03/03/2026: The atmosphere was beautiful and meticulously maintained, the restaurant excellent, and the staff friendly from start to finish. The welcome at reception was excellent, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the young lady who greeted us.

Unfortunately, the food was a bit too much on the experimentation side and half of it was really good and half of it didn't really work unfortunately. We were really looking forward to this place so it was a bit unfortunate in the end, especially considering the price of being there.

23/03/2026: Let me start by saying that I hate not being able to choose what to eat, and therefore the tasting menus. Therefore, when I booked, I made sure they offered the à la carte menu. As soon as we entered, we were seated in a cozy common room where we were literally forced to order an aperitif. Our neighbors tried to decline, asking directly for a bottle to accompany their meal, but they were denied the option! Not wanting a spirit as an aperitif, we were forced to opt for a very expensive champagne (€35 and €50 a glass), accompanied by a series of small appetizers that, truth be told, we didn't request. My husband raised some valid criticisms about the much-vaunted €50 glass, and the sommelier blamed the type of glass... Finally, we sat down at the table and asked for two glasses of red to accompany our choices. We were offered only one option and no price was given. Finally, the food arrived, which was undoubtedly high-quality. I understand that making ends meet with only ten tables in Cortina isn't easy, but certain "forced" arrangements are ultimately unpleasant. Having a star doesn't justify any policy that limits diners' freedom of choice.

26/03/2026: Good food, tranquility, courtesy, fair prices, I wrote just a few years ago... Today, years after the first hasty review, 7 years have already passed since then I feel... and when for a long time I had already frequented the place with brothers, relatives and friends, and today I feel and it seems right to update that first review: I begin by saying that they are always nice, attentive and helpful, it is a place I love, tranquility and a wide air in that environment, the food perhaps not starred or award-winning, but always good and with good quality products; and they always have a special eye for my Billà, my dog ​​caregiver who has been my life companion for years. They know it and cuddle her every time, it's the thing I appreciate most, so I feel like thanking them publicly because it's not for everyone, other places frequented for a long time, for this reason, since our pets are not even accepted, with signs posted saying no to the request, they haven't seen me for a long time.. (Or rather they don't see us, since I'm usually never alone and those who accompany me share choices, ideas and sacrifices, I have special relatives and friends, and I'm proud of it! If I'm alone, however, I plan to go back home for lunch if I really don't have to stop around, being always conditioned by that four-legged caregiver of mine, so thanks to those who support me.. and also put up with me, thank you family of Limana Park in this case.. My advice? Stop there peacefully, even for the pizza., it's worth it. 😁

21/12/2025: I stayed at the Hotel Venezia this year in August, and despite the season, the prices were affordable and fair. The rooms are modern and spacious, the restaurant is excellent and the service is very fast. The pool and sauna area are very comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend it.

08/05/2026: Al Crot has been my favourite restaurant in Italy so far. After visiting Rome, Naples, and Florence, this place was truly extraordinary. The service was friendly, quick, and welcoming, even though we don’t speak much Italian. The food was absolutely the star of the show. My boyfriend and I loved every single dish we tried so much so that we came back the next night for dinner just to explore more of the menu. The portions were generous, the flavours were authentic, and everything was genuinely amazing. To top it all off, the atmosphere was cozy, warm, and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Dolomites!

02/05/2026: The view is magnificent, but the first impression is of a bit of neglect, with services included. The dining room, however, is beautiful, with a spacious fireplace, open-plan rooms, and comfortable furnishings. The service...men first, then women, but not always... Sauvignon A.A. from where? Well, on the label it says "near Garda"?! (That's true, the company, not the wine)... find out first! Bitter escargots: mallow and absinthe, but why?!? "Oriental" rice with finger-squeezed lime, overcooked, lacking in character, crispy lasagna, dry and tough, good scallops, and salmon too—your expectations are severely affected by reality. The bill is a Michelin-starred dish, but the star... I thank the chef who came to the table and offered a tasting of his exquisite wild boar salamis.

05/05/2026: The bill included a coperto (table setting charge), yet we weren’t even offered а water. The “special pizza” was frankly just a joke - more like a silly sandwich, 90% leavened bread with no sauce at all. They don’t serve any seasonings or even olive oil with balsamic vinegar for the pizza, which is something normally expected in any Italian restaurant - but of course, the coperto is still included :)

My partner's pizza was also very well received. The Guinness was also excellent, well-served and a truly enjoyable drink. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. A very positive experience, highly recommended.
