I'd like to talk about the trattoria! It's located about 200 meters behind the Basilica of Porziuncola, in Santa Maria degli Angeli. The atmosphere is charming, divided into several rooms and dining areas! Tastefully decorated and run by kind, friendly, and knowledgeable ladies. We went there one evening this week. It was quite crowded, but there was no problem with waiting. Good food, generous portions, and a good wine list.
The bill was fair for the price and reasonably priced.
What can I say? RECOMMENDED!!

Everything is carefully considered for the customer's well-being. I'm a regular at the Trattoria, and I can tell you the food is divine! Try their homemade cappellacci with Norcia black truffle: a specialty. It's all delicious, of course, and quality comes at a price because they use top-quality ingredients, so the final price may not be cheap, but it's still fair. They have a wide selection of Umbrian wines. The meat they serve melts in your mouth! I'd call the dessert tiramisu "TiramiSuper," even the one they make.
I recommend it.

Convenient hotel just 100 meters from the Assisi train station, excellent for both the stay and the service provided. Rooms are small but well-equipped and reasonably clean. Breakfast is average, served between 8 and 9 a.m. Lunches and dinners are excellent, featuring simple, traditional local dishes and excellent value.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Highly recommended, even for those staying alone for a short time.
