Relais St Gilles In Verrès

We stopped here because it was on the way; it was a test, and it went well. My friend was hungry, and the focaccia with Parma ham and 30-month-aged parmesan shavings—what can I say? Try it and believe it! My friend left licking his lips and with a never-ending smile. I only had a coffee, served hot and espresso-style, just the way I like it!

Coming from Imola, we stopped by chance while waiting for the restaurant where we had booked to open.... We drank an excellent glass of wine from the Piacenza hills accompanied by the always welcome Parmigiano Reggiano... Only to discover that the owner is an F1 fan, in particular of the Imola circuit and of the driver Gilles Villeneuve, hence the name of the restaurant... It was a short but truly pleasant stop!
