14/06/2025: I asked my Airbnb host for a lunch recommendation and she very graciously booked this lovely place for me directly with the owner, Filippo. He greeted me warmly and the other staff were equally kind and friendly. The vibe is relaxed and friendly yet also sophisticated. The menu combines classics and innovative dishes and SALAD actually finds its way onto many of the plates. My lunch was so delicious that I came back for dinner. I wanted something light and was glad I took the server’s suggestion of the tomino mele noci e miele (melted cheese with magic and salad). Come on over. Enjoy.

10/06/2025: In the center of Perugia, on a quiet street next to the cathedral. A very cozy place with beautiful decor, jazz music, and plenty of bottles of wine. The food was spectacular!! And the wine list was endless... highly recommended!!! I loved it! Cheers and wine!!

24/05/2025: I have been frequenting this bakery with pleasure for a long time, but unfortunately I have to note a clear deterioration. The croissants, which were once abundant and well filled, have become visibly smaller, with an increasingly scarce and tasteless filling. As if that were not enough, the prices have increased unjustifiably compared to the current quality of the product. In essence, you pay more for less. It is a real shame to see a business that had won over so many customers lower its standards so much. I really hope there is a change of direction, otherwise it will be difficult to justify further visits.

18/05/2025: On the suggestion of friends, I reach the industrial area of ​​Ballanzano for breakfast where there is this croissant shop that has a large parking lot, also accessible with wheelchairs, where you can even park with heavy vehicles. Inside there is a large availability of seats, you are welcomed by kind and professional staff who accompany you to the tasting of the house specialty: fabulous croissants of various sizes and colors that you can fill as you see fit based on the offer on the menu displayed at the counter. All accompanied with excellent coffee or cappuccino also passing for a very fresh juice. A beautiful discovery, a splendid experience that I highly recommend, see you soon.

15/06/2025: Japanese restaurant run by apparently Chinese nationals. Acceptable quality. An "All you can eat" menu is available, but more expensive in the evening than at lunch. Small sushi without overdoing the rice. Order on a tablet.

06/07/2025: Fabulous spot in Perugia ( just off the Piazza IV Novembre), tucked away and well covered by awnings. Food is excellent with a different and inspired menu. Pasta is superb but try other things - soufflé di Pecarino for example. Staff were great and didn't hurry us so we lingered and enjoyed some Vin Santo. Great lunch.

Regardless of the excellent quality of all the dishes (delicious!), what we really appreciated was the speed of the service: we ordered and in a moment we were already eating. An incredible plus, especially when you are with a child. Efficiency, quality and courtesy: we will definitely be back. Congratulations!

28/06/2025: I ended up there by chance. Actually, luckily! Luckily because, in addition to the welcoming environment and the very friendly staff, I ate an excellent NEAPOLITAN pizza! As a welcome, they served me fritters with seaweed... I already understood that the matter was serious! Light and tasty fritters, for me a flavor that has accompanied me since childhood. I had a Puttanesca (red tomato, yellow tomato, olives, anchovies, capers, basil). Very light dough, leavened impeccably. And then the ingredients: it is rare to be able to perceive the flavor and aroma of each one as instead it was in this case. Quality raw materials! I also drank an excellent craft red beer. A note of color. At the end of the dinner, I go to compliment the owner and the pizza chef. They offered me an after-dinner drink and we talked for a few minutes... we discovered that we are from the same city on the slopes of Vesuvius. The world is not small, more than that! If you are looking for a REAL pizza, with a maniacal care of the dough and a quality raw material, you have to go there. If you then consider that you find an excellent quality-price ratio, you have one more reason. I will definitely go back!
