26/03/2026: Drawn by this restaurant with its vaulted ceilings and exposed stone, we entered for dinner, sampling some typical Umbrian dishes. Scrambled eggs with truffles and torta al testo, followed by truffle strangozzi, paired with a fine Montefalco Sagrantino. These delicious dishes completely satisfied us.

16/03/2026: Kudos to the waiter. The food could be improved. We ordered pasta, but it wasn't very hot (though the flavor was good). We ordered the soft-centered tart for dessert, but it was overcooked. It wasn't soft-centered and was almost burnt on the outside.

20/05/2026: Osteria Mangiafuoco is located in Perugia in Via Della Ferrovia, 1. A truly unique, friendly and serene place. Pleasant, knowledgeable and professional staff. Exquisite food, well prepared and presented. I was in Perugia for work and it was recommended to me by local friends... appetizer of local products and cold cuts with a really well-cooked, quality sliced ​​steak with a side of perfectly cooked potatoes with their skins... local red wine and... lots of passion... the only flaw is the lack of parking... but clearly not significant...

27/01/2026: It's a shame we only spent one night here: the rooms were very clean, the bed had a comfortable mattress and pillows, the breakfast was excellent, both sweet and savory, and there was the option of a delicious dinner in their restaurant. Above all, the helpfulness, kindness, and warm welcome of the entire family and staff stood out—truly exceptional!

14/05/2026: This welcoming restaurant is located in the historic center of a tiny village near Bevagna: Torre del Colle. The restaurant is housed in ancient rooms with large brick arches and wooden vaulted ceilings. It's charming. In one of these rooms, where tables are also set up, the kitchen opens up to a full view, where two undeniably talented chefs are at work, and you can watch them prepare the various courses. There's also an interesting wine display along the walls. You're greeted by the wait staff with smiles, kindness, and attentiveness—three important qualities that have become rare in large cities. The menu focuses primarily on seasonal products, fundamental elements of our culinary tradition. It's extremely difficult to recommend one dish over another, as they're all top-notch. In fact, you're spoiled for choice, thanks in part to the two chefs' interesting interpretations. The cheese puffs and the onion gratin with truffle are just a few of the appetizers to mention; Tagliatelle with asparagus and speck, and fusilli with white pork ragù and truffle, for the first courses; goat's cheese mousse with coccole and agretti, and the excellent meats, for the second courses. The wine cellar offers a significant number of excellent labels. To feel completely satisfied, you need to return several times to be sure of a good meal. Kudos to all the staff who run this restaurant. Finally, it's worth noting that the quality-price ratio is excellent.

07/05/2026: Everything was excellent: the food, the service, and the price. While we waited for our dishes to arrive, we were treated to a complimentary appetizer of bruschetta stuffed with their porchetta: F A B U L E!!! Since we hadn't ordered one of their generous platters, we made a point of returning. The dessert also deserves a special mention: the millefeuille with cream and black cherries was delicious.

26/04/2026: After our pilgrimage in Assisi, we went here for lunch. The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming us warmly and helpfully (almost like volunteers, with all the heart they put into it!). The torta al testo was simply delicious, fragrant, and rich in flavor. We also tried the San Francesco (or local) craft beer: truly strong and full of character, perfect for those who love bold flavors. A place I highly recommend to all pilgrims! Thank you so much, Alessandro and Luisa, you were special.

24/04/2026: During a trip to Assisi with the Diocese of Rome, I went here to get an exceptional—I can now say—sandwich with wild boar ham and olive oil. Simple, good, exactly what I was looking for. A little pricey, perhaps, but there aren't even any supermarkets here in Assisi, so it's not surprising. My friends were able to wait outside without getting impatient; in fact, in no time, my sandwich was ready to be enjoyed. Excellent, highly recommended!!!

12/05/2026: This was such a wonderful experience, we returned twice! The food was inventive and delicious. Combined with a lovely view of the piazza and a super attentive and kind group of people helping make your meal memorable. It was one of our favorite dinners in Montefalco and would definitely return. Do make a reservation and you’ll be treated like a member of the family.

11/05/2026: Recommended by the manager of the farmhouse where I'm staying, I tried it: spot on! The place is spacious, perhaps a little dimly lit, but very well decorated. Top hospitality! Let's get to the food: tagliatelle (handmade in-house) with delicious giblets, with the obligatory mopping up of the sauce (which was then mopped up with their freshly baked bread, a real treat!); the braised veal cheek with mashed potatoes (off the menu) was incredibly tender, but I would have preferred the baked potatoes; the homemade tiramisu was very good, but could have been better with a little more coffee. Total bill €40 (perhaps a little low considering my experience). Congratulations to everyone!

21/10/2025: My husband and I hiked the Silent Villages Trail, and on our second stop, we dined at the Uva Passera Osteria. Excellent lasagna and sautéed chicory with a fantastic burger (I'm celiac and was able to eat without any problems). Excellent cuisine, a warm welcome, and all the sunshine of Umbria and this splendid village of Morre, with its many lovely people. (I also wanted to mention the girl from the Arci club.)
