14/09/2025: We went for dinner on a Friday evening. The place is spacious, with plenty of seating, but the decor is a bit bland. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses (the lard was very good, but the other cured meats were bland) and the bourguignon (tender and plentiful, with a variety of salted meats to accompany it). The bill wasn't exactly cheap (about €50 per person with wine).

01/01/2026: In short: Good restaurant. Go there. With a little more detail, we ate many different and unusual dishes. Some were a bit too spicy (e.g., the broccoli meatballs with cumin, which was a bit strong), but everything was very interesting. There were no vegans at the table, just to put the tastes and mood into context. We found the dishes excellent and tried everything with interest. The girls were treated kindly and were able to try something different than usual. The young man in the dining room, a 45-year-old, MEGA-kind man, rarely do you find someone so on point, so smiley, and who takes the time to politely and pleasantly address everyone at the table. Excellent. The chef/owner has a less welcoming demeanor, but she shows great care and dedication. She really cares. The food is good, as already mentioned, although in our opinion, some of the flavor-dominant species should be listed among the ingredients, so you can get a taste of the flavor before ordering. Rating 8, excellent.

06/01/2026: We came here to drink some orange wine from the Aosta Valley. The owners are very friendly and were able to help us choose. The wine selection is impressive and the prices are fair. Recommended!

28/12/2025: Asked for a wine, there wasn't one. Asked for a side dish, there wasn't one. Mini first courses, asked if I could also order something else, stove turned off at 10:00 PM. Then asked for a carpaccio, no, kitchen clean. Poor phone signal, asked for wifi, no answer, but "it's only for the gold owner" exact words. In a word... a disaster!

31/01/2026: Very rude staff. It feels like they're doing you a favor by doing their job. I don't recommend it, especially since there are plenty of better options.

31/01/2026: Literally the rudest staff I’ve ever experienced… Don’t for one minute think you can turn up and eat here. We dropped in to ask if it was possible to eat as there were quite a few empty tables… the staff member in question basically laughed in my face and said they were reserved. We left promptly and won’t be returning… much better places in terms of friendliness in Pila.

09/11/2025: A restaurant that offers the flavors of the valley, including dishes of Sardinian origin. It's the restaurant you wouldn't expect in the Aosta Valley, but it'll pleasantly surprise you. The gnocchi with blue cheese and walnuts are excellent. The dishes are beautifully presented, especially the desserts. There's also a wide selection of pizzas. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and the service is friendly and attentive. Dogs are welcome.

12/10/2025: Great! The only place open out of season with fast service and very friendly and welcoming staff. The place is completely renovated with a "modern mountain" style, ideal for a diverse clientele.

31/01/2026: In terms of food is just marvellous! Typical and refined, abundant and tasty!

27/12/2025: Closes at 1:40 PM. It's impossible to eat in 40 minutes. The restaurant isn't open to outsiders, but perhaps only to hotel guests. They don't need to work.

28/02/2026: Unacceptable experience. Yesterday, three families with six children were left without lunch due to the owner's mistake regarding the time of their reservation. Despite this, instead of taking responsibility, we were treated with arrogance and complete disrespect. This isn't the first time this has happened. I've given this restaurant many chances, but the problem is always the same: the owner is consistently rude, irritable, and always ready to find excuses not to give us a table when it's not convenient for him. When it's convenient for him, the table is found; when it's not, the reservation is "not valid." Unprofessional and unreliable behavior. You can't trust a reservation here. After yet another instance of disrespect, we'll never return.

06/11/2025: We've been going there for 40 years, and it's a regular stop when we visit Sora. Authentic cuisine, always friendly and helpful staff, the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffles is special, and the grilled meats are excellent. Super affordable! A favorite!

28/10/2025: Very simple place, very good food (excellent lasagna, I recommend it), fast and attentive service, very good well-cooked meat, everything homemade, I highly recommend it.

17/08/2025: The bar is located on the Val Veny road, next to the picnic area on the Dora stream. The cold dishes, such as salads and platters, are simple but made with good-quality ingredients. The service is courteous and prompt. The location is beautiful, and the building is simple, like a mountain hut, but certainly very clean and welcoming. It gets very busy on weekends.

05/09/2025: A very welcoming and unique restaurant. The French-speaking staff gave us excellent advice on our choice of dishes. The accompaniments to my dish (peppers and potatoes) could be improved. The peppers were inedible and full of seeds. A foreign object made its way into one of our desserts, but there was no problem, and the staff was understanding of the situation. We thank you for that.

23/08/2025: A welcoming and quaint place. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the flambéed beef cubes for their quality and originality, as well as the desserts. Highly recommended.

27/01/2026: Spectacular paella, small but authentic. Phenomenal value for money and service, and a truly helpful and talented owner. Definitely worth a try!
