27/04/2025: I'm only reviewing the restaurant because I didn't use the rooms. Excellent dishes prepared using quality raw materials! Old-fashioned flavors and excellent meats. The venue is beautiful and the external environment smacks of poetry. Friendly staff, service on time.

27/05/2025: Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay at Stella de la Versilia. Highlights included a quiet location surrounded by umbrella pines, two parking lots, a large, pleasant grounds to explore, clean and well-equipped rooms, easy access to the Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, and Siena, a high-quality breakfast buffet, very friendly staff at the restaurant and at breakfast, helpful and friendly housekeepers, a smart TV that didn't spoil anything, and the respect for my disability-related accommodations (walk-in shower). The Olivo restaurant is also very pleasant, despite the limited vegetarian options, which are not unique to it but rather typical of the region between land and sea. The quantities and quality are there, and the service is impeccable. The only difficulties: the lack of air conditioning, which was mentioned as being activated on the hotel's pages but wasn't. It was supposed to be turned on on May 1st, we were told, but never was, despite the 26°C in the rooms, which was hard to bear for Northern Europeans. And then, yes, a pool open all year round is nice, but if it's heated, that's even better... We were disappointed by the lack of opportunity to relax in it between our many visits. Too bad. However, regarding the paid water in the room mentioned in another comment, the person concerned is probably referring to the water in the "mini bar" fridge, which is charged as in all hotels (except for the welcome tray, which here provides tea and coffee), and not running water, which is absolutely not included in the charge. In short, we've made do with a few inconveniences and always keep a fan in our trunk when we travel to avoid disappointments. It would be fair to mention that 1) the pool is not heated, 2) the air conditioning is only active at certain times of the year and not based on the actual temperature or constantly, as was supposed to be the case. Regarding the location, I removed one star because, although I really appreciated the peace and quiet, Massa and Ronchi are a little empty at this time of year, while Camaiore and Viareggio are more welcoming despite the low season. However, this hotel remains well located in relation to the sea and the baths, as well as to the main roads and shops. I therefore recommend this hotel but suggest that it provide some clarification on its pages.

20/05/2025: The place is incredible because it belongs to Gigi Buffon's family, and the entire lobby and restaurant are decorated with top soccer players' attire. I really liked the quality of the restaurant's dinner, the staff's service, and the breakfast buffet. Regarding the room, I only want to note that the air conditioning is not controllable and it was a bit warm. Otherwise, it's very good. Excellent 4 stars.

25/05/2025: Excellent experience in a truly special restaurant. Fabio and Francesca know how to welcome customers with warmth and professionalism. The stone environment is visually striking, elegant but at the same time welcoming. The outdoor spaces are wonderful, well-kept and intimate: ideal for a relaxing dinner... The cuisine was surprising: the duck à l'orange was cooked to perfection, with balanced and refined flavors. The lamb stew, very tender and tasty, melted in the mouth. The first courses were also of the highest level, rich in flavor and made with quality raw materials. A place where we will definitely return. Highly recommended for those looking for a combination of atmosphere, courtesy and excellent cuisine.

19/05/2025: I have been coming here for 4/5 years now, very good home-made food, the management is family-run, even if there are many people they are fast. Also great for families in the summer since there is a playground outside

03/06/2025: We happened to be here this weekend of June 2nd, on the suggestion of "Momi", in this small and characteristic place. We ate and drank divinely. The waiter, a very nice and very prepared person, made us feel at ease immediately. "Simple" but well-prepared and very good food. The tagliolini with mushrooms are amazing... Excellent summer terrace with a view of the valley. We hope to return one day....

Beyond the fact that it is the only restaurant with a rich and engaging vegetarian and vegan choice, the food is always quality and km0, the wine list modest but impactful, attentive and thoughtful staff. The warm and familiar environment has always made me feel at home. More than recommended! If I could give six stars I would! Thank you for always making me spend beautiful and tasty moments😊

09/05/2025: A lovely place for lunch or dinner. There was plenty of seating inside and out. We went for the asparagus and speck risotto and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly, also reasonably priced. Would definitely return if we came back to Orvieto.

18/05/2025: Attracted by the reviews we land in this beautiful and welcoming restaurant. Immediately you notice a certain level of elegance and refinement. Dinner for 4, we take 3 appetizers, all excellent with refined and well thought out products. Cold cuts and cheeses of the highest quality. For the second course we take 3 carbonara with truffle and 1 duck breast. Excellent first courses, made with head and thought. The duck breast a little overcooked and dry for my taste, I would have definitely liked a little more moisture inside the breast and more accompanying sauce. Perhaps the mistake lies in having served the breast already galloped. I think the service is the sore point: I think it was generally a little absent, perhaps dictated by the fact of wanting to give an elegant air to the restaurant, but a more present service would have been more appreciated. When taking the order, the head waiter was a bit annoyed and when asked about a change to the carbonara (I just wanted to know if it was possible to remove the truffle) she responded in an unpleasant way: "No, he doesn't make changes to the dishes" referring to the chef. Overall it was a very pleasant evening, all the dishes were very good and of a high standard. Perhaps a more relaxed air from the staff would be an added plus.

18/05/2025: Una location che si fa apprezzare per aver conservato i locali con volte a mattoni tipici medioevali e altrettanto per la tradizione culinaria. Unico neo ma forse meglio così, non vi è ricezione quindi si dialoga sorseggiando un buon vino, locale !

Noi abbiamo preso direttamente il secondo di carne, costarelle di agnello e brasato, di alta qualità, presentazione accurata, gusto; ottimi anche i dolci. Il personale ti accompagna, consiglia e ti fa sentire a casa. il prezzo è adeguato alla qualità delle portate.
