16/05/2026: The food was good and unpretentious, I'd say honest. The atmosphere was nice and refined, perfect for a quiet dinner.
The service, however, was rather slow: over 25 minutes passed from when we were seated to when we could order, and in the meantime, tables that arrived after us were served. This is an area that needs improvement in terms of organization and professionalism.
The owner, however, was very kind and friendly.
16/05/2026: Had an outstanding dining experience at Trattoria Pallot. Our reservation (recommended) was 7:30; we were warmly greeted and seated in the
lovely interior and atmosphere. This is noted as a slow food experience, so we weren't in a rush!
Our table of 4 ordered; Chicken Mediterranean (on special), ravioli with artichoke, 'cod' meatballs, and sausage with caramelized onion. All absolutely delicious. Half carafaes of the house red and white wines completed our meals perfectly. Plus desserts. We would absolutely recommend this establishment when visiting Assisi.

10/05/2026: A soup restaurant definitely worth a visit if you're in Foligno or the surrounding area. The food is excellent and the soups are delicious; the menu changes frequently and offers daily soups to suit all tastes.
I recommend asking for the tasting menu so you can try two or three soups.

04/06/2026: Excellent gelato with quality ingredients and completely handmade. A must visit for anyone in Spoleto, tourists and locals, for true Italian gelato. The granita is also super good, I have tried the pistachio one with "panna" (whipped cream) and it was amazing , not too sweet!!They have another shop in the historic town centre. Even in Italy is not so easy to find high quality gelato nowadays, so the true artisans need to be rewarded!!!

09/06/2026: Inventive and perfectly cooked food (making a nice change from the relentless and often lacklustre pizza and pasta offering in the rest of the city). Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. The best meal and service we had in Assisi, without a doubt.

14/04/2026: This very characteristic restaurant is located in the center of Deruta. It has outdoor seating and several indoor rooms. The tables and dishes are from the Domiziani company, very distinctive and colorful.
The "bucco" is high-quality, and the carbonara with truffles is worth it.
Fast and competent service.
The prices are average.

03/05/2026: We spent the weekend of May 1st in Umbria, and encouraged by our son, who watches Giorgione on TV, we dined there on two evenings. Excellent quality, a generous appetizer buffet, a truly generous set menu, and everything was delicious! Giorgione is truly friendly; he stopped by to take photos with everyone at the table and chatted with everyone, especially the kids! What more can I say? A perfect weekend in a wonderful region.

07/06/2026: The Florentine steak was good, as were the gnocchi with Sagrantino wine and the truffle carbonara. The pizza was also good. Three stars for the service, which wasn't particularly attentive, but we went on a Saturday night; the place was packed, and perhaps that was why they were in a bit of a rush.
02/06/2026: We went here at the recommendation of the owner of the farmhouse where we were staying. What can I say? The food was divine, so much so that we repeated the dinner the following day, and it completely met our expectations the second time, too. The staff is also really friendly. I highly recommend the place, and when we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

19/05/2026: Our third year of visiting Cantiano/Gubbio and dinner is always a treat here. Hosts Elisa and Gianluca are wonderful, food is delicious, great local wines, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This year's Corso dei Ceri was too wet to attend and they played the live event feed on the TV for everyone to enjoy.

02/05/2026: A small restaurant with the owner as chef and three fabulous girls in the dining room! If you're stopping in Bastia Umbra, it's a shame not to! Coming from Rimini, we give it a 10! We'll definitely be back!

08/04/2026: The owner, Domenico, is very helpful and accommodating, as are his staff. The food is second to none: every sandwich comes with fries, and it's a truly filling dinner!
The outdoor gazebo boasts a classy touch: a games room with a pool table, foosball table, and darts.
All in all, a wonderful experience; I'll be back!
