The vegetarian salad, on the other hand, was less convincing: while attractively presented and with fresh ingredients, it lacked flavorful character. The toppings seemed rather bland, and the overall experience lacked impact on the palate, leaving a feeling of incompleteness compared to the richness and personality of the pizza al testo.

09/05/2026: Hi, we had lunch today. There were four of us. The food was a surprise, everything was delicious. The fresh pasta and the meat were excellent, as were the side dishes and desserts. 13/01/2026: An average restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't leave any particular impressions. The tagliata didn't live up to expectations; it's hard to even classify it. Basic service, pleasant atmosphere, two rooms, one more welcoming, the other less so... overall, the experience was rather unimpressive. It's a shame, because there are definitely better options in the Orvieto area.

07/01/2026: Great restaurant! The menu is consistent with the area and local traditions. The first courses were excellent, especially the tagliatelle. We really appreciated the quality of the pasta and its cooking. The service was fast and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as the place filled up quickly. Although the town is small and easy to navigate, the restaurant is conveniently located. A good choice considering the quality and price, even though ours was a quick and simple lunch.

While we were there, we also bought some whole wheat bread; this deserves a special mention for its exceptional quality, superb. The place is very popular, and there's a reason why. Thank you.

03/04/2026: The truffle pasta at the restaurant recommended by the guide was delicious. However, ordering at an Italian restaurant felt a bit awkward. I clearly ordered just one pasta dish, but a fried egg came out with it, and the price was similar to the pasta. I was shocked. I don't know if I just mindlessly said okay, but it didn't feel good. I turned around thinking it was a relief since the food was good, but did they pull a trick on me for a moment? Anyway, make sure to check the box stating that you are only eating this when ordering.

03/04/2026: The dishes are both delicious and visually stunning, and truly exceptional. Some are even experimental, blending diverse culinary traditions with classic Italian cuisine. The interior is stylishly modern and very cozy, with chill jazz playing in the background. The staff is very friendly (especially with children)! Not overpriced! Update 2026 (8 years later): Nothing has changed! On the contrary, it might even be a touch better :)

It's one of those "old-school" trattorias where substance matters more than appearance, and where you always leave with a smile (and definitely full). Highlights: The portions are rightly described as "outrageous" or "truck-driver-sized" due to their generous size. Among the unmissable specialties are the fresh, handmade pasta first courses, a true trademark of the restaurant. Main courses with character: the fried lamb is a rare, crispy and flavorful specialty, as is the mixed grill and the Milanese cutlet, served in impressive sizes. Service and hospitality: Besides the excellent food, what makes this place special is the family atmosphere. The staff are extremely kind, always smiling and ready to run between the tables to ensure nothing is missing, even though the restaurant is often full. You can sense a rare dedication: the staff is friendly, fast, and attentive. and capable of making you feel immediately "at home". In short: An unbeatable quality-price ratio for those who love authentic flavors. It's not a place for those seeking luxury, but it's perfect for those who want divine food and be surrounded by exquisite people. We went there for two nights even though we were staying in Valfabbrica!!
