5 stars well deserved. We had dinner for Easter 2024. A warm and familiar welcome, amazing food, excellent wine. The staff were very kind and friendly. We will come back for sure.

Typical Umbrian cuisine restaurant in the historic center of Gubbio. Nice and spacious place, friendly and precise service. As for the food, only compliments, with quality ingredients assembled to perfection. When it comes to authentic local cuisine, Picchio Verde is definitely the right place to go. As far as prices are concerned, the situation remains unchanged; in historic centers you often pay a lot for poor quality dishes that tourists cannot distinguish from typical local cuisine, however, due to the excellent quality that this restaurant offers, the prices are low and reasonable. Truly a pleasant discovery, congratulations again to all the staff!

Starting from the premise that catering is my profession, my passion, my life... This is one of those places that cling to your heart, as well as your palate, remind you why you love the sector immeasurably and will remain yours forever. Starting from the excellent professionalism of the meter who welcomed us, Moreno (his eyes shone as he explained the products and they filled with tears reminding me what a beautiful job ours are), we took a stre-pi-to-s0 Umbrian Barbera , the Galantuomo Collecapretta 2020, a local appetizer (divine cured meats and cheeses, the brustengo🤤🤤🤤), the three second courses: greedy guinea fowl (lots of stuff), blanched lamb served under the advice of Moreno with an Arnaldo Caprai red passito (to say the least not very spectacular), sweet and sour suckling pig (top dish, SUBLIME!!!). Not recommended, a must if you find yourself in Gubbio or surrounding areas.

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo locale di Gubbio e l'esperienza è stata molto positiva. Il locale è molto semplice, senza troppe pretese. Il personale è stato molto cordiale e veloce ed efficiente il servizio. Abbiamo preso un antipasto composto da salumi, formaggi e crostini con crescia; era tutto buono, in particolare i salumi. A seguire 2 primi: tagliatelle al tartufo e ravioli con pere, formaggio e noci. Le tagliatelle erano buone, ma non le migliori mai mangiate. I ravioli invece erano speciali. Infine, la grigliata mista di carne che era veramente buona. Conto onesto.

Onesto ristorante che propone ricette eugubine. Ottimi ed abbondanti i dolci.
Servizio cortese e disponibile.
