24/04/2025: Good pasta, very al dente! Unfortunately it was very windy here when I was there. You had to eat quickly and there wasn't much time to linger because your fingers also got cold. But the service was very friendly and the hut is in a great location in the middle of the Italian slopes. So pay with euros.
17/04/2025: We passed by this restaurant because it looked nice.
We waited 45 minutes to eat dishes we hadn't even ordered.
Furthermore, they arrived cold and the lasagna was inedible.
Instead of the spaghetti carbonara we ordered arriving, the penne all' angera arrived!!!
Indecent!!!!
Disgraceful service.
The owner looks like he came out of a Tso.
Terrible experience.

It is true that getting the raw materials here is expensive, but the quality ratio is terrible.
Single dish (see photo) and unique in every sense because there was no other choice, 25 euros: decent stew, reheated polenta in blocks, reheated mushrooms, all in the microwave and even lukewarm. Two single dishes, 1/4 of wine on tap, 1 coffee 59 euros.
Very poor cleanliness and hygiene, unkempt place, we ate outside where nothing was taken care of.
The lady who served us was not at all helpful, she is surely aware of the fact that in such a hidden place you end up once and that's it and then it's the only place...... shame though that she doesn't take into account the bad publicity that can be given to it.
In conclusion BETTER A SACKED SANDWICH!
01/06/2025: I don't understand who says high prices; you are in the middle of nowhere so you have to calculate that carrying on the activities in these places can be expensive... and you by consuming you keep these small village activities going. Anyway we had a snack with 1 hot chocolate, a plate of delicious homemade biscuits, 2 genepy, 1 coffee 12 euros.

26/07/2025: Decent enough food and service, but me oh my are these guys charging absurd prices. In what universe is a coke €6?? Insult to injury with the €3/person Coperto and €5 for flat water (we were not asked on size or quoted price).
Maybe our fault being in the more touristy area, staff and food were nice enough so if money’s no object give it a shot. If you’re a fellow monetary mortal look elsewhere.

16/08/2025: The bed was awful and the room was not very clean.
04/06/2025: Not a good experience.
The woman at reception was not very welcoming.
I had asked for a room with twin beds, but only a room with a double bed was provided, even though I booked well in advance.
The door to the ensuite didn't close properly.
One of the shower doors seemed ready to fall off.
There was an issue with payment and their first action was to threaten me with the police. The issue was settled within 20 minutes, but their confrontational approach left a very sour taste.
Also, it is not cheap. I have stayed in better at lower cost.

13/07/2025: Had a quick breakfast: 1 coffee, 1 cappuccino, and 2 croissants.
The croissants weren't good.
The price was expensive, I'd say. €10.50!
And it's not about being in Courmayeur... it's about being honest with fair prices for what you get.
I'm sorry, but I don't recommend it.

29/07/2025: Con amici e due famiglie abbiamo trascorso una, tutto sommato, piacevole serata in un ambiente vivace ma non eccessivo nella rumorosità. Abbiamo preso un tagliere misto da condividere dalle dimensioni generose ma dalla qualità che mio giudizio non rende giustizia all'offerta locale di affettati /formaggi: varietà sicuramente si meno nel gusto dove a fatica si riusciva a distinguere le differenze. Polenta concia ne ho mangiate di migliori. Tutto sommato tenuto conto dell'ambiente in stile vivace e movimentato la varietà dei piatti (anche se non esemplare, va detto) e i prezzi alla fine non altissimi (tenuto conto che siamo in una zona Premium) è comunque una opzione da non scartare .
29/07/2025: Ottima cucina e cameriera molto gentile e professionale.
Posto molto carino con un bellissimo dehor.
Consigliatissimo.

13/08/2025: After a morning of trekking, we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The simple yet charming setting perfectly complements the rustic feel of the place. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, and the food was simple but high-quality. The price was reasonable for the service provided. All in all, a place I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
31/07/2025: I really like receipts, why don't you issue them?
However, the owner is very rude and doesn't let children play.
The price is high for poor-quality products.

15/08/2025: "I went to Bar Mafrica and had a cappuccino and a cream brioche. The cappuccino was cold, as was the brioche. The quality was poor, and I paid €6, which I think is too much considering the quality. I strongly advise against it."

15/06/2025: During an aperitif with friends, the manager tells me in a really rude way to let a lady into his place (I was actually standing in front of the door of the place).
Moving away, since in 45 years of life I have never received such treatment, I ask him to moderate his tone and in response he assumes a very threatening attitude like a suburban bully, leaving the people present shocked.
Truly shameful behavior

19/05/2025: We stopped at this bar/restaurant for a break, very distracted service and when it came to ordering we were sent to that country just for asking for what we had ordered
26/04/2025: Small restaurant/bar at the 2nd middle station to Testa Grigia. The price is quite a bit more expensive than on Plan Maison, but still affordable. Drinks are rather expensive (0.33 l Cola can 5 euros. But everything has to get up here somehow. The staff is friendly, but there are queues that stretch through the restaurant. So you sit directly in a queue inside, outside it's ok. Inside there is a serviced area with a handful of tables, which is looked after by a waiter. Since you sit here surrounded by the self-service tables or the exit to the terrace, it's not necessarily comfortable. But there isn't more space. Nevertheless, the staff really do their best Effort to make the stay pleasant.
