Excellent dishes and freshly made main courses, including the most classic cutlets dipped in egg, breaded, and fried to perfection. For a meal without a doubt in an area that's not exactly busy, but if you happen to be here and it's lunchtime, you'll hit the jackpot.

12/05/2025: The fresh sandwiches and salads were so delicious. The staff are also friendly. The bathroom is also clean. I was able to enjoy it comfortably. I will definitely come back when I come to Volterra 😍

23/06/2025: Delicious pizza, brilliant service. We were very impressed. My husband was able to eat pizza for the first time in 6 years, because you can order gluten-free pizza in the restaurant. We highly recommend it, the best pizza we have ever eaten!

19/08/2025: Expectations were high. Too bad The atmosphere was old, cramped, and we suffered from the heat. The food was good, locally sourced and home-made. The owner was friendly, but the waitress was less attentive. They had us eat downstairs, but it felt like we were in a cramped, enclosed, and, I repeat, hot bunker. We did, however, take a long time to eat, but I can't say it wasn't good at all.

25/07/2025: There were four of us, and we had two first courses, two pizzas, a dish of the day, and three desserts. The first courses were spectacular: the spaghetti with clams and pistachio pesto was truly fantastic; the pasta with grilled meat and citrus was truly delicious; the venison carpaccio with raspberries and pecorino was incredibly flavorful; the pizzas were of fantastic quality and tasted excellent. The desserts took us on a journey, with delicious and flavorful ingredients. We were planning on having a relaxing evening among ourselves; the location, and especially the service and the owner's friendliness, made it all the more wonderful. In short, thank you, because we not only ate wonderfully, but also had a truly wonderful experience. Last but not least, the prices: definitely fair and affordable, allowing you to try multiple dishes and have a complete dinner without spending a fortune. Truly excellent.

27/07/2025: Che dire, è sempre iper affollato di operai e lavoratori in genere, persone che al classico noioso panino o alla mensa insulsa preferiscono giustamente farsi un bel piatto di pasta o un secondo come si deve. Sfido chiunque a trovare un posto dove per 5 o 6€ ti danno TRE etti di pasta, non lo trovi. Condimenti in linea di massima semplici ma ben fatti e anche i secondi non sono affatto male, abbondanti e ben preparati, idem per i dolci. Non do 5 su 5 solo perché a volte è veramente troppo pieno ma questo ripensandoci mezzo secondo in tempi di magra è solo un bene, chi lavora bene merita di essere ripagato. (Però la prossima volta che ordino la macedonia e vi dimenticate di mettermela da parte…) 😁

01/07/2025: We came for dinner on a post-work day! For the summer I highly recommend the veranda outside, the place is very nice and well-kept! A compliment goes to Mario, who served us from start to finish with attention and care, recommending good dishes (orata forno is a 10).

20/07/2025: Even though we had a reservation for 7.30pm we were given a table in full sunlight on a 30 + degree day. Our request for a shadier table was met with total rudeness and annoyance.

20/07/2025: Don't bother coming here, any minor inconvenience and the staff will ruin your night. We booked a table and they put us in the sun. When we asked to move to an equivalent table they had a hissy fit like little children until we walked out.

17/08/2025: Nothing special, pizzas are ok (but with a thin and dry crust, I prefer the softer ones), service is not very fast but nice and kind

11/08/2025: Eight of us had dinner there. All the pizzas were delicious. A true taste of Italy. The tiramisu is divine and the crepes are made to order. The service was impeccable. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.
