18/10/2025: Nice place. We ordered umbrichelli all'amatriciana and pappardelle al ragù. Both dishes were good, but we would have preferred an amatriciana with more of the flavor of the guanciale, which instead remained soft and almost flavorless.

They have a pleasant veranda with tables for dining, they bring your chosen dishes to you, and the food...what can I say, truly excellent. Lots of choice. The ricotta and fig Margheritas are excellent. Their tiramisu is delicious. Compliments!!!

20/10/2025: I returned to Il Grottino after a very positive first experience some time ago with some friends, and I must say that this time too, the quality was consistently top-notch. Welcoming and well-maintained, with a warm, family atmosphere. The restaurant is tastefully yet authentically furnished, perfect for both a relaxed dinner and a convivial occasion. Traditional Umbrian dishes are carefully prepared using quality ingredients. From homemade first courses to meat-based main courses, everything is prepared with great care. The desserts are also excellent, authentic and beautifully presented. The portions are generous and the flavors are authentic, just as a true trattoria should be. Kindness, helpfulness, and expertise are the hallmarks. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, always ready to offer advice and make guests feel at home.

18/09/2025: We went for both lunch and dinner. The pizza by the slice is excellent and offers a wide selection, and the desserts are wonderful. The selection of gelato flavors is so extensive that it's hard to choose (so to speak). The only solution: try them all! If you come to Gubbio, it's definitely worth a visit.

12/09/2025: Friendly place even with limited English. Popular with the locals it seems. Decent coffee and pastries for breakfast or pieces of pizza later on if you are not looking for ice cream. Seems quite a meeting point and gets customers throughout the day.

10/10/2025: We came to this restaurant for dinner on the recommendation of our hotel, without a reservation. The owner welcomed us warmly and explained the food in detail while taking our orders. Excellent food in a quaint setting, a truly beautiful wine cellar. A must-try if you're in Spoleto. Well done, Francesca, keep up the good work, with your lively charm and kindness. We'll definitely come back to visit you if we ever return to Spoleto.

15/09/2025: I playfully tried to find a flaw in this place, and... I couldn't! Sesto Canto is spacious, elegant, and welcoming, with plenty of seating, including outdoor seating. The menu is refined yet affordable, the pizzas are truly excellent (the dough is simply divine!), and the service is quick and friendly, despite the high attendance. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. If I return to Città di Castello, I'll definitely stop by to try the other specialties on the menu. And if one day I end up in the Sesto Canto's infernal circle... well, at least it will have been for a pizza like this: it will have been worth it! 🍕🔥

20/09/2025: This is an amazing agriturismo. Our hosts Luca en Matteo were so kind and helpful. Matteo is an amazing chef who prepares a fresh four course meal every night. It was never a problem that I am a vegetarian, he always made up an alternative meal for me. The location is beautiful and the brothers have great suggestions for places to visit in the area. We enjoyed the view every day. The room was really nice and clean and the pool was great! We hope to visit again sometime.

12/10/2025: Il Menestrello, the best restaurant/pizzeria in Assisi, I always go there for dinner every time I visit this wonderful city. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the pizzas are incredibly tasty and delicious. The pizza chefs are fantastic! Highly recommended.

03/11/2025: In response to the owner's counterarguments posted on The Fork, I'd like to clarify that we didn't reach an agreement with anyone; the quality of the food was simply terrible. The potato cake was bad, inedible, and nonsensical; the fries were old and stale, probably fried in stale oil; the ravioli were a mixture of radicchio-flavored cream with completely unrelated flavors. The icing on the cake was the complete mess, a sign of your unpreparedness and lack of professionalism. Instead of responding with innuendo and other such remarks, you'd do well to engage in some self-criticism and remedy the organization worthy of a village festival, with inedible dishes presented in an embarrassingly 1980s-style manner. Chaos is bearable, but the scarcity of the dishes offered is not. The bill was disproportionate. Feel free to reply here too... so I can tell you more. From the water tanks between the tables, to the stench of smoke inside the restaurant, to the fact that you employ kids who are completely unprepared for dining room service.... If you want, you can continue... Reorganize yourself instead of accusing your customers and do a little self-criticism. Presumption won't get you very far. Excellent, I see you understood correctly!!! Regarding the comments made about me, be careful of a serious lawsuit...you described yourself perfectly!!!!! Regarding the dishes you prepared, they came back unfinished and were nothing but delicious, and honestly, I felt ashamed for you to suggest certain dishes. Keep it up and persist in responding in this tone.... You will surely reap the rewards. Best regards

11/10/2025: I've been coming to this place for 10 years, first on Via Bartieri, now just before the Ponte della Pietra roundabout! Always quality products! The owners are always helpful and kind! The torte al testo, fried foods, and desserts are all delicious and at a more than fair price! Well done guys 🤩

25/09/2025: Kind and friendly staff, very good cake, the only flaw was the power went out at the end of the dinner, obviously it's not their fault but neither do they expect me to go and withdraw money to pay (also because if I didn't come back good luck finding me, but fortunately let's be honest) offer them two desserts for once since the rest was already paid.
