08/04/2026: Dinner with friends. Very nice restaurant, with a very hospitable chef. Excellent quality ingredients, featuring Umbrian tradition as well as some successful reinterpretations. Reasonable prices. I didn't give it 5 stars because toward the end of the dinner, with two windows open and the front door open, we felt a bit chilly. Will we return? Definitely, but we'll ask—and it's our fault—to close the doors and windows in case of a chilly breeze.

05/04/2026: A small restaurant located in a charming village (reservations recommended). Cuisine strongly rooted in the local area. Handmade pasta with organic flours, including gluten-free pasta, always made by them in their own kitchen. Organically grown produce from local farms, free-range meats, and desserts made daily by the chef. We didn't know they'd offer gluten-free options; imagine the delight of ordering everything on the menu without gluten. Attentive, precise, and thoughtful service, sensitive to intolerances. For two people, a full menu (with truffles), side dishes, dessert wine, and coffee—does that seem like a lot? Considering the quality of the ingredients used, the service, and the attention we received, it's excellent. Highly recommended.

03/04/2026: I visited this rustic restaurant near Amelia during a work break, and I must say that my expectations (already high based on the stories of those who took me there) were fully confirmed. The location is along a highway, with limited parking, but with a little luck and patience, you can find parking even along the highway. The restaurant's interior is spacious and welcoming, with carefully crafted rustic furnishings that create a pleasant atmosphere and reflect the restaurant's upcoming menu. In addition to the menu, a blackboard with the daily specials is also displayed, a sign of a cuisine that pays attention to seasonality. I started my dinner with an excellent hand-sliced ​​local ham, followed by some excellent ciriole al pomodoro, a typical local dish. Side dishes included sautéed chicory and French fries, and it all ended with some delicious tozzetti, so good that I ordered a portion to take home. It goes without saying that the main dishes at this restaurant are all meat-based. The wait staff is quick, friendly, and above all, skilled at managing the many customers who frequent the restaurant. Good value for money, reservations recommended. An authentic place, congratulations.

25/03/2026: My wife and I had the opportunity to have lunch at this typical family-run restaurant. An excellent ricotta and black truffle flan was worthy of being followed by a wonderful plate of strangozzi alla spoletina. Both plates came back empty and clean, due to having to mop up the sauce. We'll definitely be back.

02/11/2025: It is very difficult to make a reservation if you are a foreigner. But I love the food there and every time I'm in Perugia I go for dinner. From the appetisers I loved the pate, from the second courses the rabbit was delicious. The red house wine was good.

27/10/2025: A delightful discovery in a corner of old Perugia, right behind the Morlacchi Theater. A place with meticulous attention to detail, a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere—not your average osteria, but a little gem. We ate for two; the staff was kind, courteous, and attentive. The menu was extensive, with generous portions and well-prepared dishes. The only flaw was perhaps too much oil in some dishes. All in all, a good restaurant where I think I'll return soon. Fairly priced.

26/03/2026: Drawn by this restaurant with its vaulted ceilings and exposed stone, we entered for dinner, sampling some typical Umbrian dishes. Scrambled eggs with truffles and torta al testo, followed by truffle strangozzi, paired with a fine Montefalco Sagrantino. These delicious dishes completely satisfied us.

16/03/2026: Kudos to the waiter. The food could be improved. We ordered pasta, but it wasn't very hot (though the flavor was good). We ordered the soft-centered tart for dessert, but it was overcooked. It wasn't soft-centered and was almost burnt on the outside.

22/03/2026: Without a doubt, one of the best sushi places in Perugia, but the organization is lacking. We booked in the afternoon and were told to arrive at 9:20 PM. We walked in and our spot wasn't available. Several people lined up behind us, and for some reason, they were pushed ahead while we were forgotten about. After a while, they found us a table, but the service was incredibly slow. The first courses arrived in spurts, taking 15 minutes to arrive; some dishes didn't even arrive at all. The monitor also said orders could be placed until 11:30 PM, but at 10:45 PM, they were already asking us to place our last orders, barely an hour after we'd been eating. Seeing how rushed they were, and they were clearing the table while I was eating, I decided to order the last dish. A few minutes passed and I asked what had happened to it. The guy replied that it was cooking and it would take a while because it was steaming. After a while, he came back and said it wouldn't arrive because the kitchen had closed. Finally, it says online that the dinner menu costs €26.90 per person. I don't know why, but for three menus and a single bottle of water, we paid €30.90 per person. There's no point in taking so many reservations if you can't handle them all... it's not the first time I've made a reservation, and I sometimes find myself waiting a good 20 minutes... reservations are pointless... luckily, at least the food is good.

22/03/2026: I'm surprised that in 2026 a restaurant doesn't have a changing table in the bathroom, and it's an essential thing, plus it was recently renovated, sushi is standard, the environment is nice, but the fact that the waiter had to put two chairs 🪑 in the bathroom to let me change my baby seems crazy to me 😜 helpful and kind staff ❤️

The menu is extensive, with average appetizers, though the main courses were particularly good, as they were generous and generously topped. For dessert, we had a fairly good crème brulee. The place is warm and lively, though there's only one bathroom. Overall, this is a highly recommended restaurant.

17/04/2026: I visited this place recently, almost by chance, and it was a delightful discovery. It's a two-minute walk from the central station and easy to get to. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by someone I think was Mangiafuoco himself, and all I can say is: what energy, guys! I ordered mushroom and truffle crostini and umbriarelli pasta with carbonara and truffle, which were out of this world. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was fast and accurate, and the atmosphere was very quaint. Greetings to everyone, especially the very friendly Mangiafuoco. I'll definitely be back!

18/04/2026: The lady who served us was very kind and helpful, the food was really good, the olive oil and cured meats exceptional. We had the pici with wild boar ragù for our first course, which was delicious, and the pici with bacon were delicious!! Highly recommended. The only thing to do is book, especially in the evenings and on weekends.

04/04/2026: I went there tonight with my boyfriend. We stumbled upon it by chance, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The lady was incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was intimate and charming. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

10/04/2026: Giuseppe, Alessio, and team are incredibly hospitable and warm. Food is excellent. Love the charcuterie boards are TDF. The wine selection is immensely varied and superbly curated. The views of San Fortunato are breathtaking. A must visit when in Todi. Sitting outside during the warmer months is an experience.

24/03/2026: Overall, a pleasant place, with reasonable prices. The wine cellar isn't extensive, but it's carefully curated and stocks some very respectable labels. The atmosphere is informal and somewhat South Tyrolean. The cuisine, overall, is in keeping with the spirit of the place.
