18/08/2024: Great tasting food with equally wonderful presentation. Very nice service, helpful and interested in the customer. It is definitely worth stopping by on the way from the waterfall nearby. The restaurant itself is located in a town situated on the top of a hill, which makes the location like something out of a fairy tale.

14/08/2024: My girlfriend and I went to this nice restaurant during our weekend in Spoleto. The outdoor location is very beautiful, in fact it overlooks a small balcony from which you could enjoy the sunset and a beautiful view of the city. The staff immediately proved friendly and welcoming. We ordered a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, some delicious local sausages and one of their local pastas, strangozzi alla spoletina, seasoned with chilli garlic and chopped tomatoes, very tasty and strong. Finally we ordered two desserts: their typical chocolate cake and a puff pastry covered in hot cream and berries. It was all delicious and fresh topped off with a pleasant view. I would give some advice: when bringing the cold cuts platter, I would describe the cured meats brought and their history so as to make you appreciate the local traditions even more. If you are looking for a traditional restaurant with a touch of elegance this restaurant is the right place.

The restaurant is located first of all in a former sixteenth-century stately building, with a very fascinating history that we recommend you ask to be told on site; we had dinner in the internal courtyard, but the room with the large fireplace and the small, more romantic terrace are also splendid. The menu also caters for vegetarian needs, which is much appreciated. Everything we tasted was delicious, from the gnocchi to the Sagrantino, to the buffalo stew, to the dessert; the attention to the quality of the ingredients was evident in the goodness of some very simple dishes such as buffalo scamorza or garden tomatoes. The more than honest prices and the friendliness of all the staff complete a visit that we can't wait to repeat.

29/08/2024: Tourist for a day and therefore dinner with local friends. All the positive reviews speak for themselves; but the finesse and accuracy of the staff in finding 100% Vegan alternatives within the same menu is worthy of an Oscar. Congratulations indeed, I have never found such excellent availability! It denotes professionalism and above all a lot of intelligence. Well done!

18/08/2024: I was really impressed by the Il Tipico restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But the strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine. In this place you will have the opportunity to taste typical traditional products with 0 km ingredients. Last night I tasted the "Gnocchi alla Nostra Maniera" dish and it was an explosion of flavours. A delicious dessert to be enjoyed with a spoon was the finishing touch of a delicious dinner. Highly recommended!!!

17/08/2024: We stopped for a short break and had lunch with the testo cake, delicious and at a fair price. Very friendly staff, they even offered us coffee at the end of lunch. I highly recommend it!

12/08/2024: We stayed here on a Sunday in August. Luckily we got the last available table (by calling the night before). I highly recommend booking a little in advance, because the restaurant has table space and the village is always full of tourists. Restaurant located on the first floor of a small building, underneath there is a bar. Informal, welcoming. Excellent food! Moderate, honest prices. The lady who served us was always helpful and kind! 03/09/2024: Here is an excellent restaurant for those who want to try lake fish, among other things you can opt for a tasting menu, I made this choice and was pleasantly impressed. I particularly liked the queen trout and the hand-pulled tagliolini with smoked tench, excellent, efficient, professional and courteous service, adequate bill, I will definitely return to try other dishes

28/08/2024: I confess that I don't love lake fish and instead, to my enormous surprise, after having dined in this restaurant I have to cancel this statement: delicious tench tagliolini and above all a porchetta carp which would have required an encore. You can see that the fish is treated with experience and tradition. The quail is also excellent, prices are not low but the place is worth it all. Well done

04/08/2024: I really liked it, simple and welcoming, the platter was good, the ratatouille and the canapé with pâté were excellent and so was the dessert, the creme brulee with caramelized apples. It's a shame we couldn't try the other delicacies, but we were traveling home to the north and the weather was tyrannical.... See you next time!

01/09/2024: Dopo anni torniamo in questo posto, in cui abbiamo già avuto modo di godere dei loro servizi e della loro professionalità. Potrei scrivere a lungo dei piatti fantastici, della carta dei vini e dalla gentilezza della signora e del suo staff, ma credo basti scrivere che è il miglior ristorante di Montefalco!

19/07/2024: We spent a month in Spello but we’re only lucky enough to reserve a table in this restaurant on one occasion. The food was excellent, We are outside and the view was more excellent. The staff were the icing on the cake!! All in all, this restaurant is a must visit in Spello. We will remember our meal here with the beautiful view forever. Thank you to everyone involved.

15/08/2024: I only had dinner and all the dishes were prepared with extreme care and with quality products typical of the area. Excellent service and friendliness, all family run. A wonderful surprise that happened by chance. But it will no longer be a coincidence to go back.
