01/07/2026: This isn't just a bakery: it's an institution. The first thing my grandmother asked me on the phone was, "Did you go to Fiori for bread and apple strudel?" I think that says it all about how much of a landmark this place is for anyone passing through San Vito. A historic place that, unlike many others, has managed to maintain a strong identity over time without compromising on quality. The strudel is simply exceptional, the bread is exquisite, and every product exudes care and tradition. The selection is truly remarkable: in addition to the bakery, you'll find sweets, deli products, fresh produce in the refrigerators, and countless typical Dolomite specialties. Whether you're a tourist seeking local flavors or a resident looking for quality everyday products, it's truly difficult to leave here empty-handed. Making the experience even more enjoyable are the friendliness of the staff, the organization, and the speed of service, even at peak times. Fiori's fame precedes it, but once inside, you immediately understand why. It's one of those places that tells the story of the territory as much as the mountains that surround it ♥️

27/08/2025: This was the best Rifugio we stayed at during our Alta Via Hike. It is technically little off the route, but is definitely worth the detour. The room was spacious, compared to many others we experienced. Since they can accomodate only about 10 people, there is a very cosy atmosphere. The staff was very kind and the dinner was by far the best. It was also possible to order from regular menu, since they host other customers. I cannot recommend it enough :)
21/08/2025: We hadn't booked, but the girl found us a table for two (so far so good). We waited 25 minutes before they asked us for drinks.
Another 10 minutes for the menu.
But despite this, the dishes arrived fairly quickly.
The prices were quite high, but good.

05/06/2026: We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved everything about Fiori Dolomites Experience Hotel! Service staff were polite & friendly, room was clean & cosy, breakfast was delicious and the afternoon snack was such a delightful treat. We hope to be back next time! :)

25/07/2026: This is such a lovely place, great food - we had salads, pizzas and pastas - a very friendly staff, always willing to accommodate the requests from customers, and reasonable prices. Lovely terrace, with a beautiful view of the dolomites. We can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks!

Truly excellent gelato...
In the summer heat, it's nice to sit outside, and even if it rains ☔, you're protected by the covered terrace.
Reasonable and not overpriced prices.
Suitable for all ages, including families.
Whether you're in San Vito di Cadore on vacation or just passing through, this place is worth a stop. Definitely worth returning to...

20/07/2026: A charming spot surrounded by nature! The location is idyllic and the food is delicious. I chose gnocchi and for dessert, milk ice cream with fruit and honey—both exquisite. The service was excellent, very friendly. 100% recommended.
18/07/2026: Amazing restaurant with delicious food, friendly and accommodating staff set with an amazing backdrop.
We spoke very little Italian, the staff took their time in explaining all the dishes which we appreciated. We went with their recommendations and were pleasantly surprised, would highly recommend this place even if you have to drive! Will definitely visit again!

When asked to turn the volume down, the owner reacted very rudely. Big ego!

15/07/2026: This was probably the worst customer service I’ve experienced at any restaurant.
From the moment we walked in, our waitress was rude and unwelcoming. She never smiled, never greeted us, never said thank you, and every interaction felt short, curt, and dismissive. We had to ask for menus multiple times before receiving them, and throughout the meal no one checked on us or offered another drink.
When it came time for dessert, I asked for a dessert menu three separate times. After waiting over 40 minutes without anyone returning to our table, we finally gave up.
When I mentioned the poor service, she told me to “look around” because there were other people in the restaurant besides our group. While I understand restaurants can get busy, that’s not an excuse for being rude or ignoring customers. Throughout the evening, I also witnessed her raising her voice at other members of our group over various small things, which made the entire experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
Before leaving, I politely suggested that she should be kinder to the people who come to the restaurant. Her response was shocking: she said, “I’m not here to be nice to people.”
Great food can never make up for service like that. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately, that was completely missing from our experience. I would not return or recommend this restaurant based on the service alone.

29/03/2026: Excellent food, fresh ingredients, and homemade desserts. Good wine list. Attentive and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for the ingredients. I gave 4 stars and not 5 for the atmosphere because it could be improved and a few things revamped, not for the rest, which was all excellent. Congratulations!

05/01/2026: A very disappointing New Year's Eve experience. The price paid was significantly high for the quality of service and food. Due to delays in the organization, the dishes were rushed to serve before midnight, compromising the overall experience.
Furthermore, the menu didn't reflect the menu specifications: the artisanal panettone filled with Chantilly cream, included in the price, was never served, and instead, a pandoro arrived that didn't match the description.
Overall, the value for money was unsatisfactory, and the experience didn't live up to expectations.

27/12/2025: Terrible organization! People exhausted by queues, unclear information, double lines, and unclear payment terms. As a true Cadore native, I bring tourist friends to our valleys and I make such a fool of myself. They're right that Trentino is better. Think again, guys, and change jobs.

Hotel Alemagna Restaurant

Hotel is located precisely as per the G Maps, with a friendly staff! They let me check-in prior to the slotted time, I did write to them to inform about my early arrival. The location is 3-5min walk from the bus stand San Vito Centro bus stop and hence very accessible.
The room had sufficient amenities for a solo work traveler, as I spent most of the day on work! The bedding is comfortable, the room temperature is well maintained, the 2 windows allow ample light during the day and open up to magnificent views of the mountains! The washroom has a good shower, continuous hot water at any time of the day and decent toiletries - shampoo, soap, shower caps and a hair dyer too! A very important inclusion is the bidet which is a savior for non-European travelers!
There are 2 thermostats, one in the washroom and other near the bed to help you with maintained temperature and possibly drying purposes as well.
There is also a chair and table for working, WiFi connection is decent, the storage space is excellent, you even have a safe which is great! Overall the room has sufficient items but can be cramped for space if there are 2 people staying. It’s just enough for 1 person.
The breakfast spread is decent, variety of spreads and breads, fruits are fresh! Eggs were my savior, cold meat, cheese and cereal were always there! Would’ve loved a hot breakfast item too. The coffee is wonderful though, for a non-coffee drinker, I had a cappuccino every day for the entire week that I stayed.
Overall if you don’t get to stay in Cortina and want an option nearby, SanVito is the next best! I have heard of the Ski ranges in here but couldn’t try. Maybe next time.
P.s: the hotel will charge a city tax which is always added during checkout as a policy.

19/06/2025: Pizza da asporto con mozzarella di bufala all'uscita. Impasto sottilissimo (più di un cracker). .Presa da asporto ,arrivata a casa (a pochi metri dal locale) già fredda.
3 pizze del genere da asporto per un totale di 30 euro.
Un furto!
Assolutamente da evitare.
