is poor, and I think it's even spoiled. An unpleasant odor everywhere. The rooms aren't up to standard. The staff is dirty; one waiter even showed up wearing a filthy apron (and that's a compliment). This establishment should be inspected by the local health authority. The owner is always checking our noses, and he's always the one who gets annoyed if you pay by credit card. And last but not least, we weren't even registered.

17/08/2025: Da Rita Celano. It's not a given in this historical moment to find the kind of welcome and love you find when you step inside Ristorante Da Rita. Carefully prepared food, homemade with love, just like grandma would make it. The first courses are excellent no matter what you choose, generous portions and local ingredients. The second courses are as good as the first courses, as are the side dishes. The kindness of the owners, however, is the true value of this restaurant, which deserves every star possible and more. The pizza is superb and worth a try. Easy to digest, well-seasoned, thin, and delicious!!!! Make a reservation so you don't miss out! Suitable for families with children, who will be pampered like only aunts, uncles, and grandparents can. We just left and are already planning to return!!!! See you soon ♥️ Luca Elisa Edoardo

11/08/2025: Historic pizzeria in the center of Avezzano. Thin, crispy, and delicious pizza. Wide variety of toppings to choose from; calzones and fried foods are average. There are tables both inside and outside the pizzeria for comfortable dining. Overall, I recommend it.
