14/12/2025: Excellent experience for a business trip. Excellent breakfast, friendly and knowledgeable staff. This will definitely be my go-to place in Belluno.

26/11/2025: Update, November 23, 2025: We finally managed to stay at this fantastic hotel. We had a wonderful time with our eight-month-old baby. The room was always super cozy, with all the amenities and comforts. The breakfast was truly excellent, with something for everyone, both sweet and savory. Overseen by the excellent Marco in the restaurant (and all his staff), as well as by the kindness of Marco at the front desk and the wonderful Mrs. Wanda. The price was truly competitive for a 4-star hotel with a convenient location for the beautiful Dolomites. Update, October 24, 2025: I stand by everything I said in my first review and add the kindness, courtesy, and patience of Mrs. Wanda, who assisted me with the booking and everything else. Very helpful and wonderful location. Thank you. 2019 Review Impressive and hidden location. It feels like arriving at a French castle. A delight to the eye. Spacious room. With a couple of minor flaws. 1. No nightstand on one side of the bed (ok if I'm alone, but two... One has to make do) 2. A fairly outdated TV with many channels blocked. 3. It takes a scientist to study the lighting control unit. And the air conditioning. Apart from these points, everything was fine. Jacuzzi shower, bathrobes, slippers, and everything else that makes it a ****. Free and fast WiFi. Smiling and pleasant staff, especially Marco in the restaurant, who prepared two superb eggs. With the help of his colleague Matteo. Even the ladies at reception smile and help the guests. I will definitely be back.

23/12/2025: The regular pizzas are thick and very large. While the ones they consider small are still generous. If it weren't so far from home, I'd go there much more often. The pizzas are good.

21/01/2026: Ski chalet lasagne is the best skieal, and theirs is tops. Table-side ordering and table service, inside and out, mean no cafeteria line.

04/09/2025: The food was simple, very well priced and delicious. Who I assume is the owner works hard and it really shows. We came at peak lunch hour and she was so efficient with service and making everyone welcome. She even took the time to explain the menu to me despite how busy it was - and it was just her handling the front of house! Very warm and welcoming. Even the loo was thought out with a lot of care and nice touches. A great place to grab a quick bite and the compact menu changes all the time so you get great food but variety too. I paid €14 for a salad, bread, water, meal and espresso. It was a proper experience of casual, efficient dining - inside or out as they had seating outside with umbrellas. Strikes me as a bistrot with lovely details in both decor and even the music. And I made my flight with time to spare. Perfect for an affordable meal, especially if you don’t have loads of time. When you see regulars you know you found a good place!

03/01/2026: Terrible service. We found a seat in the cold, then we moved inside and ate standing up. It wasn't clear where to order, and they'd serve a paper menu. There was a sheet of ice on the floor, and we slipped.

01/02/2026: The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a pleasant, family-like feel. The ingredients were excellent, but the dishes failed to showcase the pairings, remaining unconnected for both appetizers and main courses.

21/10/2025: For a pizza specialist, they were really not very good. You can tell that the products are not very fresh. The calzone was very rounded but in the end a little burnt on top and not really tasty inside. The dough is much too thin. In short, we were not convinced by the food but we really liked the house chardonnay and the service.

12/10/2025: Very friendly and attentive staff. The wait is not long. They brought bread while we waited without even asking, but still charged for it. Apart from that, no other complaints. The food was good and satisfying. The price was reasonable as well.

20/10/2025: I returned after about 15 years, and I must say that the wonderful and unforgettable memory I had was fully confirmed—indeed, surpassed—by this new experience. Everything was perfect: from the warm welcome to the sincere smiles, from the impeccable professionalism to the exquisite dishes, meticulously prepared down to the last detail. The excellent wine pairings were also excellent, making the long lunch a truly special experience. 02/01/2026: Wow, just wow. We came to this restaurant, a bit away from the city center, to celebrate New Year’s Eve, and from the very beginning the experience was outstanding. The staff, and who we believe to be the owner, treated us with incredible kindness and respect. We arrived earlier than our reservation time and were welcomed with open arms and a complimentary welcome cocktail. We started with a few appetizers, followed by an ostrich dish that was excellent. For the main courses, the risotto with caviar and salmon was absolutely outstanding, as was the loin with foie gras and black truffle. The food was exceptional, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the warmth, charisma, and genuine humanity of the service. To top it all off, when we couldn’t find a taxi to return to our hotel, the husband of who we believe was the owner, also the chef, kindly offered to drive us back himself. It was without a doubt the most human and caring service I have ever experienced. An absolutely amazing place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This is the first time I’ve ever given a restaurant five stars, and I’m incredibly grateful to have spent New Year’s Eve here with such an amazing team.

31/01/2026: A small, excellent, old-fashioned mountain pizzeria with a wood-fired oven and bar. It offers a wide variety of pizzas to suit all tastes. Very friendly staff; I recommend booking via WhatsApp or by phone.

30/01/2026: Very good pizza, I took it, not my taste but I recommend it, I am a fan of Central European flavors, the name of the pizza: Romano or something similar, I recommend it ;)
