Helpful and pleasant staff
The location is fantastic: having lunch in the ancient amphitheater of Lucca is worth it

31/07/2024: Great food. On busy afternoons service is a little slow. Meats are well prepared.
31/07/2024: The food is excellent in this family-run restaurant. When we pass through the area at lunchtime we stop because it's worth it. Each time we take half a portion of pici each (this time with duck ragù) and then a 1kg grilled rib eye with baked potatoes and vegetables. Definitely recommended!

31/08/2024: The lady that served me was amazing. Very helpful and kind when ordering, and after scooping out my gelato with a big spoon, went back with a tasting spoon to pick out the chocolate pieces and hazelnuts to put in my cone.
Gelato itself was amazing too! Great selection of flavours.
Cone and gelato are all gluten-free.

02/08/2024: I stayed for 10 minutes looking at the sandwiches because I had no idea what to have, the menu was very well stocked, in fact too much, very varied and particular sandwiches with different recipes, none of which were trivial. Friendly staff, excellent prices, excellent for a quick lunch.
25/07/2024: Delicious sandwiches, I took the 19th and it was really good! Fresh beer, friendly and fast service, tables outside, music from the radio. Everything excellent! I will definitely come back

25/08/2024: I ate from their truck at the party in Misano Adriatico and I was amazed by the goodness of their sandwiches. We took the pulled pork (€10) and porkosity (€12) and both were perfect, they melted in your mouth. Highly recommended!
24/08/2024: Only very good burgers. Nothing exceptional as a place given that it is in a not exactly beautiful area of Arezzo, but a clean, well-kept place and friendly staff.

Ho mangiato crostini al lardo, bucatini alla corsara con ragù di pesce in bianco e un baccalà fritto e poi marinato in salsa ristrettissima di pomodoro e aceto. Tutto ottimo, ma sinceramente vorrei mangiare quel baccalà ogni sera per un mese.
Bevendo acqua e birra ho speso €35, prezzo onestissimo.

22/08/2024: Very nice place on the port, you can sit in the front row sitting just a stone's throw from the sea or in front of the restaurant. All really kind guys and with a nice smile on their faces which is sometimes not so obvious on the island of Elba. Really well made cocktails that are accompanied by really good things and with a small contribution you can also request a platter. Relaxing aperitif recommended!

15/08/2024: The receptionist didn't even say hello to us, she was more pleasant with European people than people of color. The pasta was okay but on the other hand the rabbit was dry and hard (inedible), the eggplants were made with oil… to be avoided

27/07/2024: Regular experience. My mother ordered a pasta with prawns that looked overcooked and we feared the worst for the next day. The octopus also smelled very strong. With the number of options there are in the city, I do not recommend it.

21/07/2024: Caffè Rainer is an absolute gem! I had the pleasure of enjoying their freshly baked desserts every morning, and each visit was a delight. The desserts were not only delicious but also very reasonably priced, making it a great spot for a daily treat. Their iced coffee is simply amazing and quickly became my go-to drink. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make the experience even better. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Caffè Rainer!
