Simple, genuine, ... sincere cuisine. The owner is a character from times gone by... extroverted and friendly. Kind and attentive staff. Parking nearby along the road... a little limited.

...es war wie teilweise beschrieben - der Ort liegt nahe des Hauptbahnhofes Perugias und nicht der Ort wo man gerne flaniert! Abends würde ich hier ungerne suchen - jedoch hatte ich Hunger und ich habs dann doch gefunden. Das Restaurant ist echt, authentisch und herzlich gewesen. In Deutschland würde man es eher gutbürgerlich nennen - so war dies eine umbrische und regionale Küche. Antipasti des Tages (Wurst- und Käsespezialitäten) der wirklich deftigen Sorte. Hier den Teller aufessen und man hätte weitere Gänge getrost lassen können. Ich komme wieder - das sei sicher!

A fantastic find. We visit Perugia just to dine in this restaurant. Francesco is an excellent host and help by the other friendly staff. Chefs turn out quality food with interesting ingredients. Well priced. An absolute must.

03/03/2024: Incantevole location ai piedi del Bosco di S. Francesco con pareti in pietra viva ed un bel camino al piano superiore. La cucina offre i tipici piatti della cucina umbra ma ad eccezione dell'antipasto misto di ottimi affettati e formaggi accompagnati da una buona focaccia, i primi (caramelle di pasta quasi crudi) e soprattutto il secondo di carne mista alla brace (salsiccia e costine di maiale ed agnello di formato mignon e bruciati) hanno deluso le aspettative. Personale gentile e professionale. Rapporto qualita'-prezzo mediocre.
21/01/2024: The menu itself is "only" an excellent summary of traditional local cuisine, with dishes managed very well. However, it has entered our "places of the heart", where we go, not only to eat well, but also for that warm feeling of home and family that is difficult to experience in a restaurant. The management, which I think is familiar, is truly welcoming and uniquely friendly, but never intrusive. Unfortunately we live in Milan, but at least once a year it is a fixed stop. Recommended, especially in winter, if possible, book in the room on the first floor, smaller and more intimate and with a beautiful fireplace that warms the soul.
