I went to this restaurant last night and was truly satisfied. The place is very welcoming, with attention to detail and a warm, relaxing atmosphere: the style evokes the sea and tradition, with simple yet distinctive decorations that immediately make you feel at ease. The food was truly delicious and arrived promptly, without too much of a wait. I also really appreciated the fact that, in addition to bread, they also served focaccia, a simple but truly pleasant detail. A huge compliment also goes to the waiters, who were excellent, very kind, and always available. Even though we arrived late, they greeted us warmly with a smile, making us feel welcome right away. Besides being very professional, they were also friendly and attentive throughout the evening. A truly positive experience, one of those places worth discovering and where you'll gladly return.

We arrived without a reservation, and the staff was incredibly kind, seating us right away! We missed a cacciucco to share, a mixed fried fish dish, and two side dishes. Everything was really good! If we return to Livorno, we'll definitely stop by Gennarino's to eat here again.

Regional dishes – specializing in fish – beautifully presented. We had cacciuccati, cozze ripiene, spaghetti al ricco (sea urchin), tagliatelle all'astice (lobster), and sgroppino for dessert... friendly, natural service and prices commensurate with the quality. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent food and an extremely welcoming atmosphere. Even though it was a holiday, they let us continue lunch beyond our usual time, which isn't a given these days. Highly recommended for a day out with friends...we'll definitely be back!

21/02/2026: A top-notch pizzeria. A tidy place with a relaxing atmosphere, a spacious back patio, and pizzas made with five different doughs, all available—and for that alone, it's truly outstanding. My partner and I tried two different doughs and two different pizzas (vegan with charcoal dough, and cooked with mushrooms and spicy salami with chia and seed dough). Both pizzas were exceptionally well-balanced, with top-quality ingredients, generous toppings, and perfectly cooked. The crust alone could be a superb schiacciata: flavorful, with just the right consistency, alternating crispiness and elasticity. In short, everything was truly perfect. I wanted to post a photo of the pizza, but by the time I remembered I had to make it, I'd already finished it... Congratulations, well done!

07/06/2026: Excellent food and quality ingredients. Impeccable and always very friendly service. The staff are always friendly and patient. Unfortunately, they've raised the prices too much, and for some dishes (wild boar Suveretana style, for example), they've reduced the portions. Even the house wine, from local producers, while still excellent, is perhaps a bit too much at €20, and for a dinner for two, it weighs heavily on the total bill. Alternatively, a €6 glass... just a couple of fingers' worth of wine is enough for a taste. Luckily for the owners, the place is always busy; especially foreigners and Americans, they have no problem leaving a generous tip. We'll definitely be back, but even our Italian budget has its limits, and unfortunately these places are increasingly less affordable.
02/06/2026: Young, competent, and extremely friendly staff. Excellent location with lovely outdoor tables overlooking the village. Delicious dishes, especially the wild boar. Congratulations! We've been here before during a holiday weekend, and it's once again an excellent choice. Well done. Highly recommended if you're in the area. I recommend booking because the area is very touristy, and it's not always easy to find a table on weekends.
