06/06/2025: Auch mit sprachlichen Hindernisse haben wir das bekommen was wir gern wollten. Es war eine Speck und Käseplatte mit Delikatessen und eine Erläuterung gab es auch dazu. Alles einheimische Produkte und für zwei Personen völlig ausreichend. Wir haben sogar noch ein leckeres Eis bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und auch der Koch hat sich erkundigt ob alles nach unserer Zufriedenheit ist. ( was er bestimmt nicht in der Hauptsaison kann, denn dann hat er einiges in der Küche zu schaffen). Die Hütte ist klein, aber Mann kann je nach Saison draußen, drinnen und im Pavillon sitzen. Wir können es aus guten Herzen empfehlen und wünschen dem Personal alles alles gute. Bis bald mal wieder.

31/05/2025: Piccolo ristorante affacciato sul lago di Lod. Bella la posizione, offre tavoli con vista lago. La polenta concia era pessima: la polenta senza gusto e collosa, e concia non si può proprio dire! Peccato che i prezzi sono alti!

15/03/2025: Really enjoyable meal. May not be on the main strip, but possibly the best pizza in town. Very welcoming and would be on our list for our next trip to Cervinia

15/03/2025: We went to the umbrella bar and after waiting for half an hour to try and be served we left and went elsewhere. There was only one person serving who favours the groups of guys who are sat around the bar and buying shots etc. If you haven't got a seat at the bar you stand no chance of getting served. Previous years the umbrella bar seemed one of the places to be for apres ski, this year it wasn't very busy at all which made it all the more frustrating that we didn't get served. Disappointing as we would have probably ended most days here if the service was better and it wasn't left for one person to work the bar at apres ski

27/04/2025: Siamo stati nell'ultimo fine settimana della stagione invernale, a ridosso della chiusura degli impianti, infatti non tutto il menù era disponibile, tuttavia la qualità dei piatti disponibili è stata indubbiamente ottima. Personale molto accogliente e gentile, camera piccola, comunque confortevole, bagno grande e comodo con il doppio lavandino. Posizione strategica, panorama davvero incantevole a 360 grandi, vista sul Cervino mozzafiato. Decisamente consigliato.

21/04/2025: Esperienza rustica e piacevole questo pranzo in famiglia in una giornata nevosa che sconsigliava di sciare. Così dopo una passeggiata in salita di una decina di minuti su sentiero innevato siamo stati accolti (previa prenotazione) dalla baita Cretaz. Per i piatti abbiamo trovato interessanti sia la focaccia calda che la raclette fusa in un caldo tegamino. Come primi saporiti i ravioli al ragù di cervo e delicati gli gnocchi con la fonduta e la nocetta. Buoni anche lo strudel e molto gustoso il millefoglie scomposto. Il giovane personale di sala, coordinato dalla gestione, molto cortese ma con qualche ingenuità. Comunque un’ottima soluzione anche per un pranzo provenienti dalle adiacenti piste da sci.

08/02/2025: great little hotel,friendly and attentive service.breakfast good,evening meals excellent.Close to main gondola.Possibly could with a bit of modernisation but who wants to stay in a soulless standard fit hotel ? Good value for a twin room week long stay

02/05/2025: Mi sono seduto su una sedia o con tavolino alle 13.30, giornata soleggiata il due maggio nel dehor del lovale. Avrei voluto mangiare una focaccia o un toast. In 25 minuti sono uscite pii o meno 3 cameriere per servire gli altri tavoli (3erano occupati e quindi stavano consumando) gli altri tavoli tutti liberi. Mi hanno visto credo per almeno 6 volte, non mi hanno degnato di uno sguardo. Forse pensavano che fossi li per errore, invece volevo proprio... Mangiare... Forse per loro è strano... Semplicemente incompetenti! Ah, alla fine sono andato a mangiare in una trattoria vicina

02/04/2025: Pernottavamo c/o un Hotel inizio paese, e notato il locale nel pomeriggio abbiamo provveduto a prenotare telefonicamente per la cena. Assolutamente soddisfatti sia dalla cortesia di chi ci serviva, sia dal titolare che si adopera a seguire direttamente in cucina le ordinazioni, colgo l'occasione per salutarlo e ringraziarlo per il trattamento, e la cortesia indicandoci anche su nostra richiesta, dove prendesse il formaggio per il locale. Tipica trattoria di zona come piace a noi (alla buona e come è giusto che sia in determinati luoghi di montagna), servizio veloce con proposte del giorno, con piatti tipici a voce non a menù, e devo congratularmi per gli ottimi piatti. Abbiamo preso tagliere misto con salumi e formaggi ottimi, un piatto misto con cervo in salmì servito con polenta, una trippa ed un primo con pasta al ragù di cinghiale, accompagnato da acqua, ottimo vino della casa, bibita, 3 dolci ottimi fatti da loro, un caffè ed una grappa, ad un prezzo letteralmente in linea con le portate ordinate. Consigliato vivamente.

