The setting alone is breathtaking: Villa Bardini sits high above Florence, with gardens that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream. But it is what happens at the table that truly defines this restaurant. I chose the nine-course tasting menu, and from the very first bite, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. Each course was a story in itself, balancing artistry, innovation, and deep respect for Tuscan tradition. The pacing was flawless, the flavors precise, and the plating so beautiful it felt almost criminal to disturb it. Standout dishes included a course that reimagined seasonal vegetables as if they were jewels on the plate, and a main that struck the perfect harmony between rustic soul and modern finesse. Desserts were whimsical yet elegant, a finale that left me smiling like a child. The wine pairings were masterful, elevating every course without overwhelming it. The sommelier’s knowledge and warmth made the experience all the more personal. And I must mention the staff: attentive without being intrusive, passionate without pretension. They guided me through the evening with such care that it felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a world designed to delight every sense. 10/09/2025: Excellent gelato, it's a regular stop every time I pass by. Very friendly, reasonable prices. Excellent quality ingredients, never boring flavors, and the milk tastes delicious. You can tell it's handmade, so don't go anywhere else! Highly recommended!

It was a feast for the senses: the atmosphere, the ability to talk at the table, the owner's advice when serving you... and above all, the quality of the food. I really enjoyed the dishes. Incredible vegetables, delicious stewed meat, and delicious crostini. 😍 Because it's far from Spain... hahaha, otherwise... I would go here for dinner at least once a month.

20/09/2025: One of the most amazing dinners I’ve ever had. It was my partner’s birthday and the service was unbelievable. The food matched the experience and was the best meal we had on the holiday.Our waiter Alfredo was excellent, very attentive and went above and beyond to make our night special.

21/09/2025: I had the salted caramel and pistachio gelato on a small cone. It was affordable and high quality. It is the best gelato I have ever had, and I say this as someone who worked in a gelato shop for 5 years, and tasted the San Gimignano championship gelato.

14/09/2025: Vegan restaurant, absolutely delicious, I wouldn't have thought it would. For example, the ragu in the pasta tastes like it contains meat. The hummus is fantastic. The hamburgers (just saw them, haven't eaten them yet, but they look good) are planned for a second visit. Reservations seem to be a good idea. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Everything was fine, very good. And the interior is absolutely stunning and stylish!

14/09/2025: Dining at Essenza has been a dream for me ever since I accidentally saw a video of a vegan influencer I've been following for some time and who had lunch there. From the images, I already knew it would be a special experience, but the reality exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is beautiful: you feel safe and at home, the decor is simple but meticulously curated, the selection of paintings is stunning, and the enormous bookcase in the dining room is fantastic. I'm already accustomed to the tastes of vegan cuisine, while my parents were new to it but they had a great time. I enjoyed a fantastic cecina served with two excellent sauces: spinach and peanut butter, an excellent tempeh, whose bold acidity was expertly modulated by the accompanying vegetables, and a delicious raspberry cheesecake. Let's just say that, of all the dishes I tried, the dessert was perhaps the one that impressed me the least because I didn't love the flavor of the crust, but the cream was amazing! I'd also like to mention the great selection of organic wines and soft drinks, which, if I'm not mistaken, are also available for purchase, like many other products. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. P.S. I also want to point out that my mom had left her glasses on the table, and shortly afterward, I received a call from the restaurant staff to let me know they'd forgotten them. Aside from the fact that this thoughtfulness and courtesy aren't typical of everyone, we returned the next day and even admired their breakfast bar... out of this world!! Go there... even if you're an omnivore! You might change your mind ;)
