Licone In Cogne

Excellent for aperitifs, lunches, or dinners! Very friendly staff.

I arrive in Cogne for the first time, greeted by vast green meadows and stunning mountains. I instinctively choose to have lunch at Bar Licone. It's a beautiful, intimate, and welcoming place. Craving pizza, I choose the Delicata from the white pizzas: excellent dough, generously topped with mocetta, goat cheese, two types of lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. Full and satisfied, I browse the menu, intending to return to try other dishes. And indeed, I spend the week having lunch or dinner here. The staff are kind and smiling, and above all, empathetic, an essential quality for those in this profession. I notice that the girl making the pizzas is wearing a mask. I've never seen that at other places. They take hygiene very seriously here, and the place is spotless, including the restrooms. Four-legged friends are welcome. Finally, they have a beautiful, heated outdoor area in the winter! My compliments! I highly recommend it. Elena (Milan)

We came before the kitchen opened and so only had toasts with ham and cheese, as well as coffee. Both were fine and cheap, good service.
