09/05/2026: My friends and I had an amazing lunch at Masolino. The food was fantastic, especially the artichoke and the torta al testo. I ate maybe one of the best carbonara of my life with truffle. I will definitely come back and try new dishes. Highly recommend it if you are in the Lago Trasimeno area area.

01/05/2026: Was looking forward to an enjoyable final dinner in Italy, but unfortunately we ended up here. The server was pretentious and unwelcoming, and wouldn’t give us the time of day. He refused to look at or speak to us. The whole experience was terribly uncomfortable. It was a disappointing experience to leave a beautiful place with. Would not recommend if you’re visiting.

The tables, in my opinion, even though they are vintage with exposed rough wood, should be covered with something to put bread on, for example.

Unfortunately, they brought the starters separately, one before the appetizer my partner had ordered, and one after. She possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows her to work the ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful, but above all...simple. 05/05/2026: Yesterday we had the pleasure of lunch at Ristorante Montenero, a true gem in the Amelia countryside, which this year celebrates an extraordinary milestone: 100 years in business, since 1926. A family-run trattoria that has successfully reinvented itself in its hospitality without ever betraying its soul: that of authentic Umbrian tradition. Dishes that tell a story of authentic flavors and passion, such as the hearty and authentic handmade fettuccine with ragù, game, pan-fried chicken, stewed mutton, and coratella (a kind of lamb cutlet). All prepared with local produce and the highest-quality ingredients. But beyond the cuisine, what truly strikes you is the atmosphere: a warm, family-friendly environment where you immediately feel at home. One of those rare places that still retains the profound sense of time-honored hospitality. My sincere congratulations to the entire staff for preserving and passing on such an important tradition. 12/05/2026: We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of friends and had a great time. The atmosphere is familiar and refined, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The dishes on the menu also amazed us with the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail, with noteworthy suggestions and combinations. If we ever pass through the area again, we'll definitely return.

06/05/2026: We stayed here on May 1st, 6 adults and 2 little girls. The place is surrounded by the green Umbrian hills, with a fantastic view. Excellent hospitality, the young and polite staff met our every need, even with two little girls who weren't particularly keen on sitting down! Excellent local food, presented in a modern style! Well done, especially Tommaso, if I remember correctly!

14/05/2026: I’m gluten free and dairy free and they were able to cater to my dietary needs. The vegan flavors were light and tasteful and the gluten free cone had the perfect crunch. I am ready to go back for more!!

11/05/2026: The best gelato in Perugia, located at the foot of the Sant'Ercolano steps. Unique flavors showcasing all the ingredients, and a perfect creaminess. I recommend the fig and almond ones.

31/05/2026: We came here somewhat by chance; we weren't sure where to go, and I admit it was a last-minute stopgap. Besides the stunning village, we were also greeted by this place, nestled in a peaceful corner that in my head screamed "serendipity." We were incredibly surprised and impressed by every dish: authentic, flavorful, with excellent ingredients, a blend of old and new. Chef Diego's influence is clearly evident. The staff was also incredibly friendly! I don't know what else to say; it was one of the most memorable dinners of our lives and certainly the best Umbrian gastronomic experience. The price was a bit above average, but absolutely in line with the quality. A must-visit if we ever return (hopefully soon) to this area!
