09/04/2026: We visited this summer for lunch and reached the refuge following the directions the owner gave us over the phone.
I was with a friend who is celiac, and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the menu also offers many options for this diet.
The owner treated us like friends, and we finished with a grappa and a card game inside when the weather suddenly took a turn for the worse! Truly a great experience, we hope their efforts are well worth it!

23/03/2026: We spent a week skiing at Hotel Stella Alpina in March 2026 and can highly recommend it. It offers excellent value for money, a fantastic location with beautiful surroundings (mountain panorama), and the service (all the staff) is very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻

Rather than the usual pizza, I choose the hamburger from the menu for a change!
The burger (unique flavor) comes with fries.
To date, the best burger I've tasted in the entire Agordino area, a unique delicacy in its simplicity!
Too bad I didn't take a photo, but I was too hungry!
06/04/2026: The pizza is very good, but it's a shame that the place isn't well ventilated and the smell from the oven is very unpleasant and lingers on your clothes.

07/03/2026: I’ve been coming to La Montanara since I was a child. For years and years—decades, really—the quality of the food and service has never dropped, not even by a single notch.
They serve the absolute best pizza, full stop. Their dessert selection is consistently outstanding too.
The food is always brought to you by the kindest, most genuine, and loveliest people, and the overall vibe is just beautiful.
As long as this restaurant stays open, I’ll be coming back for their pizza for the rest of my life.
23/02/2026: Friendly staff, clean environment, and the pizza we had for dinner was good; it didn't result in a night spent hanging out on the tap, so all in all, I'd say it was all good! It's a place I'd return to, and try the food as well, not just the pizza. I should add that for two out of three dinners during our short vacation, we chose "pretentious" restaurants that absolutely didn't live up to their promises. This place, however, is a mid-range establishment that does its job very well at absolutely fair prices.

Agriturismo Ristorante Piccola Baita

05/10/2025: Yesterday, my husband and I went up to the cabin for the first time. First of all, there's free parking for a camper, which is a big plus. The path and road are a bit steep. It's worth the effort to reach a wonderful place where you feel at home. The owners' hospitality is like family, and the chef prepares simple dishes made with love. I recommend checking them out; we'll be back.

24/12/2025: Very simple hotel. Simple but good food. Very clean rooms and facilities. Parking available, pets allowed. Fair value for money.
17/12/2025: I come back here every year and recommend it for the friendly and helpful service, clean and well-kept rooms, and as for the location, the ski bus stops right next to the hotel.

12/09/2025: A beautiful mountain hut, renovated from many years ago.
The garden is immaculately kept and the 270-degree panorama is mesmerizing.
It's a shame that when we arrived at 3:45 pm, they were almost out of coffee...but no big deal...
The final stretch of the trail is wide and well-maintained.
The first two-thirds, starting from Barezze, are decidedly challenging: narrow, muddy, and sometimes not perfectly marked.
At a medium-slow pace and a few stops, the climb takes an hour and a half...
The descent is a little quicker.

07/12/2025: Excellent pizzas, well-cooked and carefully topped with fresh ingredients, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
It's a shame the poor visibility hinders it, but it's worth a visit. The burgers are also good.
