10/06/2026: Super welcoming place, with knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful staff. You can choose from a wide selection of beers (and more!), plus great food and music. You can also get your beer bottled on the spot. There are always some really interesting events going on, I absolutely recommend it ☺️☺️

10/05/2026: The restaurant is pleasant and the service is friendly, but the spaghetti with clams for €18 was disappointing: there were about 10 shells on the plate, only 7 of which actually contained clams. I mentioned this at the cashier and was simply told they'd report it. It's a shame, because from a restaurant of this caliber, I expected more generosity on the main ingredient of the dish.
03/05/2026: Good morning, on 02/05/2026 I went with my wife to Al Gambero for dinner, everything was fine, the staff were absolutely friendly and efficient, the polenta with creamed cod was excellent, the tagliolini with truffle was the same, I will definitely be back with my wife and children, the staff were very friendly!

05/07/2026: Honestly the best food I’ve had while in Venice. The peppered mussels and clams were delicious; they were nicely seasoned in a savory sweet tomato based broth and the bread was amazing. The spaghetti lobster and seafood delicacy was out of this world, the squid was cooked to perfection. I believe there is no true 10/10 but gosh darn this was the closest I’ve had so 5/5 stars. The tiramisú was the perfect way to end the meal.
05/07/2026: It's always difficult to choose where to eat in a city like Venice, where you have to be very selective about prices. We went for dinner on a weekday, and although the restaurant was near St. Mark's Square and there were many customers, the service was impeccable. The fish was fresh and flavorful, and the frying was very light. Thank you so much for your service, and especially to Aurora, Ale, and Lirim. We will definitely be back!

14/07/2026: First dinner and meal upon our arrival in Venice! The waiters already stressed me out by coming four times, with only 30 seconds to a minute between each order!! I'm in tourist mode and I just arrived, not even time to read the menu...plus I'm with children, so we'll take the time to read it...anyway...apart from the squid ink pasta, which my daughter enjoyed, the rest was both bland and tasteless...€3 per person (€12 total) as a service charge...welcome to Venice. After the meal, I went to get a kebab pizza in a nearby alley. Oh yes, the ice cream sundae came from the ice cream parlor next door, and again, the portion size needs to be reduced... Thanks to them, I only looked for takeaway pizzas afterward to save money...

The staff was very kind and spoke excellent English and an excellent and clear list of allergens. Many gluten free and dairy free options. Can get busy, so it is advisable to book a table

20/07/2026: One of the highlights of our trip to the Veneto region was our meal at Ristorante Le Corderie di Mauro Drago. The food was fresh, seasonal, and absolutely delicious and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. Thank you to Chef Cristina and Mauro for making our meal so special. It was memorable. We hope to return soon. Special mention to the best tiramisù we had in all of Italy 🤩

From the first moment, you can tell the place is top-notch, very top-notch! From the details, to the decor, to the staff's image.
Super friendly and attentive, never intrusive!
We had a wonderful evening and the food was divine! From the raw seafood platter, to the linguine with sea urchins, and the signature dish—and I mean, the tuna rib! (Devastating)

24/07/2026: Me and my friends had a lovely time at Da Lauro on Tuesday. Antonio who was servicing our table was very attentive and very fun to interact with which made our stay that more memorable.
Overall the food and drinks were great, especially the grilled meats although the desserts could be a bit more interesting.
One of us even got a small Vitello Tonato sample portion after they had ordered another dish after debating on what to choose for their course. On top of that we were offered to taste all kinds of local Grappas on the house after our dinner, which was a nice touch.
Outdoor seating is in a lovely inner garden.
