A truly delightful place. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the service was good and attentive. As for the food, I think there's good room for improvement in some of the dishes.

The service is excellent; the staff are very friendly. They have both sandwiches and a hot meal. We had polenta with sausage in tomato sauce, which was delicious and warmed us up quickly. The temperature was pleasant.

24/01/2026: Sunday lunch, neither good nor bad... the homemade pasta (chitarra) was good, but the toppings left much to be desired: the ragù was nothing special, and above all, if I ordered polenta with tomato sauce and sausage (which cost a whopping €12!), I expected a sauce made WITH SAUSAGE... I can't get a simple polenta with tomato sauce WITH ROAST SAUSAGE CRUMBLED ON TOP!!! UNACCEPTABLE. The service was friendly enough, but I still have some doubts about the difference between the prices listed on the menu and the (higher) ones actually paid at the register.

05/10/2025: I used to come to this place often a few years ago. The service used to be slow, but the price was fair, the portions were generous, and the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service has remained slow and the prices have gone up. I'm giving it 3 stars because, in any case, the various aspects still seem to be balanced. Perhaps, however, with all the other places around Ovindoli, I'm no longer sure whether it's worth making the trip down to Santa Jona.
