27/02/2025: Ate here 5 times in 2 weeks. Very helpful staff even though they spoke very little English. Food was excellent. And the prices were always very reasonable- especially compared to what we see in the US! Highly recommend.

23/02/2025: 23 February 2025 we ended up in Casciana Terme for a Sunday trip, we booked a table for two. Small, very cozy and welcoming environment. We ordered an appetizer of Penitente and Cinta Senese ham, excellent flavor and taste, combined with a Tuscan DOP bread rich in fragrant wheat germ with an ancient flavour. QFirst we ordered "pici all'Aglione with the trick" revealed to us by the friendly owner complete with video recipe. We gladly recommend it! Giovanna and Enzo

12/10/2024: I was there now at the end of September to the beginning of October 2024! The location is very scenic and impressive! From every spot on the property you have a wide view over the typical Tuscan landscape, You can experience the sunrise in the cozy garden and take a refreshing dip in the pool! The holiday homes and apartments are in Tuscan lamb house style, very comfortably furnished and practically equipped! Each apartment has its own small terrace with a table, chairs and loungers! I felt very comfortable there and had a good rest! The owners are very friendly, open to all concerns and suggestions grateful and will fulfill your wishes promptly! The employees were all very friendly and conscientious! I will definitely come here again, for example for the olive harvest, if you have that in your program as planned! I will recommend this idyllic vacation home to my friends Recommend! Thank you for the wonderful time at your property!

27/02/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante per san valentino ed è stata davvero un ottima cena, il posto è piccolo ma accogliente, il servizio è stato eccellente, veloce e il cameriere ci ha trattato con molta gentilezza spiegandoci bene anche i piatti. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto e due secondi di carne e si sente la qualità del prodotto, anche i dolci sono da assaggiare. Locale che consiglio vivamente.

09/02/2025: Antipasto misto perfetto. Pasta al pomodoro poco saporita ma valida. Straccetti di manzo discreti ma poco sazianti con insalata. Verdure grigliate discrete. Semifreddo al pistacchio ottimo. Prezzo leggermente alto, buona cortesia staff e tempi di attesa.

12/02/2025: Questo angolo di bontà e accoglienza è sicuramente uno degli avamposti del mangiar bene in zona e non solo. Difficilmente si riescono a trovare pizzerie e ristoranti così completi e accoglienti. Premesso dal fatto che si dota di un ambiente veramente gradevole e accogliente, adatto per tutte le occasioni, Sciannà regalerà a tutti coloro che vorranno provarlo serate veramente gradevoli all'insegna della totale versatilita, perché ha il raro pregio di offrire da mangiare praticamente di tutto e tutto di alta qualità con ottimi rapporto qualità - prezzo. Infatti qui, accolti dalla dinamica e simpaticissima Silvia, potrete rilassarvi e scegliere ottime pizze, veramente fragranti e perfette, con possibilità di ampia scelta di gusti che partono tutti da ottime materie prime..ma Sciannà non si qualifica solo come ottima pizzeria: infatti troverete la possibilità di fare ristorante con ottime portate sia di terra che di mare. A riprova della serietà del posto, vanta piatti fuori menù che naturalmente cambiano in base alla disponibilità di stagione. Se le pizze sono quindi veramente buone, altrettanto imperdibile è sceglierlo come ristorante. Che dire del servizio, sempre attento e gentile, che vi farà sentire veramente accolti con piatti squisiti, equilibrati perché preparati veramente con cura e attenzione. Gli elogi, tutti meritati, non finiscono qui perché la cucina di mare, ad esempio, offre primi squisiti (risotto di mare), ricette locali (eccellente tabaccolara), classici intramontabili (lo scoglio), primizie fuori menù (spaghetti alle arselle) con un occhio speciale al territorio e ai sapori più freschi e genuini.. come il primo locale al cinghiale, squisita primizia secondo disponibilità stagionale..Le porzioni sono sempre abbondanti e curate, vasta la scelta di genuini antipasti, sia di mare (eccelle l'insalata di mare squisitamente tiepida) che di terra (un must il tagliere con crostini, salumi e formaggi)..I secondi, poi non sono affatto da meno, come ad esempio ottime fratture di mare e molte altre leccornie sia di terra che di mare..Buona offerta di vini e anche i dessert sono veramente goduriosi..Sciannà è veramente un angolo di buon gusto e pace, una meta irrinunciabile e adattissima per ogni tipo di occasione: compleanni, serate tranquille in famiglia, arredamento caldo e accogliente, tanta gentilezza e pace che rendono questo posto sempre versatile e una certezza che ha davvero le carte in regola per accontentare tutti...e il tutto a un ottimo rapporto qualità -prezzo., che non guasta mai..Senza dimenticare poi le serate speciali con offerte imperdibili il mercoledì e il venerdì sera..Un posto del cuore e una certezza da non lasciarsi scappare che consigliamo di prenotare sempre in grande anticipo.. 28/02/2025: Cena in sette. Tavolo esterno in parco molto molto curato. Cena a base di pesce, carne e pizza. Serata molto piacevole con una buona proposta sia di mare che di terra. Discreto rapporto qualita prezzo.

30/03/2025: Lots of choice of Tuscan specialities, we went in to buy some Tuscan oil, the attentive and kind staff let us taste the delicacies they offered and we left delighted and with a lot of extra food! Highly recommended

02/03/2025: Great location just a couple of minutes from the tower. Had a panini and coffee, which were amazing. Also got some truffle pesto to keep those Italian flavours going when we get home. Great little find

16/03/2025: We had lunch today in this tavern which caught our attention with the sign shown in the photo boasting a complete menu for 15 euros. It seemed unlikely but plausible for a hospital in a little-known municipality in the middle of the mountains. Once inside and seated we are told that the menu is only for weekdays. Now by law we could have eaten and expected payment as per the price indicated but we wanted to spend a peaceful Sunday and we let it go so the stars went from a potential 4 to 3. In a short time the place filled up, fueling our expectations for an excellent lunch. The starters which on the menu should have cost €9 (charged €12) arrive almost immediately. After that we waited 40 minutes for two first courses. In the meantime we enjoyed the owner's terrible comments about customers who, deceived by the sign, entered and then turned on their heels. Unprofessional comments made in the room with other customers listening not to mention people asked to leave to make room for others. After 40 minutes we were about to leave but these eagerly awaited starters arrive. A big disappointment. The starters were not in large quantities despite the (high) cost but pappardelle with wild boar and ravioli we expected something more abundant but above all really good. They knew nothing. We decided to have our coffee elsewhere just to go away but we also wait to pay, who knows why. Maybe it's lucky that the full menu wasn't offered we would have spent the whole day there. Unlike the other comments, the tavern is beautiful and smacks of history as it should but we won't go back and we don't recommend it. It takes courage to call everyone a liar in the face of evidence. 07/03/2025: Excellent pizza, plentiful and quality toppings. Don't miss the focaccias, they deserve it. Focaccia and cecina come naturally. Finally, a not very common characteristic: very punctual.
