10/04/2026: Not much to say. 🤷 It's no coincidence that every time we're in the Sappada area, with family or friends, we happily stop at this place to enjoy excellent quality pizza, served by friendly staff in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere... 😌 Among other things, the pizza is superb, reasonably priced, and the team's smiles are always welcome and free... 😀

02/04/2026: I've only been there once for pizza, so my review is limited, but my first impression is very positive. The pizza dough wasn't burnt, and the toppings were plentiful and tasty. Most importantly, it didn't bother me at night. The service was fast. Prices are in line with a tourist destination like Sappada.

10/07/2026: Quality food in a simple atmosphere. Very good service, and the young, novices are hard at work. Well done, it's always nice to see the new talent at work! Despite the crowds, we quickly found a seat inside.

10/06/2026: No question: a special restaurant. Why? It's somewhat secluded, requiring a bit of time to get there. It boasts a large parking lot, an idyllic location with beautiful and spacious outdoor areas, and seating on the covered terrace. The diverse menu features local dishes as well as fish and seafood, leaving nothing to be desired. The value for money is excellent, and the service is equally superb 😋.

19/07/2026: I recommend the kids' menu (praise be to those who have it!), the delicious pizzas (especially if you like a nice, crispy crust), and the outdoor seating in the quiet square. Fast and efficient service. We visited during a brief stop in Belluno to break up a long journey. We'll be back.

22/07/2026: Stayed in this village for 5 nights and wished we had eaten here more than we did. It was amazing! After two weeks in the Dolomites, staying in heavy tourist areas, Colle Santa Lucia was a beacon of realism, to include this place! For example, we loved the ravioli. One night my wife had the Beetroot Ravioli for just 13.5 euros. It was simply amazing. The very next day we were in a touristy restaurant in Cortina, rated higher than Fursil on Google, and we got the same thing for 20 euros and the quality was not even close! It goes to show that these smaller towns in the Dolomites are here to be enjoyed respectfully as well, and are much better! The service was also fantastic. In America we tip everywhere but this was the first place on this trip that I tipped in Italy. The servers spoke English well so a stupid only English speaking American could order confidently. They were attentive and polite and happy! Please don’t miss this spot. Come and enjoy the sunset. You wont see it, but this post card town has a gorgeous Church on a hill and behind it is a Dolomite peak that, while the rest of the valley is already in Twilight, it glows from the sun still hitting it. Quite stunning, as if the town itself isn’t that without this moment!

27/07/2026: The dinner was sublime, the venison pappardelle was superb, the service was superb and the kindness deserved recognition....it left a very good impression.

15/06/2026: This is THE spot. Reserve a table. Find a date - order the franchicorta. Ask the waiter for recommendations. Enjoy the music. Relax, it’s a small space, I think they call it “intimate” I didn’t take pics of the food - I was too enraptured to do so. Michelin needs to come by Well done to the team at Ariston!

05/06/2026: It was the best choice in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The pasta, gnocchi, steak, and chicken dishes stayed true to the basics but were delicious. Thank you to the staff member for their kindness in greeting us in Korean.

12/07/2026: The restaurant isn't for everyone. Terrible pizzas, and service leaves much to be desired. 2 stars as an incentive to improve. The only positive aspect is the view of the valley when you eat outside. Very reasonable price.

20/06/2026: No available tables on Saturday night, so we got our pizza to takeaway. Both pizzas were lovely and fresh - we got the Tre P and the Inferno, both were delicious but the inferno was particularly nice and spicy. Highly recommend!

05/07/2026: Last night, in the company of friends, I had the pleasure of spending an evening at Deny's pizzeria. The pizzas were delicious, according to my husband (and if he says so, then it's true) and my friends. Thin, well-cooked pizza, rich in quality ingredients. My dish was delicious both to the eye and to the palate. The meat was exceptional, tender and flavorful. The staff was fantastic!!! Courteous, extremely kind, helpful, and very professional. The grill man was meticulously trained and a master of his cooking skills. I even took the liberty of offering them their compliments in person, because they deserve to be appreciated for the work they do with such dedication. Well done everyone, and congratulations from the bottom of my heart!!! If you're passing by, try their cuisine and their professionalism. You won't be disappointed!!

14/07/2026: Very friendly service and a nice location but the food could have been better. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and so was the rest of the staff. Sadly the food to me was alright, we all ordered the caprese and while the taste was okay, the mozzarella was too tough and intense in flavour. We also ordered sn affogato which was a lot better. Other dishes coming out looked great so maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Either way I still believe this place is worth giving a shot, hence the 4 stars!

08/05/2026: Al Crot has been my favourite restaurant in Italy so far. After visiting Rome, Naples, and Florence, this place was truly extraordinary. The service was friendly, quick, and welcoming, even though we don’t speak much Italian. The food was absolutely the star of the show. My boyfriend and I loved every single dish we tried so much so that we came back the next night for dinner just to explore more of the menu. The portions were generous, the flavours were authentic, and everything was genuinely amazing. To top it all off, the atmosphere was cozy, warm, and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Dolomites!

18/10/2025: We are now regular customers. The pizza is very thin, light, with a minimal crust, and very digestible. The staff is always friendly and the place is beautiful.
