31/05/2026: Exceptional place... just a few kilometers outside Norcia. Very welcoming atmosphere. Impeccable service. Friendly, courteous, and above all efficient staff. A dinner of good taste and impeccably presented traditional dishes. The appetizer was delicious, the sliced ​​meat perfectly cooked to medium. I highly recommend it for both large and small events! I will definitely return because the place, with its attention to detail, fascinated me, and the table setting deserves top marks.

28/04/2026: We've been (or rather, were) fans of Favorita for many years. We've come here on many occasions, right from the start, for lunches, dinners, and aperitifs, with friends, family, and as a couple. I must say that years ago, the atmosphere was a bit different. The place is very beautiful, but as it often grows, it's lost its aesthetic appeal and, above all, the quality of its products, while maintaining the same high prices and small portions. Years ago, a platter of cured meats and cheeses was truly excellent and the ingredients were exquisite. Today, that's no longer the case, and it's a shame. I hope you can rediscover some of the care and attention we once had!

03/06/2026: Beautiful setting and presentation, polite if also calculated service, and food that was visually refined but tasted unremarkable and bland. The truly strange moment of the visit, however, involved the olive oil. Rather than being available at the table, it was waiter-served in tiny quantities. After receiving only a few drops each, we asked for more and were flatly told this was not possible! He then seriously invited us to an olive oil tasting instead, wow, adding insult to injury... Only after the next table received their own carefully rationed spoonfuls around ten minutes later did the waiter return and offer us more as well — perhaps realizing that olive oil in Italy should not feel like access to a rare controlled substance. Complete fail and auto sabotage for a supposedly high end, certainly high priced place as theirs! Altogether, it felt like a place prioritizing style, ceremony, and formality over substance, generosity, and heart.

The wine and beer selection is also very good. For the warmer months, there's also an outdoor area within the walls of this beautiful little village. Well done, guys.

10/05/2026: Small Japanese restaurant downtown. Not sushi and sashimi, but more authentic. There's a set menu and a daily menu. Many rice dishes, a ramen (soba), and vegetarian options. Everything is very good. The tables, chairs, and the seating next to the entrance need some rethinking. A full menu for €20, not including wine, is not to be missed. I highly recommend it.

01/05/2026: It's a nice restaurant. The place was clean and tidy. The food was fresh and tasty. Our favorite dishes are the meatballs and the eel rice. It consoles us for our longing for Yoshinoya, thank you! The condiments were authentic and delicious. We really enjoyed our lunch. Recommended 👍🏻

01/05/2026: Terrible experience: not recommended. ​I stopped at this bar while passing through for a quick bite, but the welcome was completely inadequate: the staff and owner were extremely sullen and not at all customer-focused. It almost seemed like your presence was a nuisance. ​I asked for a white focaccia topped with ham and cheese, but what I was served was embarrassing: the focaccia was extremely dry and clearly not fresh. Inside were some poorly cut pieces of ham and two barely visible slices of cheese. ​The attitude of the owners was uninviting; in fact, they were downright surly. ​There was virtually no selection at the counter, and the quality of the little I ate was terrible. A place to avoid; I wouldn't recommend it even for a quick stop.

27/04/2026: I stopped by for lunch today. There was no one there, but I read a fixed menu for €14, including a first course, a second course, and a side dish. But neither water (€2.50) nor coffee (€1.50) were included, and above all, the service charge (€1.80). Not counting the fact that I had a glass of wine for €5. I spent a whopping €24.80. So be careful with the fixed menu, which, as it says, is regular. In fact, it only lists the food. I was being superficial. But since I've been around a lot, I took it for granted that everything was included. As for the rest, they were polite and nothing to say.

04/06/2026: Recommended by several locals, I went to what is considered the best restaurant in Gubbio for traditional Umbrian cuisine. The welcome was exquisite, and the food even more so. The first courses are highly recommended, and of excellent quality. Sitting on the terrace offers a beautiful view and fresh air.
