13/09/2025: In the heart of Assisi's historic center, at Vicolo della Volta Pinta, at number 3, is an excellent family-run restaurant. It's intimate and elegant, run by delightful people who love their work and invite you to sample fragrant dishes and new, sophisticated flavors, while still embracing Umbrian tradition. We were able to have lunch under the vaulted ceiling, where a lovely breeze caresses you, making our stop pleasant on a scorching day. We chose a caponata strudel with perfectly balanced flavors, truly amazing. We followed it with breaded cod meatballs on a saffron cream, garnished with berries, and lamb with baked potatoes. A quarter white, a quarter red, and coffee. Lunch in front of the Temple of Minerva was a unique experience, even though the restaurant itself offers a very welcoming atmosphere inside. Thank you for providing a moment of well-being.

22/06/2025: Tenuta Marchesi Fezia is on the hills between San Gemini and Narni scalo, in the middle of the countryside. In the summer, the sun reigns supreme, but they are organized to defend themselves. There is plenty of space and the organization is quite orderly. When I happened to eat here, the food was excellent. Perhaps the service was a little slow.

31/08/2025: Excellent experience...for the second time in years. Today, three of us had lunch. My son (8 years old), an excellent food critic, was very satisfied after tasting everything served and would have given it 10 stars if possible. The crostini were well-made and the first courses were truly mouth-watering 😋 The place was casual and clean. The service was friendly and impeccable. We'll definitely be back.

30/08/2025: The atmosphere is unique, it seems to be furnished in a very shabby way, but then you slowly appreciate the place, with its excellent background music and top-notch food, which transports you to a dimension of times gone by... let's say the carefree nature of simple reality. Worth a visit.

25/08/2025: Located in the heart of Città della Pieve, in the Borgodentro district, it's a constant hub for locals and tourists alike, offering consistently high-quality food at all hours of the day. We sampled the daily specials for lunch after a tiring journey, immediately discovering the quality of the dishes and the professional, courteous welcome. A wonderful start to our vacation during the Palio dei Terzieri, which further deepened our love for Città della Pieve. Mara and Filippo.

25/07/2025: We stayed at the property for four days in July. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by the disconcerting behavior of the owner, Mr. Alessandro, who approached our table during one of the dinners to exchange a few words, only to then verbally attack us, insulting us and accusing us of being arrogant for—in his opinion—asking too many questions about the agriturismo. The conversation clearly touched a raw nerve, considering that the owner himself had earlier complained about the numerous sacrifices made compared to the rest of the staff. We believe, however, that such an outburst of anger is completely unjustifiable, especially towards guests who were simply trying to enjoy their stay, without any complaints, but rather with sincere admiration for such a well-kept property. This aggressive and gratuitous attitude left a negative mark on an otherwise pleasant experience. It's a shame that the excellent work of the rest of the staff was ruined by the owner's rudeness.

Non ci siamo mossi da qui...goduto della piscina piccola ma deliziosa come tutto il resto...dalla gentilezza dei proprietari,alla squisitezza del cibo e la pulizia di ogni ambiente. X noi un angolo di pace non troppo lontano da casa. Grazie a tutti voi di ❤

Queste caratteristiche che si riscontrano nell'agriturismo "Fontana delle pere" di Massa Martana, invogliano il turista, come me, come noi, a ritornarci ancora senza nessun dubbio . È stato bello girare per il podere e guardare gli animali da vicino

16/08/2025: Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, and a slightly more upscale setting. It was a shame one dish was missing, so we couldn't eat together. Even so, the dish was ordered twice for four people. All in all, we had a delicious meal.

01/08/2025: Generous portions, exquisite tagliatelle della nonna! I personally didn't like the carbonara because the egg was overcooked. I didn't like the fact that even though we arrived first and told them we were ready to order, they took the orders of two other tables, who were obviously regulars. Very fair prices!

29/07/2025: Very nice lady, you can choose to sit inside, on the terrace or on the “tower” which has a breathtaking view, the steak for 2 was really nice and the pasta was very tastefull too. Overall truly great experience

25/08/2025: The main courses, dessert and service were excellent, but the appetizers were rather disappointing. The restaurant is located in a pastoral and beautiful setting, with very elegant décor. The service was wonderful, and as soon as we sat down we were served a small plate of thick and very tasty soup to warm us from the cold outside, a glass of prosecco, and slices of garlic-seasoned bread. For starters, we ordered a terrine with pistachios and black truffles, and a sort of salad with melted burrata cheese. Unfortunately, both were quite disappointing— the terrine was very bland in flavor, and the salad dish was cold, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge. For the main courses, we ordered black truffle ravioli and tortellini stuffed with mozzarella and tomatoes with spinach pesto. Both were excellent; the pasta was perfectly cooked, and the ravioli came with an impressive amount of truffle shaved directly over the dish. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was classic, simple, and good. To finish the meal, we were served a local chocolate liqueur that left a wonderful aftertaste. The prices are also quite reasonable — we paid a total of €100 for two people, including two glasses of wine and a tip. In summary, if not for the big gap between the appetizers and the rest of the meal, I would have gladly added another star.

18/08/2025: A warm, traditional Umbrian restaurant, welcoming and elegant. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable, the service is quick and accurate, and the food is delicious, prepared with quality ingredients. Don't miss the truffle ravioli, the cubes with gorgonzola fondue, and the sliced beef with lard, served with delicious potatoes. Fairly priced. Highly recommended.

22/08/2025: Danilo knows how to make his guests feel at ease, pampering them without ever being intrusive. The ingredients are top-quality, and the cuisine offers first-rate dishes paired with excellent wine. The meat and goose ragùs made us dream and convinced us to return. The amatriciana and the host's friendliness will have us returning several more times before our holiday is over!

26/07/2025: I don’t mind shops making a cut on what they sell but I purchased a bottle of wine there and later noticed this shop is applying a 59€ markup. Be careful!

23/08/2025: NO. Terrible food, inedible fish. Even though they noticed we barely touched any of the food, they didn't even bother asking us why. They gave us an already opened bottle of wine (I don't know how long ago), saying it was three glasses, but they charged us for the full amount. Poor service, no parking. Never again.
