22/02/2026: Yesterday we had lunch at this trattoria; we couldn't have made a better choice! For starters, a lovely platter of game cured meats, each one better than the last. The bruschetta with pecorino cheese, honey, and coffee was a wonderful surprise! The first courses were truly magical: the wild boar ragù was truly fantastic, and the maltagliati with porcini mushrooms and sausage was a real treat! For the main course, a pork stew with wine that melted in your mouth. Kudos to all the staff, and a special thank you from our dog, too.

18/02/2026: The best lunch in Perugia, value for money at FABULOUS. It has a homey feel, one of those places where you can spend hours drinking, chatting, and eating. The owner is a truly nice person. The bathrooms are super clean. Almost exclusively locals. The dishes are delicious, all homemade, using top-quality ingredients. The meat melted in your mouth. Service is fast. The house wine is excellent and not acidic. We had an appetizer, two first courses, a second course of sliced ​​steak, a side of vegetables, half a liter of wine, bread, and water. €51.00. PERFECT. The only small drawbacks: the desserts didn't appeal to me, and the complete lack of parking. I STRONGLY recommend booking. Note: They are CLOSED on Saturdays, but that's fine.

11/01/2026: English version (below you can find it in Italian) You can impress your visitor by bringing to mi'cocco, if you are searching for typical osteria in Perugia. This is a restaurant where the menu is fixed for a long period of time. It's unique in this version of restaurant. In fact each day has a different singular offer, and this is repeating each week of the season (I think the same for whole spring, and then summer and autumn). The price is very cheap, as 18€ for full meal with starters, first and second dish, desert and liquor offered. The taste, the quality and the freshness of the products are approved. Apart from just drinks and coffee. However, I found pasta very rough as it was not completely cooked. This is a pity because the meat were very well cooked (mix of meat: chicken, lamb and turkey). Desert as well done tart with "vin santo" as offered liquor. The service is nice and welcoming but very fast. And the location is nice and quite big, even if you don't believe so looking from outside. Another point: during the reservation via call, they asked me about allergies/intolerances, and I appreciate it. They take care to prepare pasta without cream (for an allergy to dairy products), but they forgot to bring me focaccia and pizza without cheese as a starter. Italian version: You can set the scene by bringing a visitor to eat at Mi'cocco, an example of a good Umbrian osteria. This restaurant is unique in its style of offerings. In fact, every day there's a fixed menu, different depending on the day. However, this menu is repeated throughout the season. This is positive because if you like the menu, you'll happily return the following week. I recommend it because the food is very flavorful, and the meat is cooked properly, and you can taste the fresh produce. The only negative I found was the cooking of the pasta. It was too al dente and unfortunately almost raw. However, it was delicious thanks to the excellent sauce. I recommend paying more attention to the cooking next time. The mixed roast of chicken, turkey, and lamb was well-cooked and flavorful! Desert with crostata and complimentary Vin Santo. All for €18, excluding drinks and coffee. I'd say it's a very fair price for what you eat. The service is fast. The location is quite large and well-maintained. You'd expect it to be smaller from the outside. Only note to add: I appreciate that they asked about any allergies/intolerances when booking. During the meal, they took care to make the toppings cream-free (I have a dairy allergy), but they didn't bring me dairy-free focaccia or pizza as an appetizer.

11/09/2025: My husband and I chose Tenuta Marchesi Fezia because, being married in San Gemini, we wanted a nearby venue to make it easier for our guests and avoid unnecessary travel. We were both familiar with the property because it's known for parties and events. We went for an informal meeting with the owner and, without visiting other venues, we immediately opted for this one. The menu option was agreed upon quickly (which I appreciated), and we were also able to sample a menu and choose two variations (wine and meat). The owner was always available, kind, and efficient. On our wedding day, we were greeted with a rich buffet and drinks. This was followed by an excellent lunch, dessert, and fresh fruit. Our guests had nothing but words of thanks and praise for the location, the quality of the service, and the food! I would recommend this venue to anyone, whether for weddings or any other group event. I also suggest booking a private dinner for two in the beautiful silo. The property boasts beautiful views of vineyards and hills, as well as a swimming pool, paddle tennis courts, and gardens and paths. Tenuta dei Marchesi Fezia is conveniently located and has ample parking. A heartfelt thank you to Monia, Gianluca, and the staff.

05/03/2026: Good food, but I'm not giving it five stars only because a starter on the menu was no longer available and a dessert I wanted to try was already sold out. Local, authentic ingredients, beautifully cooked and plated. The waiter was very kind and attentive.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food excellent, the wait time was just right for the dishes being prepared, and the bill was perfectly in line with the prices. We even asked for changes, and they were patient in making everything! We'll definitely be back!
