17/08/2025: had a fruit smoothie on a hot morning with my dog. they had water ready for her and gave her dog treats. they were so kind to me and my dog. considering they are steps from the tower and serving refreshing things im surprised they dont charge more. ignore the man having a fit in the other review. was the staff rude? no. but i wasnt either so that is probably why he didnt like them 🤣

27/10/2025: The pizza was nothing out of the ordinary, but fairly priced. My wife wanted to order hot tea, but this wasn’t on the menu. The waitress kindly ordered tea from another cafe and brought it over for us!

14/10/2025: Stopped by by chance... while visiting Volterra. Superb chickpea pizza. Excellent prices. Stop by, it's worth it.

28/03/2025: Booked for a dinner + live evening; dinner shared with strangers at three long tables, (tasteless) food brought at lightning speed, drinks shared with everyone (if finished they had to be paid for as extra)... definitely better to opt for just the live show

14/03/2025: The venue is very nice, typical of live pubs. The beer is good, and the cocktails are good. The only problem is the location... a bit far from the center of Vicopisano and a bit far from the farmhouse, to be able to have a steady clientele...

22/11/2025: The pizza was excellent, we had it with avocado and salmon; everything was fresh. They didn't skimp on the alcohol in the drinks; they were quite strong, which was an added bonus. I recommend it.

19/07/2025: Location molto carina, con luci e gazebi (avrei preferito un po di musica di sottofondo). Siamo arrivate e non hanno trovato la prenotazione, ma ci hanno accontentato mettendoci fuori anche se prima ci avevano proposto il locale interno ma per il troppo caldo abbiamo rifiutato. Sotto consiglio del cameriere abbiamo scelto la formula “all you can x” con taglierone e braviata x5 persone; come si vede dal menu abbiamo speso per questa formula 26,9 a persona. In più abbiamo preso degli spritz e dell’acqua. Per le nostre bocche quei due “taglieroni” erano veramente grandi, infatti la carne abbiamo deciso di portarla via. Il prezzo è medio alto ma per quello che abbiamo preso lo riteniamo giusto. Lo consiglio per le “bocche buone”!

15/07/2025: Ho passato una serata davvero bellissima con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante. La carne era ottima, tenera e saporita, proprio come piace a noi! Il vino era molto buono, perfetto per accompagnare il pasto. Il locale è incorniciato in un posto carino, accogliente e piacevole, ideale per trascorrere momenti di relax e convivialità. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chi cerca un’esperienza gustosa e piacevole in un ambiente bello e familiare. Torneremo sicuramente!

11/09/2025: I recommend avoiding this place if you don't want to get frustrated. One staff member in particular is very discouraging – she overheard our request to make our coffees and instead started preparing orders for customers behind us. She then disappeared into the back, and if I hadn't insisted on my order, I probably never would have received it.

13/10/2025: If you're looking for the worst Panini in all of Volterra, you've come to the right place. Two of the three ladies who work the counter can't be bothered to even make eye contact - number three (the youngest) was nice.

07/09/2025: Burger Guacamole. Well, raw meat kinda ruined whole meal. And ofc nobody aksed me how it should be fried. Fries were to salty. Waiter offered us a sauce for the fries but 20 mins later we just ate them without it :)

10/11/2025: Everything has gotten worse, especially the sales and customer service staff, who wander around the aisles doing anything but work. A guy I tried to ask for information was having fun on the phone as if he were in a bar, but at the second mention he turned his back on me and walked away. I left without buying anything. I won't be back.

07/11/2025: I went to IKEA one morning with my twins, thinking I could leave them in the play area (like I did with their now grown brother). To my surprise, I discovered it's only open in the afternoon. It was election season, so schools were closed and there were lots of families with children. It was a huge disservice to me; obviously, I didn't see anything I wanted to see. If I'd known, I wouldn't have even left home.

07/11/2025: I ate a very ordinary bowl of noodles, two pieces of pork belly, and a dollop of incomprehensible cream—a terrible dinner.

26/10/2025: Awful staff and restaurant. We are visiting for a week from England and my 2 year old daughter desperately needed the toilet. I rushed her to the restaurant and begged the staff but they refused. She ended up urinating at the entrance. I don't care what Italian laws are but simple decency and kindness is universal. Even in England where everyone is obsessed with making money, they will always make an exception for children. Awful people!

20/10/2025: I tried this bakery on Toogoodtogo. I bought the large package for 4.99. I went to pick it up, and it had been ready for a while. There was a line to pick up these packages. I immediately noticed the weight was off. When I got home, I weighed the package; it was 1.6 kg. Inside, it was from a few days ago. Some loaves were extremely hard. I've attached a photo. The number seems significant, but considering that most of them were small and that I could have bought the same weight of fresh bread at the Co-op for the same price...it's disappointing. The real cost should be 15 euros, according to Toogoodtogo. I won't be going back.

05/10/2025: I bought it using the TooGoodTooGo app. All we got in the package were stale rolls and bread. I don't recommend it. We compared it to other Italian cities where the packages included pizza, foccacia, and sweet pastries.

22/08/2025: Bad experience We probably arrived on the wrong day at the wrong time, but this place has a terrible memory... we had booked for one night... The road to get there is unpaved and not suitable for low-slung cars. The welcome in the afternoon was embarrassing, with a heated argument between the owners or employees, no presentation of the place or its amenities, and no information about possible breakfast/lunch/dinner. The animal and dog enclosures were unpresentable and in disgraceful condition. No one showed up at the pool the entire afternoon, and the flooring needed fixing, with several loose or missing tiles, and a leaky shower. The depth of the pool increases significantly from the middle onward, exceeding 3 meters, making it unsuitable for children, and there was no lifeguard. The garden and all the outdoor furniture gave off a sense of profound neglect... The apartment, on the other hand, is clean and spacious. Regarding the restaurant service, I can't comment on it, as I haven't used it. I will never go back, not recommended

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was truly disappointing. When we arrived to check in, the place felt abandoned, and the only sounds we could hear were those of two locals arguing heatedly. The pool needs urgent maintenance: some tiles are unstable and give off a sense of neglect and danger. While walking around the grounds, we still found the remains of fireworks, probably from New Year's Eve, with debris and dirt left on the lawn near the pool. The saddest and most unacceptable thing was seeing two dogs locked in a small, filthy enclosure, full of uncollected feces. They never seem to be let out, and this is truly shameful and inhumane. A place that could have so much potential, but is currently terribly managed. Absolutely avoid.
