05/06/2025: While on holiday in lake Garda we found this little restaurant ,down a quieter side street in Bardolino . With tables and chairs set out on the pavement and lovely outdoor lighting it was the perfect spot for dinner , nice and quiet . The food was amazing , the fresh fish from the lake was delicious as were the pasta dishes and desserts . Lovely Bardolino wine and great service from our waiter Sacha. We liked it so much we went back three times during our stay !

26/05/2025: I was keen to visit this restaurant after reading the write ups on Tripadvisor. The restaurant is situated in a quiet street off the lakeside prom and most people travelling up and down this street are heading for this restaurant. We found the welcome a little strained with the waiter not seeming to understand that we wished a table for two. Not being huge fish enthusiasts we found the menu a tough task. My wife settled for the Tuna salad and I went for the Maccheroni Radicch. Both were acceptable but would hardly tempt us to return. Along with a glass of rose wine, a media birra spina and two cover charges our bill came to €46.50. The other waiter we encountered was a better communicator and did thank us as we left. Maybe we made the wrong choices but would not hurry back.

25/05/2025: Mai in vita mia sono stato maltrattato in maniera tanto spettacolare da un ristoratore. Ho prenotato un tavolo per 3 adulti e 4 bambini, concordando peraltro la serata più tranquilla possibike onde creare al ristoratore il meno disagio possibile. Arriviamo puntuali alle 19 e ci mettiamo a tavola. Ci servono il primo e sin lì tutto bene. Passa oltre un'ora e il secondo non arriva. I bambini iniziano ad agitarsi e io porto fuori il più piccolo per cercare di calmarlo. Poco dopo esce mia moglie per avvertirmi che avevano già chiuso la cucina e non avrebbero servito il secondo. Erano le 20:23. Mi sono ritrovato con quattro bambini urlanti, una moglie diabetica in ipoglicemia e un ospite alla quale avevo peraltro cantato le lodi di questo posto per tutta la settimana. Nonostante ciò mi hanno presentato un conto di ottanta euro, come se avessi consumato la cena per intero. Sono inorridito dal trattamento ricevuto e mi mancano le parole per esprimere la miserabile e orripilante serata passata in questo posto.

25/05/2025: Never in my life have I been treated more poorly by any establishment of any sort. After serving me the pasta, I was left waiting for an hour. It is worth mentioning that we booked for 7 p.m. I was later informed, at 8 p.m., that the kitchen eas closed. I was left eithout main course with four children and a diabetic wife with falling blood sugar. I was then presented with a full bill as if I consumed every course. I am beyond appalled.

16/05/2025: I came back after many years, and I was really surprised. Everything is taken care of in the smallest details, from the shiny cutlery to the real flowers on the table. The service is fast and of a truly rare kindness, the waitresses in fact pamper you, they are smiling and professional. The food, what can I say, top quality!! absolutely fair prices. Well done, well done well done.

15/05/2025: Passing through for work we enter this restaurant, they make us wait very little on the menu you can choose between beef and colt. My colleague and I choose a beef fillet excellent tender cooked perfect. Fair price for the quality of the food.

11/06/2025: Many have already written that you eat well, I can only confirm, very good meat at the top! The quality/price ratio is important but for those who travel and often have lunch and dinner alone there are also other aspects to evaluate... feeling almost at home is not something that happens often. The place was full and obviously I hadn't booked, it was worth the wait. Thank you for the attention you showed.

08/06/2025: I discovered this place by chance and finally today we went! Well what can I say everything AMAZING. From the aperitif to lunch the staff welcomed us and served us with disarming kindness, all the love and commitment they put into what they do shines through. We had the honor of eating unique dishes, decisive but delicate at the same time. The owner also recommended we eat snails (a first for everyone) and they were delicious! The thing that made the experience even more suggestive was the choice of the table enclosed in a niche that "pampered" us for the whole lunch. We can't wait to go back already! Thank you for everything, it was wonderful!

02/06/2025: Arrived with 2 small children in an attempt to find something but there was no place, in reality there was a table but they didn't want to give it to me, while a couple who arrived 5 minutes earlier they put it on a table for 4. It was enough to move them and we were all happy. Instead they sent us away. Terrible, I won't go back

02/06/2025: Mi ha portato qua un’amica . Non me lo sarei mai aspettato trovare un posto del genere in centro a Marostica. Beh che dire sono rimasto davvero sorpreso, cominciando dalla location che è bellissima !! C’è una zona al chiuso più invernale credo e poi un bel pezzo fuori in un cortile ombreggiato e davvero molto molto carino !! Il cibo è spettacolare che dire noi abbiamo preso vari piatti e non ce n’era uno non buono !! Complimenti davvero era tutto molto buono dal fegato alla ciaglia alla trippa !! Ci tornerò sicurante !!se volete pranzare o cenare bene a Marostica non fatevi scappare questo locale . Personale attento e gentile . Conto ottimo !!noi abbiamo speso 28 a testa con acqua vino vari antipasti divisi un secondo a testa caffè amaro

01/06/2025: We went for dinner and were very satisfied. The tavern is located at the entrance to the village, less than a minute from the famous chessboard. Inside they have a small courtyard overlooked by a creeper, very suggestive. The menu includes traditional Venetian dishes: prices range from €10-13 for first courses and €11-17 for second courses. The service was really fast despite the amount of people present. The owner was really kind, he even offered us liqueur. I recommend booking, there are two time slots: from 7pm to 9pm and then from 9pm to closing.

Great experience at Parparo Vecchio: the tagliata was tender and tasty, while the vegetables looked like a painting because they were so well-prepared and well-presented. Don't miss the dessert "Amor di Polenta", truly exquisite. The place is quiet and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed lunch. Attentive and fast service, with friendly staff. Excellent quality-price ratio. Recommended!

29/05/2025: This restaurant really made dinner a tasteful experience for us, the dishes are few but very well taken care of in the choice of dishes and combinations. The dish that I really enjoyed with great pleasure is the zabaglione millefeuille truly spectacular. The atmosphere is very soft, welcoming, refined, the tables well spaced, Pico noise in the room, background music, candles lit, grazing light but illuminates well. The staff is very friendly. Absolutely to recommend

31/05/2025: We arrived in 5 people at 10:30 pm, a time when many restaurants already start to close... but here we were welcomed with great courtesy and availability! The staff was kind and attentive from start to finish, without ever making us feel rushed, on the contrary: at 11:30 pm they were still asking us if we needed anything. The food? Simply delicious. We tasted, samosa, pakora, shrimp, spinach and potatoes, lemon rice, vegetable rice, mushroom rice, naan. Everything fresh, well cooked, full of authentic flavors. The bill absolutely adequate for the quality, quantity and service. We will definitely return and recommend it to those looking for a true Indian cuisine experience with a rare welcome to find.
