15/05/2025: What a sweet restaurant with food that is both considered but unpretentious, and of very high quality. Our server Lorenzo was fantastic. He helped us a navigate the menu, explained the ingredients and prep of the dishes and how they relate to the local environment. My game ragu tagliatelle was excellent as was my wife’s ravioli with nettles in sage butter. We sampled local cheeses, drank a beautiful bottle of wine from a producer 60km away. Ended the meal with panna cotte and homemade amaro. All for less than €90. We will be back and encourage you to go.
03/05/2025: What can I say, I would go there to eat every day because the welcome is really excellent, like feeling at home. As soon as you park in the hamlet you can breathe a beautiful air of tranquility. The dishes are very good and the service very welcoming.

10/11/2025: I don't know if this is a seasonal offer, but I ate the best beef I've ever eaten here. It's worth spending over €70 on that rare Fiorentina steak. The pasta and pizza are okay. If you can't get off the road by 12:00, a minimum 30-minute wait is guaranteed.

23/09/2025: This refuge is located on the upper part of Lake Misurina. A cable car takes you directly to the refuge. There are numerous signs for hiking. You can see the Cristallo peak directly in front of you, along with a beautiful panorama that extends from the Marmolada to the Tofane.

12/10/2025: We arrived at 4 p.m. without a reservation and were served lunch. The waitress was lovely and our food was served very quickly. The place is beautiful and easily accessible from the main road. The food was good and reasonably priced. We appreciate their kindness.
05/10/2025: My wife and I hiked the tre cime di lavaredo loop nearby. We looked at restaurants near lake misurina, Malga Popena was a short drive which was well worth it. The inside is airy w/ a lot of blond wood and alpine decor.
The food was amazing. We had a cheese course as an appetizer then their pasta. Pictured is the view out of the window.

08/10/2025: Truly exceptional. After an hour of twists and turns, we finally found this chalet and smelled the aroma of roasted meat coming from the restaurant.
Stopping and sitting down was a breeze. Local products, well-cooked and accompanied by an excellent wine.
We had a wonderful time.
09/09/2025: The aperitif was expensive and bland, with little Aperol, the tagliata was good, while the baked potatoes were few and salty.

A cutting-edge venue in every way. The food is always fresh and high-quality, and the pastries are also top-notch.
To date, it's definitely one of the best venues in the area.
