22/08/2025: I'm not an easy customer (lactose intolerant + pregnant 😅), yet every time I go here they always manage to spoil me: cooked just the way I want, hassle-free substitutions, and tons of attention. The team is super helpful, and you can tell they have passion and genuine care for their customers. Top-notch ingredients, always interesting options, and that touch that makes you say, "Okay, I'll definitely be back!" 💕 I'd happily drive 40 minutes for them. In a word: in love! ✨

13/10/2025: Fantastic restaurant out of the city center (probably need a car to get there). The food is remarkable (Michelin award), the restaurant is very nicely decorated and the service is fast with a smile. Our waiter answered all our questions. The food is typical Padova food. Don't miss the papardelle with duck and the Galina. Or the pasta fagiolis and the liver (both restaurant traditional dish). The dessert elwas excellent and so was the wine (pinot Nero). Highly recommended. Too bad they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday or we would have returned.

13/10/2025: 5 Stelle – A Heartwarming, Delicious Lunch! Our lunch at Ristorante Boccadoro in Oltre Brenta, Padova, was pure joy. With friends and business partners, we savored the incredible tagliatelle al ragù d’anatra—rich, tender, and a huge hit, even with our toddler daughter, who ate every bite with a grin.The pasta al pomodoro was vibrant and classic, and the tiramisù was heavenly. Warm, rustic ambiance and kind, attentive service made us feel like family. Affordable (mains ~€15–€25) and unforgettable—Boccadoro is a gem we’ll return to soon. Grazie!

Pasta al ragù per il bambino con all’interno un filo di metallo probabilmente lasciato da qualche spugna usata per lavare le pentole, visto ad occhio nudo appena portato il piatto. Tagliatelle con spezzato di manzo immangiabili, l’unico gusto che si sentiva era il rosmarino. Pasta scotta. Gnocchi al ragu’ d’anatra dove il ragù in realtà era mantecato. Petto d’anatra dove l’unico gusto che si sentiva era la salsa che sovrastava qualsiasi altro sapore. 110 euro in 3 per aver mangiato in modo terribile. A mai più!

14/07/2025: We stayed at this agriturismo for only two nights, but everything was top-notch. The location is perfect for visiting the parks, the rooms, and the breakfast were all fantastic. The owners were welcoming and discreet, the food was excellent, and we'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

06/10/2025: We went to the Arche restaurant in Verona for lunch, having missed our favorite spot. The place is nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations. Overall, a decent experience, but not up to the reviews we'd read.

The meat was served raw, and we had to ask for it to be cooked twice. One of those times, it was still undercooked. We believe this needs improvement.

Frequently underwhelmed when eating out in Italy as the food is often overhyped. So pleased to say that this experience was to the contrary. Recommended, and will definitely return when next in beautiful Verona.

We had guests who even ate three slices!! 😊 Everyone complimented us on our choice! The gluten-free and lactose-free options were also excellent—truly, truly superb! Not to mention the pastries, which our guests described as "superior in quality to the others," were a huge hit, and everyone ate them! Thank you so much for helping make this day special! Everything was truly delicious; the guests loved it, and so did we, the bride and groom. 😊 Congratulations indeed!

28/08/2025: I took a four-day surfing course. It was a great fit for my level, and I learned a lot. Now I feel more confident on my own. 😊 We also went sailing with a skipper for two hours. Very enjoyable and well-informed! The center is really great because you can try out so many things there, and the spot is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's also a restaurant with delicious food.

27/08/2025: Massive thanks to the team at Windsquare Watersports for helping us get a great sail on the Hobie Tiger F18. John really couldn’t have been more helpful — great communication and absolute enthusiasm for sailing (and that’s from the perspective of being an RYA dinghy instructor myself). The F18 definitely needs some prior experience if you want to sail it without an instructor, but the team can get you to that stage if that’s what you’re aiming for. We sailed three-up as a family, and between us have many decades of sailing experience. We all agreed that the sail on Garda with the F18 was one of the best sails we’ve ever had! Windsquare is a fantastic place to go for all levels of instruction and hire on Lake Garda. We researched carefully before we went and absolutely made the right choice. Now keen to do some more F18 sailing...it really is a buzz! (BTW reading a review below...we waited during the morning until John thought conditions were right as there was thunder and lightning brewing...we were more than happy to take his advice; they are the experts on what's happening on on the lake and it's a really nice place to hang around anyway + with the free parking)
