We were pleasantly surprised to find a well-kept place, both in terms of the aesthetics of the space and the dishes, featuring fresh seasonal ingredients and interesting combinations. The staff was young, polite, friendly, and helpful. We'll be back!

23/04/2026: A very disappointing experience. The dishes were simple and banal. A housewife would have made them better. It's a shame I didn't take any photos. I expected much more from the other reviews, and the dishes didn't arrive as I saw in the reviews. The taste was good, but not as exciting, and I assure you, the appearance wasn't like what you've experienced. The presentation was terrible. Plus, it wasn't a particularly sunny day; it was raining in the afternoon, and despite the guests who were there, they still turned on the irrigation. The irrigation turns on at night.

19/04/2026: Lunch for a communion. We were welcomed with a buffet of prosecco and fruit juice outdoors, then we went inside for lunch. There were other ceremonies on the same day, so they were all handled the same way. The food was excellent, in just the right amount, and always available upon request. I'm not sure about the speed; the venue was definitely busy with ceremonies, so it was a bit slow. But everything was perfect, professional, and very elegant.

25/05/2026: I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I arrived and quickly found a parking spot. I called the hotel and the receptionist rushed out and showed me the on-site parking. Checking was quick. The room was spacious and corner-facing with three large windows overlooking the castle. It was a little noisy due to the road and the first-floor room, but by evening everything quieted down. The large curtains provided a good blockout from the morning light, although the morning sun hitting the curtains didn't completely block out the light. Despite the hotel's age, it features a good-quality home automation system. The bed was comfortable and the selection of pillows of varying heights and softness ensure a good night's sleep. The room was fairly quiet. The bathroom was well-equipped. It's a shame there's no shower, but rather a large one with a transparent partition. The breakfast room is on the top floor, a spacious and panoramic room with a wide selection of quality items. I've marked it as a hotel of choice in the area for future stays.

08/05/2026: A very cute, well-kept, and characteristic place nestled against the historic city walls. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable; they even gave us a discount for the somewhat long wait. I only recommend going if you're not short on time, as we were. For the rest, congratulations.

03/05/2026: A truly positive experience. I tried the focaccia with burrata and cherry tomatoes, and it was delicious: fresh ingredients, well-balanced, and with a truly authentic flavor. You can immediately taste the quality of the products. The mascarpone biscuits also surprised me: excellent, delicate, and perfect to finish. Plus, the staff was extremely kind and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. A place I'll gladly return to and one I recommend without hesitation.

23/08/2025: It wasn't our first time at Trattoria Al Boccolo in Castelfranco Veneto, and as always, the experience was a pleasant one. On our way to Valdobbiadene, we stopped for lunch and were greeted by Fabio, who, with his warmth and friendliness, created a truly family-like atmosphere. The restaurant is intimate and well-kept, with soft background music that accompanies the moment without disturbing. We were welcomed with a delicious entrée, then my daughter enjoyed a flavorful tagliatella with ragù, made with love and attention to detail. My wife and I chose the tagliata di Sorana: thin, tender slices, seasoned simply with Maldon salt and Lake Garda oil, accompanied by baked potatoes and pan-fried carrots, all from their own garden. The Ripasso della Valpolicella recommended by Fabio rounded out a lunch that confirms this trattoria as an unmissable stop.

12/04/2026: We were there on March 26th. The restaurant was open, but the kitchen wasn't yet open. Even though we hadn't booked, and since we arrived early, we were warmly welcomed and given the table we preferred. Then the food arrived, and it was good; everyone was satisfied. At the end of the evening, after spending over €300, we asked for a paper invoice for our foreign accountant, obviously to get a refund, according to local law. Daniele (very good) gave me his private cell phone number, willing to help us. The following days, he texted me the owner's refusal. Thank you very much, Mr. Owner, and zero stars to you: your employees' hospitality is fine, but a piece of paper, God forbid!

01/04/2026: What can I say... the best in everything, from the kangaroo food to the sautéed vegetables with an excellent glass of Spanish wine... the tiramisu with fabulous pistachio cream was also excellent... and last but not least, the service, which impressed me even more than anything I've written... truly a gem! Excellent and I highly recommend it.

03/05/2026: I came with my family to celebrate Easter. Many of them chose the Easter menu, but I preferred to order a pizza (they even have vegan options). My family asked me if I wanted a sorbet, which was part of their menu, and one of the waiters was quick to serve me one! They even let me order dessert (TWO slices of panettone with mascarpone cream). The staff was very welcoming. Not only that... they were even funny! It was 3:00 PM (ordering time was over) when I finished my pizza and a relative of mine said I wanted another. The guy who was clearing away the dishes was quick to respond: "Then let's bring a joke right away!" 😂 The service is already the most important aspect of the place, but there was also a decorative egg above our table, plenty of space to walk between tables, and beautifully decorated walls... All that remains is to say, "Well done, well done, well done!" Update 03/05/26: I had lunch with two friends of mine, and the portion of skewers and beef steak was too small for the price. They were the only ones in the room with a small plate.
