22/09/2023: This restaurant is a fantastic surprise. With several great restaurants in Santo Stefano and surroundings, we were lucky to find a table for 5 on a busy Sunday for lunch. Mr Tiziani, the owner, and his great personality, ensures every patron and table are taken care of. Despite the locanda being very busy, we were served promptly. The dishes were delicious (the taglieri di formaggi, lentil soup, gnocchi, chitarrina, arrosto misto, dessert). They have an excellent wine list and we chose Marina Cvetic, one of our all time favorites! The location is quaint, beautifully & tastefully decorated with the traditional Abruzzese touches. We learned that they also offer rooms: this would be a great plus for tourists coming to explore the L’Aquila province wonders. Gracias Tiziano y todo el equipo! Volveremos.
