Appetizers were sparse and sparse, seasoned with 2024-vintage European olive oil, best before 2026, and therefore had very little organoleptic properties.
First courses were well-seasoned but overcooked.
The pasta stuck to the plate despite being well-seasoned.
Given the progress, we moved on to dessert, a Sicilian cannoli. The wafer, instead of being crispy, was moist despite being coated in chocolate.
So, either old or poorly preserved.
The only positive note was the barrel-aged grappa, which had no contraindications.

We opted for a five-course tasting menu: carefully prepared and well-balanced dishes accompanied by attentive service.
It was wonderful to see how dedicated and passionate the young staff were about their work, even when explaining the dishes.
The atmosphere was relaxing, subdued, and calm.
We'll definitely be back!
30/04/2026: A truly excellent experience at Gellius in Oderzo on April 29, 2026. The service was attentive, professional, and never intrusive, perfectly complementing the evening with great balance. The cuisine was top-notch: the risotto, egg, and tagliolini were simply out of this world. The egg, in particular, is one of those additions you should always ask for. The wine pairing was also very successful, expertly chosen and superbly complementing and enhancing each dish. This restaurant is definitely worth returning, even if only to discover the dishes we haven't yet tried.

04/02/2026: An agriturismo with excellent cuisine and very friendly and helpful staff. It was a wonderful experience, and I'd gladly return. The ambiance inside is lovely; although the outdoor dining area is well-maintained, it will certainly be more pleasant in the warmer months.

08/06/2026: My boyfriend and I had lunch here yesterday, and even though it was already 2 PM, we were greeted warmly and with great kindness. We had the tagliata: truly excellent, tender, perfectly cooked, and enriched with arugula and parmesan shavings. We loved the philosophy of the dish, based on simple, authentic food, without too many condiments that overwhelm the flavors. If you're looking for substance and quality, this is the place! Special mention goes to the baked potatoes, which are included with the dish and are delicious. We'll definitely be back!

18/04/2026: Beautiful and delicious! The restaurant is very elegant and the staff is very friendly. The menu is varied and predominantly seafood-based.
The seafood platter as an appetizer is delicious, and the tuna steak is delicious. The only flaw: the portions are small (especially considering the price).

02/05/2026: The raw fish is always top-notch, as is everything else, the service too, and the quality/price ratio is more than reasonable.
13/04/2026: We stopped by during the lunch shift a couple of weeks ago. The first impression wasn't great, as we had to wait a long time to be seen: it seemed like, since we weren't regulars, we weren't welcome.
After that initial hurdle, everything grew: the appetizer was good, the first course excellent, a nice selection of wines on the menu, and attentive, yet warm, service.
I'd gladly return 🤗
