The strangozzi alla norcina, with cream, sausage, and truffle, were topped with a generous amount of cream, two tiny pieces of sausage, and a sprinkling of truffle. We were extremely disappointed. The portions were small and the prices high, not fully justified by the location. I give it an average rating for the friendly service and the homely atmosphere. It's a real shame to make such a fool of yourself over just a few grams of food or seasoning.

On a weekend vacation in Assisi, we chose this restaurant for dinner. The place is welcoming, and the staff is truly friendly and welcoming. The appetizers are simple but delicious, and the meat is truly delicious. The dessert flambé was fabulous. We really enjoyed it; try it and believe it.

It was the most delicious and clean food I had near St. Francis Cathedral. The gnocchi and potato dishes were especially tasty. The owner was also kind. from s.korea. (raphael & cecilia)

03/06/2026: We had lunch at Mamma Ida's on Saturday, May 30th. The food was really good: gnocchi with ricotta and sausage, lentil soup, and a cheese appetizer. Everything was good and plentiful, except for the cheeses, which were a bit pricey for the portion. For dessert, a ricotta, lentil, and chocolate tart was truly excellent. The view of the entire landscape was beautiful, but it was a shame the flowers hadn't started to bloom yet.
