25/07/2024: Bellissimo locale dove ovviamente dispone molti posti all’aperto, pulito e ben curato. La proprietaria, Barbara (come del resto tutto il personale)e’ sempre gentilissima e disponibile a consigliare il meglio del menu’. Cucina curata e di qualità ideale per un pranzo o una merenda dopo un escursione.
Lo consiglio vivamente, buon cibo in mezzo all’accecante verde della montagna .

11/08/2024: Terrible food, I spent €46 for a plated hamburger and a bottle of wine that I wouldn't even use to cook at home, arrogant, rude owner. I advise all of you not to frequent that place.

We stayed at the Hôtel Étoile Du Nord from 20 to 25 August and can only express our most sincere gratitude for the wonderful experience. The owner, Mr. Luca, and the pool manager, Mr. Danilo, they were immensely kind, making our stay even more pleasant. Special thanks to Mr. Luca for the bottle of wine he gave us, a gesture truly appreciated.
All the staff were exceptional, always helpful and friendly. The hotel offers numerous strong points: the panoramic view of the mountains, the heated swimming pool, and the comfortable and well-furnished rooms.
We can't wait to return to visit them and relive this wonderful experience.
Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Hôtel Étoile Du Nord!

24/08/2024: Petit Caffè familial italien. Vous pouvez prendre un verre, une glace et des spécialités pour grignoter. Nous étions là pour prendre un verre en famille. C’était parfait, sur un table sur la place devant le café et la mairie. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Si vous été sur place ou y passé profite comme nous de cette quiétude.
16/08/2024: Proprietaria maleducatissima, ci ha aggredito perché il nostro cane ha fatto i bisogni (peraltro, in una vietta laterale all’entrata del bar). Preciso che eravamo già con il sacchettino per raccogliere in mano. Ovviamente, non siamo nemmeno entrati.

31/08/2024: I was there today for the first time, I ate a pizza, it was good, the service was on time, the staff is friendly, the place is nice.
In addition to the pizzas there is a menu with all the courses, which in my opinion is good.
I definitely recommend it.
29/08/2024: Friendly staff and decent food, but for the quality/price I think it's a little expensive.
Very nice and quiet place as there were few reservations, despite this they made us understand that not having booked there might not be room.
I'm not saying it's bad but I would definitely try something else before going back.

06/01/2024: Simplicity, frankness and authenticity in paradise: the town takes your breath away with its beauty and naturalness. Endless meadows, flowers, breathtaking views. You can eat inside or outside, easy parking. Vegetable flan with fondue, excellent cold cuts (moccetta with walnuts and tete de moine, jambon de bosses de S. Oyen cooked and raw S Marcel), plate of 0 km cheese with artisanal rose and raspberry jams, semi-creamy concia polenta, sausage and penne mushrooms, Valpellinentse soup, carbonade, homemade desserts: apricot, strawberry and rhubarb cake, Cogne cream, dessert of the 3 kings and then HIM! The homemade liqueur. 3 types of bread, quick and friendly service, excellent muscat and red nus, also good in bulk (Barbera)

07/08/2024: I have already been to this restaurant several times and I was impressed every time. The environment is very suggestive, very reminiscent of a cabin but located in the center of Aosta! Impeccable service, friendly and fast staff. The dishes perfectly balanced with their price and very good. I also tried some of the house specialties and was truly amazed by the excellent harmony of flavours. In summary: absolutely recommended restaurant, it is worth returning often and trying the whole menu.

16/08/2024: Pizzeria in Pont Suaz not far from Aosta, stopped for dinner as the hotel not far away has no restaurant.
Welcoming environment, courteous service, the menu mostly includes pizzas, quick in serving the pizzas despite several tables present, prices in the low range, I prefer the white pizzas and they are good compared to other places where the quality has been very disappointing.

14/07/2024: Ci tenevo a rispondere alle domande che mi sono fatto io prima di partire.. prima.. sì è un percorso impegnativo per una famiglia con un bimbo di 5 e uno di 10 anni.. ci sono punti meno e altri più impegnativi, salendo dal magnifico sentiero col museo a cielo aperto, dove si vedono più di 200 sculture di animali e personaggi... Noi, poco allenati, ci abbiamo messo 2 ore e 40 a salire i 6 km, con diverse pause visto alcune salite parecchio dure.. certo ne vale la pena per i paesaggi, il museo e il rifugio bellissimo dove abbiamo mangiato benissimo e serviti con gentilezza e in maniera super veloce.. al ritorno abbiamo percorso l'altro sentiero, meno spettacolare, molto più semplice ma piu lungo, circa 8 km in 2 ore... Seconda, sì c'è la possibilità di pagare col bancomat al rifugio .. sicuramente, lo consiglio! Un'esperienza davvero bella.. Sfiancante ma bella!
21/06/2024: Siamo in Valle d'Aosta e di rifugi ce ne sono per tutte le capacità sia di escursionisti che di alpinisti... questo di rifugio ha una particolarità tutta sua! Per raggiungerlo si segue un sentiero costellato di sculture lignee e anche d'altro. Pietra e legno la sua caratteristica! Come caratteristico è il cibo che viene proposto dai suoi gestori/proprietari. Una bella gita per famiglie!
