30/04/2026: A beautiful place to stop for a delicious icecream. They have a super clean bathroom too, perfect for tourists, frequented by all the local childten after school.

20/04/2026: One of the best gelatos in Pisa! The flavors aren't many, but they're all perfectly prepared, with top-quality ingredients. You can taste the pistachio grains, and the chocolate has a rich, pleasant flavor.

30/04/2026: I hadn't been there in 10 years, since I was young, and after going out dancing, I used to stop by here before going home. After being there recently, the quality and the location have improved. It's a shame they don't have them in Pisa. The Piadona we have on the Lungarno isn't quite up to par. The filling is thin and the price is quite high for what they offer. It's certainly good, but you need two.

20/05/2026: My wife and I went here for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff was very kind. The food was excellent. Both the first and second courses were prepared with great care. The quality and price were good. I highly recommend it. We'll be back!

03/06/2026: Delicious pizza, delicious Aperol (only €3), and all this in the heart of Lucca, in a lovely square. Cool water sprayed from the parasols to combat the heat, and the food arrived in less than 15 minutes. Matias served us and was very attentive and thoughtful; all in all, a very enjoyable stay!

02/06/2026: Beautiful restaurant in the center of Lucca. Booking was quick and easy, and Filippo was extremely kind and helpful from the first moment. The dishes were truly excellent, with meticulous attention to both presentation and flavor. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening, making us feel welcomed and at ease. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return next time. Highly recommended!

11/06/2026: A great pizza place where a handsome staff member welcomes you with a smile! It's a small shop, but the pizza is delicious and they are really friendly! I got takeout and came to Michelangelo Square to watch the sunset!

21/05/2026: Great wine bar/ restaurant across the river from the Uffizi. Outdoor terrace with views of the river. Did not eat there but enjoyed the wine and very good value. There is a fantastic shop attached as well with a vast selection of wine. Highly recommended.

04/04/2026: My hotel recommended this to me, I had my doubted but delightfully found that I was not disappointed. My server provided excellent service and the steak was cooked rare though not chewy. Had a bottle of the house Chianti and was great to wash down the steak with. Spent 50 Euro on myself and was completely satisfied!

14/02/2026: We arrived at the Locanda on a rainy day. We were greeted by a very kind waitress, who seated us and showed us the handwritten menu. All the dishes were typical local dishes, seasonal, and reasonably priced. There was a limited vegetarian option, but the farro tagliatelle with radicchio and walnuts was delicious, although I would have preferred it to be cooked longer. The second room has a very large window overlooking the countryside. A pleasant lunch in a very well-kept setting.

17/05/2026: Beautiful location! My family and I often come here for a snack or lunch. The schiacciate are huge and filled to perfection! The only downside is the staff who serve you. They seem to be constantly annoyed, and the answers they give when you're unsure of what to add to your schiacciate are truly rude.

15/03/2026: We visited in mid-March, on a Sunday for lunch in the enchanting San Miniato. The restaurant is beautiful and bright, with large windows overlooking the splendid valley. The wait staff is fabulous, attentive to every need, always kind and professional. It's really hard to express anything about the dishes because they were all so good, with well-defined yet delicate flavors that combined to create a symphony that is hard to forget. High-quality, seasonal ingredients that showcase the local produce. We tried the land tasting, and our 13-year-old daughter was won over by the bottega with dried tomatoes and guinea fowl, duck, and rabbit ragù. Finally, the chef, a wonderful person with kindness in his eyes, was a pleasure to thank for the wonderful lunch. I recommend going, even more than once, to explore the various menus. It's a place that exudes simple, elegant cordiality.

03/05/2026: A very beautiful and welcoming place, the decor is meticulously maintained. The service was impeccable, and the staff were highly trained and meticulous. The open kitchen is beautiful, showing the care taken in preparing each dish. We had an excellent steak for two to share; it was cooked rare as requested, and the meat was of excellent quality. The only thing I would add would be flaked salt to further enhance the meat. Finally... the coffee menu is a great idea. For anyone in the area, I highly recommend a lovely dinner accompanied by a good wine.
