02/02/2026: I stumbled upon it purely by chance during a motorcycle ride with my girlfriend, where we tried both the gelato and the fritters, and to top it all off, the pizza. I have to say, everything was amazing, and the staff is truly friendly.

01/02/2026: Mid-afternoon, we were craving gelato, and while searching, we stumbled upon this gelato shop. Spurred by the good reviews, we decided to give it a try.
The place is small but well-kept, with a well-organized counter.
The lady at the counter was super kind and helpful; we even asked her for information, and she was quick to offer advice.
We had two gelato scoops, large scoops, and the flavors we liked best were pistachio and coconut milk, truly superb.
We tried the fritters, which were delicious, and the pizza with pancetta, peppers, crispy onion, and a sauce—a top combination, truly delicious!

24/03/2026: Partially disappointed with the way they served the Ugo. A reputable restaurant should monitor the ingredients used. They can't use rotten mint leaves. They replaced them but tried to justify it by saying the leaves were oxidized.

03/07/2026: I've been going to this restaurant at least 4-5 times a year for a few years.
Nice place, friendly staff. Good wine, simple appetizers, and excellent wild boar and lamb.
Normal prices.
I recommend it.
26/06/2026: I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of my expectations.
The owner was far too present throughout the dinner, constantly talking to the tables and making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal. Furthermore, it was unpleasant to witness the constant shouting at the waiters and chef in front of the customers, creating a tense and unprofessional atmosphere.
I was also disappointed by the value for money: the prices are very high compared to the quality of the ingredients and dishes served. To make matters worse, the air conditioning didn't seem to work, making the place very hot, and I felt the cleanliness could have been improved.
Finally, I found the owner to be unfriendly. Overall, based on my experience, I wouldn't return, and I expected a much higher standard, especially considering the prices.

04/07/2026: Charging 4€ for the table setting - for the waiter doing his job is bizarre :)
They brought us bread in a paper bag - hard.
But the food was delivered quite quickly, but there was nothing special. The menu was not particularly varied or interesting.

Rifugio Bruto Carestiato

28/05/2025: Valida meta finale per una passeggiata davvero per tutti. Con un percorso di circa una ora tra boschi e belle vedute si raggiunge, dal Passo Duran, questo rifugio, frequentatissimo anche perché da qui si possono fare poi anche tante altre escursioni. Il sentiero di andata è in gran parte (soprattutto quella iniziale) in salita. Non ci sono tratti pericolosi ma richiede un minimo di attenzione, specie la salita iniziale attraverso i prati dove il sentiero, in periodo piovosi, può risultare un po’ scivoloso. Il ritorno può essere effettuato utilizzando la ‘strada’ riservata ai mezzi del rifugio, che è un po’ più lunga ma vi consente di fare un percorso diverso da quello di andata con viste differenti. Al rifugio trovate snack dolci e salati oppure il servizio ristorante. Il luogo è accogliente, le tavolate all’aperto invitano al relax e alla sosta consumando qualcosa. Io opto per un panino con il pastin e un bicchiere di vino bianco comune. Resto soddisfatto, la carne è ottima. Un unico appunto: io avrei gradito il pane un minimo scaldato. Magari non lo hanno fatto per fretta, oppure non lo fanno per sistema ritenendo che non vada fatto. La mia valutazione personale è però che con il pane scaldato il panino si valorizza molto di più.
