In a casual atmosphere, you'll be greeted warmly. The menu is extensive, with average appetizers, though the main courses were particularly good, as they were generous and generously topped. For dessert, we had a fairly good crème brulee. The place is warm and lively, though there's only one bathroom. Overall, this is a highly recommended restaurant.

I visited this place recently, almost by chance, and it was a delightful discovery. It's a two-minute walk from the central station and easy to get to. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by someone I think was Mangiafuoco himself, and all I can say is: what energy, guys! I ordered mushroom and truffle crostini and umbriarelli pasta with carbonara and truffle, which were out of this world. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was fast and accurate, and the atmosphere was very quaint. Greetings to everyone, especially the very friendly Mangiafuoco. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious, traditional dishes expertly prepared. You won't find carbonara like this even in Rome. Fast service and very welcoming staff make you feel right at home, and the prices are fair. Excellent value for money.

Truly excellent dinner! The osteria offers delicious dishes; every course was tasty and beautifully presented. The first courses were excellent and plentiful. Special praise goes to the staff: kind, attentive, and very friendly. Impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a try if you go to Perugia!

Hats off to the first courses, they were very good, "enough to mop up the dish with bread." As for the second courses, we had a fillet with porcini mushrooms, which was acceptable, but the steak we had wasn't exceptional, very tough, and the cooking wasn't exceptional, especially with too much oil on top. The bill was a bit expensive.

Not everything on the menu is available. I asked for the legume soup offered on the menu but was told it wasn't available, so I had to settle for tagliatelle with goose, which wasn't exactly appropriate for a light dinner. The dishes are all very hearty and made with traditional Umbrian ingredients. For a group of eight with different orders, the wait was longer than expected.
Very nice and small Osteria next to the station of Perugia. When I visited, I have been welcomed very warmly and I have got all the explanations I needed to order my food.
