31/01/2025: We went here on holiday with two children for a quick lunch, a simple and super welcoming place, very kind staff, they made us feel at home, there are two choices between first and second courses, both super good and abundant, with a fixed price and also wine or beer and coffee. The view from the window is beautiful, highly recommended if you want to eat well and spend little!

05/05/2025: I went to Shatush for a dinner with music. Initially I justified the high price of what was on the menu with the fact that we then had direct access to the disco after dinner. But for those prices I expected a much better quality of the dishes, certainly good, but not 5 star. I dropped it to 3 stars because there wasn't a fully functional bathroom in the nightclub: the men's bathroom was out of order and you were forced to use the disabled bathroom where you couldn't close the door... But is it possible? I wouldn't have gone to any fourth-rate place.

02/05/2025: A wonderful spring stay at Shatush Mont Blanc. Breathtaking view of Mont Blanc right from the room, cozy accommodations, attentive staff, and excellent cuisine. The Skyway cable car is just a short walk away — perfect for mountain walks or reaching the summit. An ideal place to relax in the Alps. I’ll definitely be back!

13/05/2025: In vacanza vicino a questo ristorante pizzeria siamo stati a cena una sera. Locale ampio tipico con personale attento e sorridente , abbiamo optato per un antipasto di mare (volevamo cambiare dopo tre giorni di piatti locali) non all'altezza e poco saporito dopo abbiamo preso pizza.. buone le proposte ma niente di che molta pasta e poca sostanza. Da provare altra volta magari con i piatti del territorio

A wide menu of dishes and also a menu with typical dishes from the Aosta Valley... wide choice of pizzas.... good pizza dough and good cooking... Thin pizza... Tasty speck and porcini pizza... The mountain and Aosta Valley ones are decent: in both cases one of the ingredients (the cheese... different for the 2 pizzas) is rather tasteless... It would be advisable to opt for 2 higher quality cheeses... Stale bread... Outdoor area at street level therefore easily accessible even by disabled people but tables outside crowded together to take advantage of the space granted by the municipality... luckily we were in an outside corner... not very thorough cleaning on the outdoor tables... Terrible coffee with traces of coffee powder, rather watered down like dirty water... Service a bit approximate and insistent at the beginning then the pace and attention drop... when the coffee was reported the attitude was too "insistent and presumptuous" and without tact... The location certainly guarantees a good flow of tourists... but fortunately in Aosta without going too far you can find other places...

19/06/2025: Very nice and unique little place, located in the historic center of Aosta where you can taste typical local products and wines of the area. They prepare excellent aperitifs. Highly recommended +++++

17/06/2025: Saint-Vout in Aosta is a super authentic place for a typical Aosta Valley dinner, with just the right vibe in front of the Arch of Augustus. Dishes like fondue, raclette and carne salada are top and they have a super wide selection of wines. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is attentive and the quality is evident. The bill is a bit steep, but if you want to treat yourself to a special evening and want to taste the true flavors of the Valley, it's still worth it!

02/06/2025: I stopped with my husband for a coffee, and I asked if I could use the bathroom, in a very rude way, the lady told me that the floor was wet, not giving me the possibility of access. Very rude and rude person. Some people before opening a business, should take a course in good manners.

06/05/2025: Dessert heaven, with fantastic staff, as soon as we arrived, the 1st thing I was asked was, if I wanted water for the dogs, Super breakfast ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

17/06/2025: This vegan restaurant has potential but is lacking in execution. The tables set out in the square in front of the old Roman forum have their charm, but they end up being the only highlight. The service is friendly. The menu ends up being expensive; the highlight was the hummus starter, which was really tasty. The salad was also good, but could have been served better. The real disappointment was the grilled tofu in lemon sauce, which was bland and served with green beans. Low value for money.

26/03/2025: There is a nice ristorante/bar placed in the top part of the blue slope no. 5, high enough not to meet crowds, but becoming more and more popular, so be aware of the peak hours during the lunch time. La Chatelaine Pila looks modest, but usually such places have the best Italian food. 😊 This bar has even much more: unique atmosphere and the enormously friendly staff! Amazing people, you feel like most welcomed guest, like family member. Open to talking and meeting new people, culture, language. Cheers to Sabine and Catherine (Kasia) – sorry, if I spelled your names incorrectly! And to others, so nice and smiling! There are panoramic windows inside so you can watch the beauty of the Valle d’Aosta enjoying your food when it’s too cold outside. Fantastic smell of wood fired oven makes it so cozy… Delicious food, local cuisine, desserts and cakes (tiramisu included!) looking so tasty… but to be honest – I’ve used to order mostly bombardino, hot wine and beer, just not to become fat while skiing. 😊 You can find here a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, tap and bottled ones, hot and cold. There are lot of places available on the fresh air when it’s sunny weather with mountains view all around. There is also a bonus, ‘secret’ not meant for outsiders – the kind of top-terrace with sunchairs, where you can relax holding a beer in hand and enjoying the sunshine. Not everyone knows it. Just climb these few steep steps…the view is stunning! You must visit this place, La Chatelaine Pila, to enjoy your special moments and nice break when skiing. Can’t wait for the next season and being there! Ski you later! 💙

21/05/2025: We had the best experience at the restaurant with an exceptional service and care for us. We got the best bread basket of all the restaurants we had eaten at in Italy, where the bread was still warm and fresh. Everything we had was delicious and we were even offered a couple of small things to try. It was the perfect spot for us.

25/04/2025: Veniamo tutti gli anni in questo ristorante ma questa volta purtroppo non è stata un’esperienza positiva per i seguenti motivi: 1. Nonostante la prenotazione in largo anticipo ci riservano il peggior tavolo della sala sotto il bancone. Chiediamo di spostarci e fortunatamente era disponibile un tavolo migliore al piano inferiore. 2. Il filetto di fassona che ricordavo molto buono, questa volta era molto duro a tal punto da aver lasciato alcuni pezzi. 3. Abbiamo chiesto un aceto balsamico ma ci è stato risposto che era terminato e non l’avevano riassortito perché “era la chiusura della stagione😳” 4. Il menù dei dolci sulla lavagna riportava numerosi dolci non disponibili perché “era la chiusura della stagione”, bastava semplicemente cancellarli dalla lavagna. 5. Il conto mi è sembrato più alto rispetto agli altri anni e riporta 3 ERRORI di prezzo che sono stati fatti presente al cameriere. Personalmente credo che anche trattandosi di fine stagione debbano garantire standard di qualità medio-alti rapportati a un conto per niente basso.

13/04/2025: People rave about this place and I can see why, they have an extensive menu, we were a party of 4 and tried the fondue, the polenta, the pear and walnut pasta and the burger and everything was excellent and presented decorated with beautiful flowers, looked good and tasted good! Plenty of options for vegetarians, portion sizes are big as well so easy to share. Can also be reached on foot without having to ski down, but is quite a climb up hill on the road.
