10/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante Giovedì 8 agosto. Antipasto in 2 , un piatto di brasato di cinghiale al vino rosso e bacche di ginepro e un piatto di piccione alla leccarda (pietanza orvietana cucinata seguendo la ricetta antica della tradizione). Per finire un cheesecake al melone e un tortino al triplo cioccolato e un amaro prodotto direttamente da loro, ottimi! Dall'antipasto al dolce tutto saporito, buono, il piccione poi è stato top!!! Locale accogliente e personale molto cordiale! Ci piacerebbe ritornarci presto ☺️

04/08/2024: Excellent food, we had umbrichelli with truffles, umbrichelli with Orvieto ragù and as a second course the pigeon with dripping pan, then their handmade ice cream, you could feel that it was also different from the ice cream parlors' ice cream. All very good. We will certainly return to try the other dishes on the menu, which is the result of a careful study by the owner of the traditional medieval and Renaissance recipes of Orvieto, the cooking methods and the herbs used. Chef Adler was very kind and explained the entire menu, medieval and Renaissance, to us.

24/08/2024: Sono passati alcuni giorni, ma se lo ricordo ancora è un buon segno. Il locale è piccolo e spinge a rilassarsi. Cucina ottima, gli strangozzi li dovete provare in tutte le varianti. Noi abbiamo passato due serate davvero piacevoli ed anche la musica ha il suo perché. Consigliato

14/08/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in coppia in questa taverna e ci siamo trovati bene. Il belvedere e la tranquillità hanno fatto da cornice e il pranzo è stato soddisfacente: abbiamo ordinato una tagliata di salumi locali come antipasto, le tagliatelle al porcino nero e le lenticchie con la salsiccia come primi. Prezzi nella media e servizio curato.

19/07/2024: Typical location in Orvieto. Willingness to accommodate us with a table outside despite everything being booked. On typical dishes there is no fear of any negative surprises. Confirmed positive notes from our son from a few years earlier.

17/07/2024: Beautiful environment, with friendly and attentive staff, we had a starter for 2, all very good, quality cured meats, and tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, very tasty, perfectly cooked, truly special, we treated ourselves to an equally good dessert, we will definitely return More when we are in the area again. 28/08/2024: The hotel is in the city center and the rooms overlook narrow alleys which, with the proximity of the other buildings, do not allow for any privacy. Car parking is not convenient. For a superior room you expect a bathroom with window. The room was clean and the dinner was excellent.

28/08/2024: Excellent location, very central, but very well soundproofed room, so you can also enjoy tranquility and privacy. Nice view from both the main balcony and the back one. Very kind and professional staff.

New location significantly improved both in terms of eating and ordering spaces. Andrea and Roberto are the legendary pillars! Highly recommended

16/08/2024: Excellent farmhouse. Located a stone's throw from the Basilica of San Francesco. Don't miss breakfast, they make delicious desserts. Another thing not to skip is dinner, they cook fabulously, everything is good. The owners are very kind and the staff friendly. They have a phenomenal view from the pool especially in the evening you will see a stunning panorama. To return. Congratulations to the whole Carfagna Sandro family

14/08/2024: A beautiful restaurant. Recommended for anyone who wants to escape from everyday life and enjoy the peace and quiet. We were warmly welcomed with our dog and child, the dog gets water straight away and there is a playground and a meadow for the children to run around. The food there was 1a. And the service is also first class. If we come close again we will definitely stop by again.

10/07/2024: I had dinner in this place together with my partner... at the entrance they asked us if we had booked, obviously not... But inside the place it was just us😂... We waited about half an hour for the food... Good refined food but the portions were really minimal for the €80 total of which €29 for two plates of cappelletti (there were 4 for each dish), €14 for two bottles of water and €6 for a cover charge.... Absurd!

08/07/2024: Eravamo stati in questo ristorante parecchi anni fa e la prima impressione che abbiamo avuto e che ci sia stato un cambio di gestione. Entrare nel locale (non pieno) e attendere una decina di minuti che qualcuno si avvicinasse a noi, già non ci è sembrato un buon auspicio. Sulla bellezza del locale nulla da dire: location unica con pavimento in vetro su antichi mosaici di epoca romana. Molto da dire invece sul servizio: due soli camerieri abbastanza impacciati, che fra una qualunque richiesta e l'accoglimento della stessa facevano passare minimo un quarto d'ora e spesso entravano palesemente in contrasto fra loro. Camerieri che addirittura bevevano quello che restava nelle bottiglie dei clienti che andavano via! Se non l'avessi visto con i miei occhi non ci avrei creduto! Il cibo è stato discreto, non eccellente ma comunque di buona fattura. Il proprietario non si è fatto vedere, è entrato solo una volta uno chef per presentare un piatto particolare. Un po' di presenza fra i clienti non sarebbe male, come accade in tanti altri locali, dove i proprietari sono molto attenti e garbati. Posso dire che purtroppo non siamo stati bene sia per l'atmosfera che per la confusione nel servizio. Anche il prezzo non è stato certo "amichevole", anche se era da aspettarselo visto il tipo di locale. O siamo stati sfortunati noi, o c'è davvero qualcosa da cambiare per poter portare avanti al meglio un locale di questa bellezza.
