A magnificent restaurant in Santa Maria degli Angeli. The menu is traditional and the ingredients are truly excellent. The service is impeccable. The staff are all welcoming and attentive. A special thanks to Daniela, who is incredibly kind. They also offer gluten-free options.

Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert, truly! The staff was super helpful, welcoming, attentive to detail, and knew how to make their guests feel at ease. Of the restaurants I've tried in the area, this was the best for me, and the one I'd absolutely recommend!

Excellent ingredients, delicious pasta dishes, not to mention the restaurant's own prosciutto (unique in flavor). The staff is helpful, extremely kind, and even open to chatting (friendly and welcoming). Quick service, short wait times, and high attention to detail (the waiter noticed that three of us finished our pasta dishes and asked if we wanted some bread to mop up the sauce).

If you're passing through Assisi, I recommend sampling the traditional, expertly cut cheeses and cured meats at this restaurant, located opposite the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Quality products and friendly staff.

My husband and I return every year, either for the April 25th or May 1st long weekend. The kindness of the staff, especially waiter Francesco, is a sure sign, as is the quality of the food. The tortelli, ribs, and platters are sublime. For dessert, the tiramisu is a perfect finishing touch.

The charcuterie platter with a heavenly torta al testo (a dish you'll never stop eating), the tortelli and ravioli with parmesan cream are simply heavenly, all accompanied by impeccable and friendly service. Highly recommended if you're passing through Santa Maria degli Angeli.

Excellent restaurant, delicious, authentic, and very fresh food. Unique and tasty recipes. Very polite, attentive, and professional staff. Characterful and welcoming atmosphere. Prices are in line with the excellent quality of the dishes. A must-visit for those who love good, authentic food. Reservations are essential, and you'll have to hope you can get a table. Even though I don't eat meat or cold cuts, I found the food excellent and suited to my needs. Anyone passing through Santa Maria degli Angeli and Assisi simply cannot miss eating here. Highly recommended ❤️

30/04/2026: We only visited this agriturismo for dinner, and I must say the food was truly excellent, as was the location, which is well worth the visit. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par. We ordered a cheese board, which was good, but an explanation of what was included would have been appreciated. Furthermore, after the appetizer, the first courses arrived at different times: the tagliolini were served and the soup arrived more than 15 minutes later, making it difficult to eat together. It's a shame, because the quality of the food and the location are truly worth it, but the service could be improved to make the experience complete.
30/04/2026: I'm currently staying here, and I've found a place managed like few others. The welcome I received from one of the owners was empathetic, and I expressed my deep appreciation for managing such an important business. It takes commitment and passion, adding value to their land and their history, passed down through generations. Only those who can observe the imperfect nature can understand the true work that goes into making this location special. Not only for themselves, but also for those who are welcomed. 19/04/2026: In a casual atmosphere, you'll be greeted warmly. The menu is extensive, with average appetizers, though the main courses were particularly good, as they were generous and generously topped. For dessert, we had a fairly good crème brulee. The place is warm and lively, though there's only one bathroom. Overall, this is a highly recommended restaurant.
17/04/2026: I visited this place recently, almost by chance, and it was a delightful discovery. It's a two-minute walk from the central station and easy to get to. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by someone I think was Mangiafuoco himself, and all I can say is: what energy, guys! I ordered mushroom and truffle crostini and umbriarelli pasta with carbonara and truffle, which were out of this world. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was fast and accurate, and the atmosphere was very quaint. Greetings to everyone, especially the very friendly Mangiafuoco. I'll definitely be back!
