Le Mandrie di San Paolo In Assisi

This is the second time we go to this farm. A good choice for the location and the place where it is located. We wanted a quiet place surrounded by greenery, we found it. Furthermore, they produce everything themselves, oil, wine, vegetables, meat, even soap. I recommend eating at the restaurant...a nice and good experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. What can I say...there is no 2 without 3.

This farmhouse was recommended to us for lunch by a local girl and we were more than pleasantly surprised. Having arrived on Saturday for lunch, there were not many people in the room and Rino, the head waiter during lunch, told us a bit of the history of the farm and their products (almost everything is produced entirely by them). We ate very well and tasted their new beer flavored with amazing and very special olive leaves. After the appetizer and first course we were really full, but there was a dessert that had so caught our attention that we came back specifically, they told us the best time to come and we were warmly welcomed again by another very kind guy. The dessert was dedicated to an old local inhabitant and was with ricotta, pumpkin, chestnut flour and the oil from their Moraiolo olives, truly delicious, I'm happy to have come back on purpose. The staff was always kind and interested, this place gave me so much happiness and warmth (also because there is a fireplace and you can even sit next to it!!), if we are in the area again, we will definitely return.

Splendid location, a breathtaking view directly overlooking the olive groves. Very refined and refined cuisine, starting from the appetizers, first courses and desserts made strictly in-house! I've only been there once with some friends, I'll definitely be back!!!

Ottimo cibo e posto con panorama bellissimo, servizio da migliorare troppe cose dimenticate..

Si mangia davvero bene! Siamo stati a cena in 2. Allora, raggiungerlo non è così easy, soprattutto se per la prima volta non si conosce la strada. A tratti sterrata e stretta. Però vabbè, alla fine ci arrivi. Il posto è effettivamente pazzesco, ha una vista molto carina. Bella la sala principale, ma ancora meglio la veranda, ci siamo seduti lì. Unico difetto: il calore per riscaldarla non arrivava bene ai tavoli più esterni. Cane libero che girava tra i tavoli ma non dava fastidio, era una gradevole presenza. Veniamo al cibo: ogni portata è stata super. Per noi che veniamo da Verona è stata un’ottima esperienza culinaria locale. Antipasto la coratella con torta al testo; 2 primi: strangozzi alla mandriana (simil carbonara) e strangozzi funghi e tartufo; un secondo una bella tagliata con verdure dell’orto e poi due dolci (anzi, due finepasto come li chiama il boss) un tiramisù e dolce delle mandrie (consigliato). Porzioni giuste per arrivare belli sazi in fondo. Speso 83€ in due con vino. Apprezzato anche che il boss sia venuto al tavolo a raccontarci la loro filosofia di agriturismo. Bravi!

Io e mia moglie abbiamo avuto la fortuna è l’immenso piacere di soggiornare in questo angolo di paradiso e tranquillità ! È stata una vera scoperta (meravigliosa) . Che dire personale disponibile e simpatico proprietari gentilissimi ! Cibo fantastico! E poi il focolare in sala da pranzo non ha prezzo fidatevi ! Io mi sono innamorato di questo posto ! Luogo speciale, molto rustico ma curato,panorama fantastico! Rino è molto accogliente e cordiale e chiunque ha avuto modo di mangiare qui non è rimasto affatto deluso! Molto consigliato!

I found this gem after doing some extensive research and I cannot tell you how grateful I was that I did. I spent a beautiful - almost magical weekend here. Situated on a hill overlooking the magnificent landscape of Assisi and Umbria, Le Mandrie almost felt like it was a dream come true. My pictures came out gorgeous but still, do little justice to all that is happening here. The structure and people inside it - and everything coming out of their kitchen and their land - absolutely took my breath away. I was welcomed in a way that made me feel so special ...and it continued on this way throughout every minute of my stay. Marco is truly a wonderful person and the most gracious host. I was felt so cared. And they all really do care! The two owners (brothers) were equally amazing. Their hospitality and the quality of their agriturismo, their terrain and all of their products - everything is done with love, passion and respect. Their mission is truly beautiful as is the way they stay true to themselves and with the nature which surrounds them. My room was super adorable and comfortable (also much bigger than I had imagined! The grounds were tranquil, peaceful and serene (I must have taken 100 photos my first night there) And the food and wine (especially their homemade vino)....INCREDIBLE. In fact almost everything I consumed from the breads, jams, cheeses, pasta and meats were all homemade and straight from the farm. All of my meals there outstanding. I still remember vividly the taste of each and every dish I ate! I also shared some very special moments at Le Mandrie that I will treasure forever. I can't wait to return and will recommend your magical place to anyone I can in the interim! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Sono ritornata per la seconda volta in questo agriturismo... Posto meraviglioso in cima ad una collina con un panorama bellissimo, cibo buonissimo dagli antipasti ai secondi. Buon vino rosso. Il personale, al contrario di quanto letto in alcune recensioni, l'ho trovato molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissimo.
