18/05/2025: There are places where you go simply to eat and others where you gladly return to be pampered and spend an evening in tranquility and serenity, Penacio certainly falls into the latter category... well done to all the staff, always perfect

16/05/2025: We had a great time! We requested a table for two to celebrate the fact that my partner and I are getting married in exactly one year, and they welcomed us very well. The food was excellent and the service attentive. I recommend ☺️

20/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la Santa Cresima di mia figlia a metà maggio. Siamo stati veramente benissimo! Dal nostro arrivo con l'aperitivo all'aperto fino alla fine del servizio in sala siamo stati seguiti da Giorgia insieme ad Angelica. Sono state entrambe gentilissime competenti e disponibili ad esaudire ogni richiesta che abbiamo avuto durante la serata. I piatti preparati da Ermanno erano strepitosi e hanno deliziato il palato di tutti i nostri invitati sia grandi che piccoli. La sfoglia di primavera con gli asparagi buonissima, il risotto con Casatella ed erbette spontanee delicatissimo, il maiale 12.78 si scioglieva in bocca, un sapore unico ad ogni boccone. Abbiamo gradito molto la particolare attenzione che è stata prestata a chi aveva intolleranze o specifiche esigenze alimentari e l'uso di materie prime senza lattosio. Un ristorante ma soprattutto uno staff e una famiglia eccezionale! Complimenti a Ermanno Duska Giorgia e Angelica e a tutti quelli che, anche se non visti, hanno collaborato con loro per rendere speciale la nostra serata!

20/05/2025: We celebrated my daughter's Holy Confirmation in mid-May. We had a really great time! From our arrival with the outdoor aperitif until the end of the service in the hall we were looked after by Giorgia together with Angelica. They were both very kind, competent and available to fulfill every request we had during the evening. The dishes prepared by Ermanno were amazing and delighted the palates of all our guests, both young and old. The spring puff pastry with asparagus was delicious, the risotto with Casatella and wild herbs was very delicate, the 12.78 pork melted in the mouth, a unique flavor in every bite. We really appreciated the special attention that was paid to those with intolerances or specific dietary needs and the use of lactose-free raw materials. A restaurant but above all an exceptional staff and family! Congratulations to Ermanno Duska Giorgia and Angelica and to all those who, even if not seen, collaborated with them to make our evening special!

07/06/2025: Outside was full so we sat inside - nicely air conditioning. Very friendly helpful staff. We shared a mixed salad - fresh & tasty. Then shared the seafood risotto which was delicious & full of baby clams & white fish. Highly recommend thank you

11/05/2025: The entrance to the restaurant is a little hidden, a place away from prying eyes. I had an excellent dinner: normal portions, I didn't find them small, good presentation of the dish. I'll be back. May 25 Revisited, modern/elegant environment, soft seats. I came back and really enjoyed the egg with parmesan, bacon and toast; the cannellloni and anchovies are not bad, all accompanied by an excellent wine. I'll be back.

09/05/2025: Discovering this restaurant was a wonderful surprise! I ended up there by chance, given the good reviews and the strategic location, close to the center but away from the chaos and with convenient parking. Well done guys, I will definitely be back!

05/06/2025: Everything is very good, both lake and sea fish, super friendly, helpful and competent staff. I recommend it, it is not a tourist place.

02/06/2025: We booked here after talking to locals. A place close to the center with friendly and professional staff. Excellent and abundant dishes, we would have also tried a second course but we didn't manage it. Kindness is the master, they offered us a glass of rosé and entrée, much appreciated and for the children a glass of orangeade ☺️ For the 2 year old, pasta for only 5 euros, a very fair price, but no restaurant understands this anymore. We spent for 4 eating 2 first courses, a second course, a pasta babi and half a liter of prosecco, water and cover charge about 75 euros. Very fair and very little compared to other restaurants in the area where you spend more and eat badly

15/04/2025: Place to try! Very nice and good, large variety of sandwiches, bagels and avocado toast! I recommend it especially for lunch.

10/06/2025: Been traveling in Italy for almost a month now and this was without doubt the worst meal ever. The bread was not even fully fermented so you would be having raw dough. Baby octopus was so salty that we had to stop eating half way through. Over priced as well. Avoid at all cost.

10/06/2025: One of the tastiest pizzas I've ever eaten. Prices are quite reasonable. The staff are very friendly. You can either sit by the canal or take the pizza to go. The path in front of the pizzeria is very busy in the evenings. Overall, a highly recommended to-go pizzeria; I would order from there again.

15/05/2025: Breakfast in this charming place with four tables for sharing a coffee. Very good coffee and cappuccino, pastries also reasonably priced for the heart of Verona. Warm decor featuring advertising boxes and local products. Friendly welcome. We had 1 coffee, 2 cappuccinos, and 2 croissants for €8.40.

18/05/2025: Finally last night, we managed to try this pub, after trying to go several times. In fact, I recommend booking at least a day in advance (but even earlier to be safe). We tried the chips with the skin, the classic chicken wings, the pulled pork bites and two of their sandwiches. The price may seem high, but it is actually fair both for the quantity of the dishes and for their goodness. Different beers, with a good variety, especially among the bottled ones. Food rating: 5. The service was always attentive and kind, without ever being too invasive. It was a service that makes you want to go back even just for their staff, especially the gentleman who was behind the bar. Service rating: 5. The place is small, but very well decorated. As soon as you open the door you feel like you are teleported into a typical English pub. The music is not too loud, so it is possible to converse, without shouting, but with an appropriate tone of voice. Ambience rating: 4.5. Final rating: 4.8. Fully recommended and we will definitely be back.

07/05/2025: During a holiday on Lake Garda with my wife, we decided to try this Pub, a small place, furnished in English Pub style, wide choice of sandwiches and beers, very friendly owner. We both take a Britannia burger + blonde beer recommended by the owner, fantastic sandwich, among the best ever eaten, excellent beer too, costs adequate for the quality.

07/06/2025: We were looking for a place to have a drink, and Google led us to this place. A great, positive surprise. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time, and the cocktail was also delicious and super balanced. You can tell they love their work and pay attention to the details. The place is very pretty inside, and the terrace is fantastic. Highly recommended if you're visiting Verona.

03/05/2025: We were at Toni di Gusto on a Saturday evening, we were a group of 19 people and despite the short notice the service was excellent, the food was of high quality and the environment was very pleasant (we were sitting outside). I liked the consistency in the choice of simple but healthy and tasty cuisine, from cicchetti to dessert. Not recommended if you love commercial drinks, no coke here!🔝