18/01/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per il compleanno di mia figlia "CELIACA "è loro fanno parte del circuito Aic,quindi sicuramente in quanto a sicurezza sul cibo siamo andati benissimo. Abbiamo mangiato bene e inoltre ho chiesto una torta che è stata realizzata proprio dalla cuoca semplicemente fantastica ! Addirittura hanno fatto trovare un piccolo ma bellissimo mazzo di per mia figlia, cosa assolutamente non prevista ma molto gradita .Ho voluto scrivere questa recensione perché sono persone che ti ospitano nel loro ristorante con una gentilezza e una cura per i cliente che si vede raramente. Complimenti e grazie mille

12/03/2025: lo trovate sulla strada per andare a cervinia , in questo antico forno servono delle ottime focacce decisamente da provare, sono particolari e gustose. birre artigianali presenti. servizio impeccabile e gentile. Ci sono anche piatti caldi (zuppe - trippa ...) location da montagna e soprattutto prenotate se volete trovare posto nei week end .

24/02/2025: Piacevole scoperto dopo 40 anni che ci passo davanti ci siamo fermati sia a colazione che merenda Vasta scelta di dolci e salati i dolci sono spettacolari torte e monoporzioni Una lode al gelato fatto assaggiare dal titolare al quale auguriamo il meglio per la sua gara

24/04/2025: Good pasta, very al dente! Unfortunately it was very windy here when I was there. You had to eat quickly and there wasn't much time to linger because your fingers also got cold. But the service was very friendly and the hut is in a great location in the middle of the Italian slopes. So pay with euros.

17/04/2025: We passed by this restaurant because it looked nice. We waited 45 minutes to eat dishes we hadn't even ordered. Furthermore, they arrived cold and the lasagna was inedible. Instead of the spaghetti carbonara we ordered arriving, the penne all' angera arrived!!! Indecent!!!! Disgraceful service. The owner looks like he came out of a Tso. Terrible experience.

01/06/2025: Yesterday I was quite disappointed! The quality has dropped, the meat reduced to "strips" seemed like leftovers full of nerves... The image on the menu did not correspond at all to what I was served! Also, cook the aubergines well, because half raw are bad for you... 😪

19/05/2025: Oggi sono andato con dei familiari a mangiare Avremmo tanto voluto provare la carne peccato che siamo venuti già 3 volte in cui la t bone, la costata e la ribeye mancavano completamente Personale gentile nono stante sia sottopagato e lo so da fonti ormai esterne al locale (i due ragazzi in sala biondini molto bravi complimenti) per il resto non tornerò più

20/03/2025: Visited while in ski holiday , 2 adults & 3 kids. Realised we had been here 3 years ago when we last visited La thuile. They’ve renovated the dining room a lot so it’s really nice looking. Way more modern in style. Staff are so friendly. Wine list is good value. Food is very simple. Lots of pizzas which are good. Lamb chops are nice, 5 chops. Tagliata is nice too, but rocket was very limp. Sirloin steak good too. Overall meat dishes are nice, not amazing but that’s ok. Tiramisu was superb

08/03/2025: We noticed really quickly after we arrived to La Thuile that you need a reserveration. But the host offered us really quickly a take away alternative which we thought was a great suggestion. So 4 !!!! minutes wait - not more - not less - and we walked away with our very tasty veggie pizza. Great alternative!

29/04/2025: I just asked politely if there was a bathroom and he gave me a speech about respect as if I had insulted him... I have no words

27/04/2025: We stopped for a coffee and a bottle of water. Unfortunately we didn't have cash with us and we took out our card to pay. The guy who did the calculation began with: "If I had known before I wouldn't have given you the coffee" And after our sorry and after apologizing with: "yeah... do you mind... you should have at least 5 euros" and then with "I practically gave this to you". We could have easily gone to withdraw if he had been kinder and shown us a nearby ATM but apparently he was more focused on answering badly. Extremely rude.

24/05/2025: Price at the cappuccino counter €2, price at the table €4.50. If you ask for a glass of water they give you a 0.25 bottle, price €3 I would say beyond excessive, to be taken for a ride.

21/05/2025: Excellent lunch in a place where everything closed (Came on May). The price was excellent and the guy gave further 6 EU discount.

04/03/2025: Una sera abbiamo deciso di prendere 2 pizze da asporto e sperimentare questo posto. Mai decisione fu più azzeccata. Noi, amanti/adoratori della pizza ne abbiamo mangiate poche buone come queste. Ricca di ingredienti, cotta al punto giusto e il cornicione, friabile, gonfio ma non è diventato molliccio come quello delle pizze napoletane. Siamo tornati il giorno dopo per complimentarci coi ragazzi ma era giorno di chiusura, peccato, se lo meritavano proprio! Speriamo leggano la nostra recensione. Da ritornare a occhi chiusi.

08/06/2025: TO AVOID It is true that getting the raw materials here is expensive, but the quality ratio is terrible. Single dish (see photo) and unique in every sense because there was no other choice, 25 euros: decent stew, reheated polenta in blocks, reheated mushrooms, all in the microwave and even lukewarm. Two single dishes, 1/4 of wine on tap, 1 coffee 59 euros. Very poor cleanliness and hygiene, unkempt place, we ate outside where nothing was taken care of. The lady who served us was not at all helpful, she is surely aware of the fact that in such a hidden place you end up once and that's it and then it's the only place...... shame though that she doesn't take into account the bad publicity that can be given to it. In conclusion BETTER A SACKED SANDWICH!

01/06/2025: I don't understand who says high prices; you are in the middle of nowhere so you have to calculate that carrying on the activities in these places can be expensive... and you by consuming you keep these small village activities going. Anyway we had a snack with 1 hot chocolate, a plate of delicious homemade biscuits, 2 genepy, 1 coffee 12 euros.
